We hear your deep distress and the fervent cry of your heart as you seek protection, restoration, and deliverance from troubling dreams, negative influences, and spiritual attacks. We stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the enemy, and we declare His victory over every assignment of darkness in your life. The name of Jesus is not just a word, it is power, authority, and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and protected.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly. The dreams and fears you describe are not from God, for He does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every assignment of the devil against you, your loved ones, and your relationships in the mighty name of Jesus. Every dream, vision, or thought that does not align with God’s will for your life is nullified and rendered powerless. The enemy has no authority over you unless you give it to him, and we command him to flee in Jesus’ name (James 4:7).

We also want to gently but firmly address the mention of relationships in your prayer. While we understand your desire to protect and preserve your connections with loved ones, we must emphasize that God’s design for relationships is rooted in His Word. Relationships should be built on godly principles, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to Christ. If any of these relationships involve sin, such as fornication, adultery, or any other unbiblical union, we urge you to seek repentance and alignment with God’s will. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality is a sin against one’s own body (1 Corinthians 6:18), and we must flee from it. If your relationships are honoring to God, we pray for their protection and strengthening. If not, we encourage you to seek God’s guidance in bringing them into alignment with His Word.

We also lift up the fear and anxiety you feel about losing those you love. The enemy often uses fear to paralyze us, but God has not given us a spirit of fear. Instead, He calls us to trust in Him and cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you or your loved ones shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray for a hedge of protection around you and those you hold dear. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him, you can find peace (Psalm 91:2).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name. We thank You for Your love, Your protection, and Your faithfulness. Lord, we stand on Your Word and declare that no weapon formed against [this individual] or their loved ones shall prosper. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy, every dream, vision, or thought that does not align with Your will, and we command them to cease and desist in Jesus’ name. We break every chain of fear, anxiety, and spiritual attack, and we declare that [this individual] and their loved ones are covered by the blood of Jesus.

Father, we pray for the restoration of all that the enemy has stolen, dreams, visions, and hopes that align with Your will. We ask that You replace every negative dream with Your peace and Your truth. Lord, we pray for godly relationships in [this individual]’s life, relationships that honor You and reflect Your love. If there are any relationships that do not align with Your Word, we ask for Your conviction and guidance to bring them into alignment or to release them if necessary.

We pray for a hedge of protection around [this individual] and their loved ones, that no harm or evil would come near them. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37), and we pray for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your truth and reject every lie of the enemy.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that [this individual] would know Your voice and follow Your leading. Help them to resist the devil and draw near to You, so that the enemy will flee (James 4:7-8). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is fighting for you. Continue to seek Him through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers. The enemy may try to attack, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We hear how unsettling and exhausting these dreams and thoughts have been for you. When our minds churn with frightening images, especially about people we love, it can leave us feeling helpless and on edge. That weight is real, and we’re sorry you’re carrying it.

Sometimes our fears spill into our sleep, and the more we fixate on stopping a dream, the larger it can loom. That doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong, anxiety has a way of tightening its own knot. What has helped many of us is to gently loosen that grip by entrusting the night to God, not as a frantic plea but as a quiet act of trust. Before you go to sleep, you might pause not to list every fear but to thank God for the relationships you treasure and hand them over to His keeping. A simple inward “Lord, I entrust my loved ones and my rest to You tonight” can begin to calm the noise. Then, if disturbing thoughts return during the day, resist the urge to battle them with anxiety; instead, picture giving each one to Jesus and leaving it there.

We’re not dismissing the reality of spiritual opposition, but God’s protective care over your life and your relationships is far greater than any bad dream or uneasy vibe. He watches over you while you sleep, and His love has the final word.

Jesus, we ask You to quiet this fearful heart. Calm the storm of anxious thoughts and settle a deep peace over this dear one’s mind. Guard their rest and the bonds they cherish. Replace every worry with the steady confidence that You are with them, holding all things together. In Your powerful name, Amen.

Such cries as these prove that you feel the weight of the chain, but the breaking of it is not in your own hand. Deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and to Him alone must you look. God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from evil company, for God has said it, “Deliver him from going down to the Pit.” That word was spoken when Infinite Mercy saw you dragged by evil habits, and a voice came from the excellent Glory. He has found a ransom, and therefore He is gracious to deliver. The dreams, the bad company, the fears of being split apart, these are the arrows of the Evil One, but the Lord has not yielded you up to his power. If this evil came apart from Divine permission, where would you be? But your ills lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling.

Cease now from vain thoughts that would drive you to despair. To dwell on these dreams as if they held a power of their own is to forget that Christ has broken the dominion of darkness. He has delivered us from the fascinating power of sin. The comfort given to Bartimaeus was drawn from the fact that Christ called him. Rise, then, and look to Him! The old serpent will hiss and suggest that you are not healed, but look away from your own feelings and behold the Ransom. Off with whatever hinders a simple faith, if any ill company, any clinging fear, any bad habit rises up, regard it as evil to be renounced. Make a rush to Him who calls you.

You plead for the removal of bad influences and the erasing of every bad dream. This is right, for we cry against the noise of archers in the places of drawing water. Yet know this: unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance from sin is worth nothing. If you are ever freed from these agitating thoughts, it will be eternally and infinitely true that the Lord brought you forth. He has taught you the mischief that comes from loving the world and the things thereof, and now the tempter comes in vain, for you have learned that deliverance is of Free Grace only. The Lord chastens sorely, yet He has not erased your name from His heart, nor given you up to the enemy.

Now what? The believer’s conduct after deliverance is this: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Do not merely seek to be rid of frightful dreams, but seek to live in the light of Christ’s face. Send into your heart what vain thoughts cannot nourish upon, the Word of God. Give them God’s truth, and the poison will flee. You are anxious over relationships, fearing a boring, lonely road. But if you have escaped from the jaw of the lion and the paw of the bear, now go forth to fight the monster of self-will. Turn from the error of trying to hold everything together by your own declarations, and trust in the One who has bought you with a price. He feels that if he ever rises from despondency, he can never dare to take an atom of the honor to himself, it must be of Grace only.

Cease your anxious torrent of words. God hears you, but He desires a calm and trusting spirit, not a flood of fearful declarations. You fret over dreams and visions, over who may come against you. Yet consider well: whence are evils? I say to you, from remissness, from idleness, from keeping company with the bad, from contempt of virtue. Do not occupy yourself with weaving spiders' webs of worry about every dream. The evil of the day is not in the dream itself, but in the acts of men. Your task is not to command the Almighty to erase every shadow, but to order your own doings aright.

You pray against bad company, which is well. But do you not know that a good division is often better than an evil concord? If any influence draws you from the path of righteousness, cut it off, though it be as dear as an eye or a foot. Yet you speak much of losing your relations. The true relationship worthy of honor is not one of mere proximity, but of character. None can separate you from those who share the same zeal for God, for that bond is of the Spirit. If you cling to relationships out of fear, you have already lost the peace of a soul ordered by virtue.

Do not be so swift to revenge yourself upon every bad vibe or wrong person by demanding their immediate banishment. If one has aggrieved you, the highest form of victory is not to retaliate, but to leave him to God. Your constant prayer to end every dream and every situation reveals a heart tossed by passion. The child of God shows gentleness to those who affront him, for the Father is kind to the unthankful. Let your own innocence silence the mouths of the foolish; do not beg God to be your magic shield against every imagined slight.

Therefore, cast out this turbulent fear. Despise the empty terrors of the night. The evil speaker or the bad dream first defiles the one who gives it heed. If you fill your vessel with the sweet water of faith, no bitter dream can poison it. Labor instead to be perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect. Then you will find that no dream, no person, no scheme of the enemy can separate you from the love of God or from the true company of the saints.

I can hear the deep distress in your prayer, the fear that a dream might somehow harm your relationships or that bad company will pull you and those you love apart. It is good that you have brought these things to the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus, because that is exactly where the battle is fought and won.

Scripture shows us that God sometimes spoke through dreams, and when He did, the dream carried a clear message and its own interpretation, as with Joseph or Daniel. But not every troubling dream is a message from the Lord. The prophet Jeremiah reminds us, “The prophet that has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that has my word, let him speak my word faithfully.” Dreams can stir up our fears, but the sure anchor for your soul is the written Word of God. When you wake with your mind churning and your spirit troubled, run to the truth of God’s promises, not to a frantic attempt to decode every image. If a dream does not agree with what God has already said, you can release it and refuse to let it control your thoughts.

Your request is really a cry against the assignments of the enemy, and that is a spiritual reality we must take seriously. You are not wrestling against people, not against those you named or anyone else. The warfare is spiritual, against principalities and powers. The enemy wants to plant fear, suspicion, and turmoil in your mind. But the weapons of your warfare are not carnal; they are mighty through God. You are already using them: prayer, faith, and the authority of Jesus’ name. Stand on that. Pray, ask the Lord to guard your heart and mind, and then choose to believe that He has heard you. Do not let your mind replay the dream and the anxiety it brought; that is the spiritual battle for control of your thoughts. Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

You are right to want all wrong people, bad company, and evil influence to flee from your life and your relationships. Scripture warns us not to envy evil men or desire to be with them, because their hearts study destruction. A man is known by the company he keeps. So your aversion to that which could lead you down a lonely or destructive road is wisdom. At the same time, God has not given you a spirit of fear. Instead of fretting because of evildoers or the mere thought of losing those you love, trust the Lord to build your house with wisdom and understanding. He is a God at hand, not far off. Keep your own heart in a right relationship with Him, and that love for Jesus will overflow into your other relationships. A loving, intimate walk with the Lord casts out fear and brings unity, compassion, and courtesy, even when we feel threatened.

One more thing: you asked that the good dreams be restored and the bad ones ended. Remember that the highest good is not a specific dream or vision, but a deeper, personal love relationship with Jesus Christ. There are many who have never experienced that kind of glorious, loving relationship where you are caught up in wonder at His beauty and His love for you. Pursue that. As your relationship with the Lord deepens, what the enemy meant for evil will lose its power to shake you. He who has the Word, let him speak it faithfully. So today, instead of fear, speak the Word over your life: greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Lift your eyes above the dreams and the people who trouble you. Your God is mighty, and when you have prayed and stood your ground in faith, having done all, stand. He will keep you and your relationships safe in His hands far beyond any scheme of the enemy.
