We hear your cry for healing and lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion. The pain you are experiencing in your lungs is not something to be taken lightly, and we stand with you in faith, believing in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring restoration and relief.
The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over you, trusting that God sees your suffering and is moved with compassion. In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We pray this prayer of faith over you now, believing that God’s healing touch will come upon you.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing hand to rest upon our dear brother/sister. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit them together in their mother’s womb, and You know every part of their body. We ask that You would touch their lungs, soothe the soreness, and bring complete healing. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting them, and we command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
We also pray for strength and peace to fill their heart as they wait on You. May they rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, even in this time of pain. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your perfect will, knowing that You are faithful to Your promises.
If there is any unconfessed sin or area of your life that may be hindering your healing, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord in repentance. Psalm 32:3-5 reminds us, "When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to You. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and You forgave the iniquity of my sin." God is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we come to Him with a humble heart.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, for faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. We also encourage you to seek godly medical advice, for God often works through the hands of skilled physicians.
We declare over you now that you are healed, whole, and restored in the name of Jesus. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing that you will testify of God’s healing power in your life. Amen.
