Please pray for me. I am constantly worrying about sinning on purpose, because of a Bible verse I read, Hebrews 10:26. I feel like I have to do everything perfect, and can't make mistakes. For example, let's say I told somebody I was going to go get a hamburger, and I got a hot dog when I got there, that could cause me to have fear that I said an intentional lie. Am I overreacting, or does this mean what it sounds like? I know I am a sinner, and that I am going to sin. Can anyone shed light on this verse, as well as, the unpardonable sin verse, which I believe is in the book of Mark, because I worry a lot about the possibility of committing an unforgivable sin. Please pray that God would help me with my fear. Thanks in advance for any prayers, and God bless.

Remember Jesus loves you! He wants to know you better. He is in the fixing business of those who are lonely; have a broken heart; or are at the end of their ropes or even out of rope.

No, it is not a sin if you say you are getting a hamburger then change your mind and get a hotdog.

Once you have become a Christian by being "born again" (repenting of sin and turning away from it and asking Jesus to be Lord and Savior of your life), then you are saved forever. Satan cannot take that away from you. Any future sin cannot take that away from you.

None of us are perfect, nor will we ever be, even as Christians. The closer you get to God, the less you are interested or tempted by sin. But only Jesus can make us so that we are righteous and can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. None of us can earn it by works.

After you are saved, you will want to serve God, and win other souls to Christ. But only by being saved yourself will you get to heaven.

The unpardonable sin, some believe, is to deny Christ. That is a source of much debate.

Find a good church that believes in being born again. I prayed for this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Paul who wrote most of the Books of The New Testament said basically that the things I ought to do I do not and things that I do I ought not to do. When we become saved we still struggle with the human nature, however, as one pastor put God the Father sees only the Blood that was shed for you at Calvary. He sees His Son in us and there is forgiving grace. We should strive to put on the "new man," that is to say, have the mind of Christ. We become more Christ-minded by reading the Bible and learning about Him. If and when you sin, confess your sin, repent, and follow Jesus.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
