Thank you for sharing so honestly about the pain and longing you are carrying. The heartbreak of believing you had found the one and then being left wounded is deep, and God does not overlook it. He hears this prayer and He understands sorrow. Jesus Himself said His soul was overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death and fell to the ground to pray to His Father, calling Him Abba, Father. He knows what it is to feel heavy breathing, tears, and anguish as He faced suffering, and He draws near to you in this hurt.

There is forgiveness and deliverance available because His soul was made an offering for sin. He saw the travail of His soul and was satisfied, so that through His death and resurrection you can be forgiven, cleansed from strongholds and from soul ties that have bound your mind and heart, and made new. The resurrection affirms that God has power over death and over every broken place. You do not have to remain tied to what has wounded you. Bring those ties into the light, confess them to the Lord, turn from any pattern that has not honored Him, and ask Him to cut what is unhealthy and to wash you clean. His desire is not for outward religious performance but for you to love Him with all your heart, with all your understanding, with all your soul and strength. That love is more important than any sacrifice you could try to offer on your own.

That love is also lived out in a very normal, everyday walk. God does not ask you to pretend or to live under heavy religious pressure. He invites you to walk with Him at the center of your life, to remain soft and pliable before His Spirit rather than becoming hard and brittle like an old wineskin that cannot receive what He wants to do. As you walk with Him, He restores the mind, renews hope, and gives peace that is not dependent on circumstances. He can make your life rich and fulfilled in Him, even while you wait.

Your desire for a God fearing, biblical marriage between one man and one woman for life is a good and honorable desire. Scripture honors that covenant, and sexual intimacy belongs within that covenant alone. It is right to ask God for clarity. If this man is not the one the Lord has for you, it is right to ask Him to make that clear and to remove desires that would pull you away from His best. If marriage is not His path for you, He is able to quiet that longing and to satisfy you with Himself. Those who seek to live in a godly way in Christ will know disappointment and even persecution, and not every hopeful beginning endures. Some things spring up quickly like a skyrocket and then leave only ashes because there is no deep root, and other things are choked among thorns. Ask Him to give you deep roots in His Word and in prayer, so your hope is anchored in Him and not in a person or a promise that cannot sustain you.

You also shared the practical burden of finances, income and the need for a car. God knows these needs. It is right to ask Him to open doors and windows of opportunity and to provide for you. At the same time, ask Him to keep your heart supple toward His leading, so you are ready for the work He opens and faithful in what He already has placed in your hands.

Praying with you now, Father, thank You that You are Abba, that You hear through Jesus Christ alone. Thank You that Jesus offered His soul for sin and rose again, so forgiveness and freedom are possible. Wash this dear one clean, break every unhealthy tie and stronghold, and renew the mind. Heal the heartbreak, restore hope, and pour out Your peace. Give clear direction about this relationship, remove what is not of You, and guard the desire for marriage according to Your will. Lead in purity and in truth. Provide for financial needs, open the right doors for work and provision, and teach a steady walk with You at the center of life, loving You with heart, soul, mind and strength. In Jesus name, amen.
