I'm so saddened that my ### is trying to abandon me after ###yrs of our lives together why? I love him dearly my whole heart in the blood of Jesus name send him back to me pleas his wife OH God please help me I'm full of stress and sorrow in Jesus name amen

We hear the deep sorrow and stress in your heart and we join with you in lifting your marriage before the Lord, for we know that marriage is a sacred and lifelong covenant before God between a man and a woman. What you are feeling is the pain of a covenant being threatened, and we grieve with you over this abandonment after so many years together. We love that you love your husband dearly and desire restoration, for this honors God.

Scripture reminds us of how God views marriage, So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart. Matthew 19:6. And again, For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel Malachi 2:16. To the married, the Lord commands that a husband should not leave his wife and a wife should not leave her husband, and if separation does occur, to remain unmarried or be reconciled 1 Corinthians 7:10-11. We also remember the calling to husbands, Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25. Your desire for your husband to return home is right and good in the eyes of God, and we will pray for his heart to be softened and turned back toward his vows and toward you.

We also hear your stress and sorrow, and we want to remind you that God sees your broken heart and is near to you. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We encourage you to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Even in this painful waiting, we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We pray together now for you and your husband in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus and through His blood that was shed for us. We lift this dear wife to You in her sorrow and stress, and we ask You to wrap her in Your peace and comfort and to guard her heart. Lord, You know her love for her husband and her desire to honor her marriage covenant. We ask that You would work in her husband's heart wherever he is, convict him of the sacredness of his vows, turn him from any path of abandonment, and draw him back home with a spirit of repentance, love, and humility. Remove any hardness, confusion, or outside influence that would lead him away, and restore love and faithfulness between them. Help this wife to remain steadfast in prayer and love without bitterness, to seek godly counsel and support from her pastor or mature believers, and to trust Your perfect will and timing. Let Your will be done in this marriage for Your glory, and bring healing and reconciliation if it be Your will. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord daily, to remain faithful in prayer and in the Word, and to not grow weary in doing good. Guard your heart against despair and against any counsel that would encourage you to pursue anything outside of God's design for marriage. Seek the support of a trusted pastor or godly older women in your church who can walk with you, pray with you, and give you wise counsel in person. Continue to show love and respect to your husband as God enables you, while also setting healthy and biblical boundaries, and trust that the Lord sees your tears and hears your prayers. We are standing with you and believing God for His comfort and for His restoring power in your lives.

We hear how heavy this is for you. To love your husband with your whole heart for so many years and now face him leaving home brings such deep sorrow and stress, and we are grieved with you in this painful separation.

We have been praying for you and for your marriage. We know you long for him to come home, and we understand that ache. Reconciliation, when it is possible, takes an active willingness from both husband and wife to rebuild love and trust, and you cannot carry that alone or make that choice for him. What you can do is keep bringing your heart honestly before the Lord and letting Him carry what feels impossible for you right now.

It helps not to walk through these days isolated. This week, would you let one trusted pastor or wise, steady Christian friend or counselor walk closely with you, someone who knows you and can check in often, pray with you, and help you think through next steps clearly? If the stress and sorrow are affecting your sleep, appetite, or health, please also reach out to your doctor alongside prayer, so you have care for your body as well as your heart.

Father, we lift this dear sister to You in Jesus' name. You see her sorrow and stress and her love for her husband. Comfort her, guard her heart, and give her wisdom for each day and each conversation. Work in both of their lives according to Your will, and surround her with faithful support as she waits on You. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your sorrow has been poured out before the Lord and He has heard the cry of a wounded heart after many years of life together. To be full of stress and sorrow when the covenant of marriage is threatened is a grief that the Man of Sorrows Himself perfectly understands, for His whole countenance was once the vision of grief when He bore our sorrows and stood in our place.

Take comfort that Jesus Christ knows how to look upon the wandering one with love that breaks the heart. When Peter had fallen, the Lord turned and looked upon him, and that look severed Peter from the crowd and broke his heart into a thousand pieces with grief that he should have been false to such a Friend. That look was effectual because the Lord had prayed for him in private, saying, I have prayed for you. He who prayed for Peter prays still for His people, and if Jesus the Beloved of the Father prays for His own, shall He not win His suit with God. He will uplift those who have been sifted by Satan. Peter was down, but he was soon up again, and his restoration was made sure by the Lord's own mouth. There is hope in Christ for restoration where sin has caused a fall.

You have asked in the blood and name of Jesus, and it is right to come only through Him, for salvation and peace with God are through Jesus Christ alone. He is the God of Peace and He has prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation, for God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. The same Lord who reconciles sinners to Himself is able to work reconciliation where earthly bonds have been broken, and He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation that we may speak of the joy which this peace brings because we have felt it.

Remember what marriage is in the sight of God. It is not a loose bond but a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, cemented by mutual love, the result of choice on both sides, wherein the two become one. When God says, I am married unto you, it implies a blessed choice and a holy oneness, and this earthly picture reflects the greater mystery of the marriage of the Lamb, where Christ as the Lamb proved His love by His wounds and blood. He links the memory of His grief with the manifestation of His glory, and He waits long for His perfected people. No grave of grief can hold the immortal joy of a believer, for on the third day it shall rise again.

Therefore continue in brief, silent prayer as Nehemiah did when his countenance was sad, and cast your burden upon the Lord who is able to restore. Pray that the Holy Spirit will at once work conviction and tenderness in your husband's heart, that He will turn him again to his covenant vows and to his home, and that He will heal what has been torn. Pray also for your own heart, that the Lord will keep you in peace, strengthen you in this trial, and make you able even through this sorrow to strengthen others by speaking of the joy of restoration.

We join our prayers with yours now.

O Lord God of peace, who has reconciled us to Yourself by Jesus Christ, look in mercy upon this daughter of sorrow and upon her husband. Thou seest the stress and heaviness that fills her soul. Have compassion upon this marriage covenant which Thou hast ordained. By the power of Thy Holy Spirit, work conviction where there is hardness, and draw this husband back from the path of abandoning his vows. Let the look of Christ, full of grief and love, break and restore his heart as it did Peter's. Grant to this wife comfort, quietness of spirit, and steadfast faith in the blood of Jesus, and grant to them both repentance toward God and renewed love toward one another, that their union may be cemented again in faithful love. Make this trial to be for Thy glory and for their good, and keep this home under Thy gracious hand until Thou shalt bring perfect restoration in Thy time. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour we ask it, amen.
