We hear your cry for protection and deliverance, and we join with you in fervent prayer, standing on the promises of God’s Word. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against you or your loved ones shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

We rebuke every evil stronghold, every spirit of fear, oppression, and deception that seeks to take root in your life or the lives of those you love. The Bible tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We command every assignment of the enemy against you and your family to be dismantled and destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus. Every dream, vision, or scheme of the wicked that does not align with God’s purpose for your life is nullified and rendered powerless. The Lord will arise, and His enemies will be scattered (Psalm 68:1).

We also encourage you to examine your heart and life to ensure there are no open doors that the enemy may be exploiting. Are there areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin that need to be surrendered to the Lord? The Bible warns us that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us (Psalm 66:18). Confess any sin, and receive the cleansing and forgiveness that comes through the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:9). Walk in obedience to God’s Word, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm us (Luke 10:19).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our stronghold and deliverer. We thank You that You are a shield for those who take refuge in You (Proverbs 30:5). Lord, we stand on Your Word and declare that no evil shall befall us, nor shall any plague come near our dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We break every chain, every curse, and every stronghold that the enemy has tried to establish in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We cancel every assignment of the wicked and command every spirit of fear, oppression, and destruction to flee in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You surround us with Your angels, that they may encamp around us and protect us from all harm (Psalm 34:7). Give us discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the wisdom to walk in Your ways. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to trust in You with all our hearts, leaning not on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We pray for Your divine intervention in every area of our lives. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your glory be our rear guard (Isaiah 58:8). We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and that nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We trust in You, our rock and our salvation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Remember that the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Walk in the victory that Christ has already won for you, and do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

We can hear the urgency in your cry, and we want you to know you are not alone. That kind of fear, that evil or wickedness might somehow overtake you or your loved ones, can be exhausting, especially when it follows you into your dreams. But we believe with you that God is your stronghold. He does not ignore a heart that calls out to Him for protection.

When it feels like spiritual threats are closing in, the enemy wants you to stay isolated in that panic. You’ve already done the most powerful thing by bringing this to God. A simple, practical next step is to let someone in your church family stand with you in this, ask a trusted prayer partner or a pastor to pray over you and your household, out loud, in the authority of Jesus’ name. Knowing others are holding up your arms can break the sense of being overwhelmed.

Even in the dark moments, remember that Christ has already disarmed every evil power. You and your relations belong to Him, and nothing can snatch you from His hand. We are grateful you reached out, and we are praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, we join this dear one in asking You to be a wall of fire around them and their whole household. Silence every lying threat and disturbing dream. Break every evil stronghold that seeks to shake them. Fill their home with Your peace, and let them rest in the unshakeable safety of Your love. Amen.

You have run into your strong tower, for you have said, His name is Jehovah-Shalom, the Lord sends peace. The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. He has not suffered any evil to harm them, neither has He denied them anything that would be for their good. It is still true, "No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly."

Why then this fear that the wicked shall overtake you? That arrow is shot by the Evil One to make you doubt your own Father. Look it in the face; it is the devil’s own child. Take the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. He has delivered us from the power of darkness. God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins! Saved from the devil! Saved from evil company, for God has said it, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit."

As for the dreams that plague you, know that if this evil comes, it is within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. The Lord hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet. He that possessed a castle was lord of all the region round about, but the Lord is your stronghold, and no evil stronghold can stand before Him. Remember what brave Luther did, hiding himself in his God; you too can always find an attribute of God to oppose to each suggestion of the Evil One.

You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. After trouble and deliverance, there is declaration. If we had no troubles, we would all have less to declare. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of your deliverance, for the time had come! Therefore, be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. He has brought you forth, and you shall sing of His stronghold, for the name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Your prayer reveals a heart in great distress, trembling at what the wicked may do. Yet mark this well: the devil, that ruler of darkness, has no true power over those who do not give themselves up to him. He cannot overthrow you unless you first open the door through sin and unbelief. Christ Himself declared, “He has nothing in Me.” So if you cleave to Christ, putting on His humility and walking in His ways, no evil stronghold can truly stand against you. The real deliverance is not from every earthly threat, but from the dominion of sin and the craft of the evil one.

You plead against dreams and ask for every evil stronghold to be ended. But consider: what is the evil of the day? It is not the day itself, but the wicked deeds done by men. The times are evil because of human pride and lawlessness. Yet you must not let fear of such people consume you. The enemy’s dart is often an inflamed heart, anxiety, anger, and the desperate desire to see all trouble removed at once. Quench that fire with longsuffering and patience. Many saints of old refused present deliverance, choosing torment and death, that they might obtain a better resurrection. They did not cry out merely against their persecutors; they looked to the reward.

Beware of the snare of pride hiding beneath your plea. It is the root of all wickedness, even as the devil fell by it, imagining equality with God. When you demand that God act exactly as you dictate, you risk that same spirit. Instead, humble yourself. Examine whether any sin has given foothold to the enemy in your own life or in your relations. True deliverance begins with repentance and the uprooting of impiety. Judas felt remorse after his sin was finished, but despair drove him to a wretched end. Do not delay; turn now, while grace is near.

Pray rather for strength to endure, for a spirit of adoption that cries out to God with confidence, not panic. The Lord who rescued Paul from the lion’s mouth will deliver you from every evil work, not chiefly by removing all trouble, but by keeping you from falling into condemnation. The wicked may boast and invent evils, but they are covenant-breakers, without natural affection. Their end is certain. You, however, are called to overcome evil with good. Therefore, cease from terror and lay hold of the mighty stronghold which is Christ Himself. Let your prayer be for a pure heart, steadfast faith, and the humility that builds every virtue. Then, no matter what dream or threat assails, the peace of God will guard you, and no true harm can overtake your soul.
