Please Pray for a miracle.

Disciple of Prayer
My ### broke up with me out of nowhere, because she is a fearful avoidant. She lied to me and hurt me. But I still love her. I still think God can heal. God is still the same. Please pray that God heals her heart and that He brings her back to me. I am a man but I have feelings too and I never felt this hurt in my life before. We had beautiful such months together and I am certain that it was God's will. We prayed long before getting together, we experienced miracles and answers to our prayers. I still believe strongly and pray with faith. Please pray for a miracle.

We hear your heartache, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before our Heavenly Father. The pain of a broken relationship is deep, especially when it feels sudden and unjust. We understand your longing for restoration, and we join you in asking God to move mightily in this situation. However, we must also speak truth in love, as Scripture calls us to do.

First, we want to affirm your faith in God’s power to heal and restore. He is indeed the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and nothing is impossible for Him (Luke 1:37). The months you shared together, filled with prayer and miracles, were a testament to His presence in your relationship. We believe God can work in her heart, softening it and drawing her back to Him—and to you—if it is His will. But we must also surrender this desire to Him, trusting that His plans are perfect, even when they don’t align with our own.

We notice that while you mention God, there is no explicit acknowledgment of Jesus Christ in your request. This is a critical point, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your own relationship with Christ, ensuring that your faith is firmly rooted in Him alone. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10). If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and pray that your faith continues to grow.

Now, let us address the nature of your relationship. You describe a deep connection built on prayer and shared faith, which is beautiful. However, we must gently but firmly rebuke any sin that may have been present. If this relationship involved sexual intimacy outside of marriage, that is fornication, and it is a sin that grieves the heart of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this was the case, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness. True healing and restoration can only come when we align our lives with His Word.

We also want to speak to the idea of "God’s will" in this relationship. While it is clear that God was at work in your time together, we must be careful not to assume that our desires are always His will. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." It is possible that God allowed this relationship to grow for a season to teach you both valuable lessons, but that does not necessarily mean He intends for it to continue in the same way. We must trust that His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We also want to address the issue of her avoidance and the pain she caused you. While we pray for her healing, we must also pray for wisdom for you. Proverbs 4:23 warns us to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from it. It is possible that her actions reveal a heart that is not yet ready for the commitment and vulnerability that a godly marriage requires. If this is the case, we must trust God to work in her life, even if that means He does not restore this relationship in the way you hope. Your identity and worth are found in Christ alone, not in her returning to you (Colossians 3:3-4).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this brother who is experiencing deep pain and longing. Lord, You see his heart, and You know the desires he has for restoration. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, softening hearts and bringing healing where it is needed. Father, if it is Your will for this relationship to be restored, we pray that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Bring her back to You, Lord, and if it is Your plan, back to him.

But Father, we also surrender this desire to You. We ask that You would give him peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), knowing that You are in control. Help him to trust in Your timing and Your plans, even when they are not what he hopes for. Lord, if there has been any sin in this relationship, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Help him to walk in purity and holiness, honoring You in all he does.

Father, we pray for her as well. If she is struggling with fear, avoidance, or any other stronghold, we ask that You would break those chains in Jesus’ name. Draw her close to You, Lord, and let her find her security and identity in You alone. If it is Your will for them to be together, prepare her heart for the commitment and love that marriage requires. If not, we ask that You would bring someone else into his life who will love and honor him as You intend—a godly wife who will walk with him in faith and obedience to You.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom for him. Help him to guard his heart and to seek You above all else. Give him the strength to release this relationship into Your hands, trusting that You know what is best. Surround him with godly community, Lord, so that he is not alone in this pain. Fill him with Your peace, joy, and hope, even in the midst of this storm.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word. Spend time in prayer, not just asking for restoration, but also seeking His will and His face. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." You are not alone in this pain. Lean on Him, and allow His Word to comfort and guide you.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers in your life. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety." Surround yourself with people who will speak truth into your life, pray with you, and hold you accountable.

Lastly, remember that God’s love for you is not dependent on her returning to you. His love is steadfast, unchanging, and eternal (Romans 8:38-39). You are deeply loved by Him, and He has a plan for your life that is good (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and allow this season to draw you closer to His heart. Whether He restores this relationship or leads you in a new direction, He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We're here with you, brother, feeling your pain and longing for healing. We've been where you are, and we know the depth of heartache a broken relationship can bring. But we also know the power of our Heavenly Father to heal and restore.

We want to echo the prayers of our fellow believers, asking God to move mightily in this situation. We pray for her healing, that He would soften her heart and draw her back to Him, and if it's His will, back to you. But we also pray for wisdom for you, that you might guard your heart and trust in God's perfect plans, even when they don't align with our own.

We've been reminded of the beauty of your relationship, built on prayer and shared faith. It's a testament to God's presence in your lives. We believe He can work in her heart, softening it and drawing her back to Him, and to you, if it's His will. But we must also surrender this desire to Him, trusting that His plans are perfect, even when they don't match our own.

We're praying for you both, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this deeply painful time. It’s clear how much this relationship means to you, and how much you’ve entrusted to the Lord—both in the beautiful moments you shared and in the brokenness you’re walking through now. We’ve been lifting you up before the Father, asking Him to meet you in your hurt, to strengthen your faith, and to move mightily in this situation.

We know the waiting can feel heavy, especially when the pain is fresh and the future uncertain. But we serve a God who specializes in miracles—who heals wounded hearts, restores what’s been broken, and works all things together for good for those who love Him. We’ve been praying specifically that He would bring healing to her heart, just as you’ve asked, and that He would make His will unmistakably clear in both of your lives.

If you’ve seen any glimpses of His faithfulness—even in small ways—we’d love to hear about it. Your praise reports encourage all of us and remind us that God is always at work. If the answer hasn’t come yet, or if the hurt still feels overwhelming, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We’re not going anywhere; we’ll continue to stand with you, lifting this burden to the Lord until He moves.

Keep holding onto the truth that God hears you, He sees you, and He hasn’t abandoned you. The same God who orchestrated the miracles you experienced before is still on the throne, still working, and still able to do immeasurably more than you could ask or imagine. We’re praying that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as you wait on Him.

May He draw near to you in this season, remind you of His love, and renew your hope day by day. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
