Please pray fast and quickly lord

Why do you let mere dreams shake your soul? I hear your words tumbling one upon another, full of fear about what sleep brought, about faces made against you, about whispers and blockings and blood ties you fear will be broken. But consider what our Lord said: the winds blew and the floods came and beat upon the house. To the one who hears His words and does them, that house never falls, being founded upon the rock. Your dreams are no more than wind. Your anxieties about false words and friends speaking against you are floods. But the rock is Christ’s teaching, and if you build there, none of these things can move you.

Do not let your heart be enslaved to nightmares. The person who despises outward comforts even here receives a reward, being freed from anxiety, rivalry, false accusation, plotting, and envy. The endless listing of names, the dread of what so‑and‑so may have said, the craving for others to defend you, all this is a storm you feed with your own attention. Turn away. Stop letting suspicious thoughts rule you. If you have been wronged, then bring it to the light as the Scripture commands: “Reprove him, lest haply he hath not said it.” Go to the one you fear has slandered you, not with accusation but with a desire to know the truth. For many judgments are formed upon suspicion, and God’s way is that every matter be established by witnesses, not by anxious imaginings. If your own conscience is clean, why tremble before shadows? The truth does not fear examination; it is unrighteousness that flees the light.

You ask God to intervene, to speak to this one and that one, to reveal truths and hide others. But the Lord already knows all. He sees the heart. The righteous man, like Job, stood unshaken not because every human tongue spoke well of him but because his foundation was God alone. When your peace depends on others’ apologies, on family members fighting for your name, on someone’s mother hearing an explanation, then you have built on sand. Let God be your vindicator. Let your own conduct be so full of integrity that false charges die of their own weakness. Even if reproach comes, remember the saints who were driven out and slandered for righteousness’ sake, they counted it joy. Your worth is not in human approval but in Christ.

Cease from this frantic pleading about dreams not happening. The body sleeps, but the soul can rest in God. As we face afflictions, bereavements, vexations from strangers, plots, the soul fixed on Christ’s commands stands firmer than any rock. Zacchaeus, once a publican, did not beg for visions about his enemies; he welcomed Christ, and immediately the chains of greed and false accusation fell away, and he made restitution. So let Christ’s presence fill your waking hours, and the phantoms of the night will lose their power. Instead of begging that wrong people be kept away, ask God to make you so rooted in love that no wrong person’s words can harm your bond with those you care for. For if your bond is in Christ, it is indissoluble; if it is mere human favor, it was never secure.

Examine also your own heart. You say you did nothing wrong, then let that confidence bring you peace, not a feverish desire for everyone to explain your innocence. Where accusation is false, time and a quiet spirit prove it so. Where it is true, repentance is the medicine, not concealment. And if others have slandered you, forgive freely, as you hope to be forgiven. Do not keep a record of wrongs, not even of dreams. Let no root of bitterness spring up, lest you become the captive of your own grievances.

Therefore, instead of these many words about controlling what others say, go to your inner chamber and pray simply: “Lord, Thou knowest my heart. Thou seest the truth. Establish my feet upon the rock and let no storm of human tongues or nightly fears cast me down. Give me a forgiving spirit and a mouth swift to reconcile. And if I have unknowingly offended, reveal it, that I may amend. But let me not love my reputation more than Thy will.” Such a prayer offered in stillness will do more than a torrent of specific demands.

The enemy delights in sowing terror through dreams and through strained relations. But perfect love casts out fear. Do not obey the nightmare’s suggestion; do not let suspicion become your master. You are not the slave of any wrong person’s opinion. Stand firm, be slow to accuse, eager to make peace, and entrust your blood connections to the God who joined you. He will not suffer the bond to perish if it is rooted in His fear, and if He permits trial, it is to strengthen, not destroy. Let your life be an open defense, and then leave the rest to the unerring judgment of God.

These disturbing dreams weigh heavily on you, and I understand the fear that they might somehow come to pass. Your mind is replaying scenarios of accusation, rejection, and family bonds being severed. But remember, not every thought or image that comes in the night carries the authority of God. Scripture warns us that there are many false voices in the world, and that even in our own hearts deceit can whisper. The enemy often mixes just enough truth with a lie to unsettle us, but we are called to test every spirit, to hold fast to what is true, and to reject what contradicts the faithfulness of our Redeemer.

Your deep desire is for your cousin to stand with you, to see the truth of your innocence, and to protect your blood connection against those who speak against you. That longing mirrors a very ancient and honorable principle. In the story of Boaz, you see a man who stepped forward as a kinsman redeemer, someone who took seriously the duty to preserve a family name and inheritance when it was under threat. He did not abandon his relative; he acted in loyal love. When you pray for your cousin to stick up for his family and not let outsiders ruin the bond, you are asking for something God Himself values: a covering of mercy and truth within a family. God is not the author of confusion or division; He builds walls of protection around what is rightly bound together by blood and faithfulness.

These nightmares, many of them from the same theme, are likely a form of spiritual attack, trying to make you believe that lies will triumph and that those who speak against you will win. But the truth that dwells in God's people is eternal. Jesus said His words are truth, and heaven and earth will pass away, but His truth will never fail. False prophets in every age have risen up to deceive, to accuse, and to create a cloud of suspicion, but in the end God vindicates the righteous. He knows every hidden thing. If you have done nothing wrong, the real danger is not what others falsely say, but whether you will let fear drive you away from trust in God's timing. Hold onto the truth you have received. Walk in that truth, and it will be shown for what it is. The Lord does not need anyone's permission to reveal what is right about you to your cousin; He can do it in a moment, quietly and thoroughly.

Pray for your cousin, yes, but first anchor yourself in the fact that your ultimate protection does not depend on any person. The true Redeemer is Christ, who has bought you and made you part of an unshakeable inheritance. Ask God to calm your heart, to give you peace that remains steady even if the accusations come. Then lift up the relationship honestly: ask the Spirit to work in your cousin’s heart, to give him a love for the truth that is after godliness, not flattery or lies. Pray that he would despise the whisperings of those who sow discord and instead act with the honor of a redeemer for his own flesh and blood. And leave the outcome with God. The Lord can block the voice of any troublemaker, and He can turn a heart overnight.

Rest tonight knowing that God is not silent and that no lie becomes permanent. The Lord Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Cling to Him, and He will guard you and your family bonds more surely than any human defense. Let your sleep be surrendered into His hands, asking Him to replace these harassing dreams with His own perfect peace. I join you in that prayer now.

We want to thank you for trusting us with the heavy burden on your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer these past few days. Those dreams must have been deeply unsettling, and we have lifted each one before the Lord, asking Him to break their power and shield your family from any harm or division. We prayed specifically that God would guard your relationships, reveal truth with love, and move you to a place of peace where those fears cannot take root.

If the Lord has already given you assurance—if the weight of those dreams has lifted or if your cousin has reached out in reconciliation—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we can celebrate with you. If, however, the anxiety lingers or the situation remains unresolved, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, asking God to speak clearly to hearts, to silence false words, and to strengthen the bonds of your family with His truth and love.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, remind you of His faithfulness, and guide every conversation and circumstance according to His perfect will. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
