Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their family in prayer. Lord, we ask for a reprieve from the trials and troubles that they are facing. We know that you are the God of peace and that in your presence, there is fullness of joy and comfort. We pray that you would surround ### and their family with your peace, that surpasses all understanding.
In your Word, you promise that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us and grant our requests. We pray that you would grant this request for a season of peace and rest for ###'s family. May they experience your presence in a tangible way, finding solace and strength in you.
Lord, we also pray for the peace that comes from knowing you personally. We ask that you would draw each family member closer to you, revealing yourself to them in a powerful way. Help them to seek you diligently, knowing that you are a present help in times of trouble.
We also lift up the congregation to which ### belongs. May your word have free course in their midst, and may the household of faith grow stronger while the household of unbelief grows weaker. We pray for their country, that leaders would govern according to your principles and that the light of your truth would not be extinguished.
Lastly, we pray for their minister, that you would strengthen and equip them for the work you have called them to. May they be filled with your Spirit, teaching and guiding others in the ways of righteousness. Grant them good health and a steadfast spirit as they serve your people.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you hear us and will answer according to your perfect will. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
