We lift up your precious children to the Lord with hearts full of love and concern. Father, we ask that You would go before your daughter as she prepares for her music audition. May she feel Your peace and presence, knowing that her worth is found in You alone. Calm any nerves and fill her with confidence, not in her own abilities, but in the gifts You have given her. Guide her steps to the right opportunities, and above all, draw her heart closer to You. May she seek You with all her heart, soul, and mind, for You promise in Jeremiah 29:13, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart."
For your younger daughter, we pray that she would find joy in learning and the strength to persevere in her studies. Help her to see the value of discipline and hard work, knowing that these are tools You use to shape her character. May she grow in wisdom and understanding, as Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Surround her with encouragement and give her a heart that delights in the opportunities before her.
For your son, we ask that You would build his confidence in who You created him to be. Help him to see himself through Your eyes, as Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made. We pray for his physical growth, trusting that You have a perfect plan for his life, just as You did for young David, who was chosen by You despite his stature. Remind him that his identity is not found in how he compares to others, but in Christ, who strengthens him. May he stand tall in the confidence of Your love, as Ephesians 3:12 says, "in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him."
Father, we also lift up this family to You, asking that You would be the center of their home. May they seek You together, growing in faith and love for one another. We pray that these children would come to know You personally, for there is no greater joy than to walk with You all the days of their lives. Help them to understand that it is only through the name of Jesus that they can come to You, for He said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." May they place their trust in Him, believing in His sacrifice and resurrection, so that they may have eternal life.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or comparison that may be trying to take root in their hearts. We declare that these children are set apart for Your purposes, and we pray that they would walk in the fullness of who You created them to be. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may shine Your light wherever they go.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
