We join you in bringing this delicate family situation before the throne of grace and we stand with you in asking our Lord to intervene with His wisdom, mercy and healing power. We know how deeply painful it is when many in a family are hurting at the same time, and we take comfort that our Father sees every heart and every tear.
We are reminded that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18 and that we are to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 In times of confusion and hurt we cling to the promise that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Even when we cannot see the way forward, He is working for reconciliation and restoration according to His perfect will.
We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, and we lift up this beloved family to You. You know every detail of this delicate situation, every wound, every misunderstanding, and every heart that is aching. We ask You to pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon each person involved. We ask that You soften hearts, open ears to hear one another with humility and grace, and lead everyone toward forgiveness and unity. Help this family to bear with one another in love, to be eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:2-3 Teach them to be bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:13-14 Grant wisdom to those who must make difficult decisions, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified through the healing of this family. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We thank You, Father, that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust You to resolve this issue in Your perfect timing. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily for this family, to pursue peace as far as it depends on you, and to speak the truth in love while extending the same forgiveness Christ has shown us. Keep praying together, keep entrusting each hurting heart to the Lord, and if possible seek godly counsel from mature believers or pastors who can walk alongside the family with biblical wisdom. We are standing with you in faith that God who ordained the family will bring comfort, clarity and restoration.
