Please pray for ### and ###

Beloved of All
These are my coworkers who are bullies. They are teaming up to bully and carry out plans that are evil. We need to work as a team to bring out the best and optimal result. Please pray for these people so they can stop being bullies.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation at your workplace. Bullying is a serious matter, and Scripture is clear that we are to treat one another with kindness, respect, and love. The apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 4:29-32, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

It is deeply concerning to hear that these coworkers are teaming up to carry out plans that are evil. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 6:16-19 about the things that the Lord hates, including "hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers." We must rebuke this behavior in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is not pleasing to God. We pray that the Lord would convict their hearts and turn them away from their wicked ways.

We also want to remind you, dear one, that you are not alone in this. Jesus understands what it is like to be mistreated and bullied. Isaiah 53:3 describes Him as "despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him." You can take comfort in knowing that Jesus is with you in this trial, and He will give you the strength to endure.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts that are burdened by the bullying and evil plans that are taking place in this workplace. Lord, we know that You see all things and that nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring an end to the mistreatment that is occurring.

Father, we pray for these coworkers who are engaging in bullying. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the harm they are causing. Convict them of their sin, Lord, and lead them to repentance. May they turn away from their wicked ways and seek to build up rather than tear down.

We pray for wisdom and strength for our brother or sister who is being bullied. Give them the courage to stand firm in their faith and to respond with grace and love, even in the face of mistreatment. Help them to remember that their worth and identity are found in You alone, and not in the opinions of others.

Lord, we ask that You would bring unity and harmony to this workplace. May Your love and peace reign in the hearts of all who work there. Help them to see the value in working together as a team to bring about the best results, as You intended.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to change hearts and bring about true transformation. Amen.

In the midst of this trial, we encourage you to continue to walk in love and to pray for those who mistreat you. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This is not an easy command to follow, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, it is possible.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your church family. Share your struggles with trusted believers who can pray with you and offer encouragement. Remember, you do not have to face this alone.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your ultimate hope is in Jesus Christ. He is the One who has overcome the world, and in Him, you can find peace and rest, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will work all things together for your good, according to His perfect will.

We hear the weight in what you’ve shared, being targeted by two people who should be on your team is exhausting and deeply unfair. It must feel like you’re trying to do your best work while they’re pulling in the opposite direction with plans that have nothing to do with a good outcome. We are sorry you’re walking through this, and we are standing with you in prayer.

Often the hardest part of workplace bullying is the sense of isolation, but you are not alone, even when it feels that way. Right now, simply being honest about it and bringing it to God is a strong step, you’re refusing to let it fester in the dark. We will pray for your coworkers, that whatever is driving their cruelty would be disrupted. But we also want to pray over you: for clarity, for steady courage, and for the practical wisdom you need day by day.

One concrete thing you might consider, if you haven’t yet, is documenting specific incidents, dates, words, actions, and quietly sharing your concern with a trusted supervisor or HR person who can address the behavior while also helping you feel less alone in the fight. You don’t have to navigate this silently or carry the burden of fixing them yourself. God sees the whole picture, and he often works through wise, steady people who can step in.

We also ask that God would guard your heart from being poisoned by what you’re enduring. You want the best result; that includes keeping your own spirit whole.

Together, we lift this to you, Father. We ask you to protect this person from harm, to blunt the plans that are meant for evil, and to bring about what is right and just. Soften the hearts of these coworkers, convict them, stop the bullying, and if they are carrying pain that spills onto others, bring healing. Give our friend peace that doesn’t depend on the actions of others, and surround them with allies. We trust you to work even in this. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Evil thoughts flow out of the heart, such as evil thoughts of man, thoughts about evil, the rolling of evil under the tongue as a sweet morsel. Those ebullitions of evil temper in which we wish people were dead, or otherwise injured, and would gladly punish them if we could, are in the same class as murders. Murders, themselves, arise from the evil passions of the human heart. And when we know that all sorts of evil thoughts and murders, and lustful desires come from men's hearts, it is not at all a difficult conclusion that they must be in men. This is a den of evil which you see at work before you.

But do not be driven, by their evil speaking or their cruel deeds, into harshness of speech or even harshness of thought! Cast your burden upon the Lord. You have a burden upon your back. It comes, you say, from the treachery of these coworkers, but those are only the second causes, or the agents. Trace the matter back to the Great First Cause. A moment's reflection will let you see that the returning of evil for evil is natural to the animal nature, but that it is not, and never can be, natural to the new-created spirit whose nature is like the God from which it came, namely love, gentleness and kindness. Good for evil is God-like. If evil assails you and you only fight it with good, it cannot hurt you; you are invulnerable. If any man curses you and you answer him with a blessing, it is clear that the curse has not hurt you.

There is a unity which is seldom broken, the unity of devils, who, under the service of their great liege master, never disagree and quarrel. From this terrible unity keep us, O God of Heaven! The unity of locusts have one common object, the glutting of themselves to the ruin of all around. The unity of evil we are to break down by every weapon which our hands can grasp. The unity of the Spirit which we are to maintain and foster is quite another thing. The spiritual unity is made up of spiritual men, separated, picked out, cleared away from all the mass with which they happen to be united.

And so for these souls, the remedy is not in our fraying or fleeing. The iniquity is exceeding great, but the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth from all sin. Can the chief of sinners be cleansed from all sin, and know it? Can such a one stand accepted before the throne of God, a holy creature because washed from every sin? This is the plea we lay before the Throne, that He would turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to Himself. Rejoice, yea, sing unto your God, for he will lift up the poor from the dunghill, while he casteth down the mighty from the seats of their pomp and their places of power. The death warrant is gone out from God against everything that is of the creature. He will bring you again from Bashan, and from the depths of the sea if you have sunk as low as that.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You bring a heavy burden before the Lord, and rightly so, for the evil these coworkers plot is not a small thing. Yet remember, the wicked one who stirs them up has power only over those who give themselves to him. They have become his instruments, driven by the very passions that ruin the soul: envy, vainglory, that bitter root from which every conflict springs. So let us pray indeed that God would cut out that root in them, that they might see their own sickness and turn from it. No one harms another more than he harms himself, and the one who plots against his neighbor first destroys his own soul.

But for you, take care how you enter this trial. Do not rush to conflict as though you must win some earthly victory. When we are not summoned to fight, it is wisdom to be quiet and wait. More often, the truest victory is to be defeated in the eyes of the world: the one who bears wrongs with patience and refuses to strike back carries off the crown. A red-hot iron plunged into water loses its fire; so an angry heart meeting a patient spirit is quenched, and the one who sought to harm is instead subdued by your meekness. Imitate the peacemakers, who are called sons of God. With those who hate peace, be peaceful, and your reward will be great.

I pray then for these persons, that God would grant them a contrite and humbled heart, sober and full of repentance. That is His gift, and far more to be desired than any worldly success. For your own soul, arm yourself with faith and steadfastness. The conflict is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness, and you stand firm not by clever plans but by entrusting all to God. Do not ask for the downfall of these bullies, but for their deliverance from the destroyer who holds them captive. And for yourself, seek to be kept in that peace which nothing on earth can trouble, knowing that if you endure this with self-command, the very trial will be shortened and your reward increased. God is not a God of fighting but of reconciliation; let that be your aim, and He will bring about the best result in His own time.

The ache in what you describe runs deep. When those you are meant to work beside turn on you with scheming and cruelty, it cuts straight to the soul. I want you to know that your request is heard, and you are not alone in this.

The first thing to settle in your own heart is that what you are facing is something God hates. Scripture never speaks softly about evil. It destroys both its victims and its perpetrators. The commands God gives are not arbitrary rules but protections, so people do not wreck themselves or those around them. That bullying, those plans, are not just a personality clash; they are a path that leads to death, not life. Holding on to that truth frees you from minimizing what is happening.

But here is the paradox we must hold: while hating the evil, we are called to pray earnestly for those who walk in it. God’s patience is a staggering reality. Time and again in the Scriptures, He sends word after word, warning after warning, because He desires that people turn from their evil ways and live. He is not blind to their actions. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, and no cruelty escapes His notice. Yet His posture is not gleeful vengeance but a longsuffering call to repentance. He extends opportunity after opportunity for a change of heart.

Pray for your coworkers in this light. Ask that God would so work in their consciences that they would hearken and turn from the evil they are doing. It may be that they will hear the inner voice of conviction and abandon these destructive patterns. When a nation or a person truly repents, God relents of the judgment He purposed. That is the nature of His mercy. So pray boldly that instead of judgment, they would find a changed heart and a new way of working together with you.

At the same time, guard your own spirit. When you are the target of malice, the temptation is to let bitterness, wrath, and clamor take root. That kind of evil speaking and internal fury grieves the Spirit of God and perpetuates the very destruction you want to see stopped. Endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace as much as it depends on you. That does not mean excusing their sin, but refusing to become like them in your responses. Counselors of peace have joy, and no final evil shall happen to the just. Your job is not to repay or to scheme back, but to do what is right and leave room for God’s justice.

Trust that He will not let evil go unpunished. It may seem now as if they are getting away with it, but pursuing evil is pursuing one’s own death. The righteous, though they suffer for a season, will come out of trouble. Keep bringing this before the Lord, and ask for the wisdom to navigate each day without falling into the same trap. Pray that the atmosphere on your team would shift from plotting to mutual benefit, and pray that the light of Christ would shine through your own integrity. God is able to turn even the hearts of bullies, but even if the change does not come quickly, He sees, and He will sustain you.
