Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up ### and the spouse in prayer. Lord, You know the struggles and the heartache that have been faced in this marriage over the past year, especially in the last five months. We ask for Your divine intervention and healing in their relationship.
Father, Your Word says in Ephesians 4:32, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray that both ### and the spouse may find it in their hearts to forgive one another as You have forgiven us. May kindness and tenderheartedness replace the pain and misunderstanding.
Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment for this couple. As James 1:5 reminds us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Grant them the wisdom to navigate this challenging time and to seek Your guidance in every decision they make.
We pray for a spirit of unity and reconciliation. In Colossians 3:14, Your Word says, "Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection." May Your love be the bond that holds this marriage together and leads them towards healing and restoration.
Lord, soften the heart of the spouse to recognize any wrongdoings and to seek forgiveness and change. Help ### to feel Your comfort and strength during this difficult time. Surround them both with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.
We trust in Your power to heal and restore, and we place this marriage in Your loving hands. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
