Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord please bless my dad to have the financial provision to but the tickets to travel due to restrictions to be out of the country six months and go back and forth, with all the world problem the tickets are getting super expensive in the timing he and mom need to travel, that have exposed a lot of tension and problems with my mom she is constantly reminds him to but it but she doesn't understand or address the financial issue right now, instead of being a godly woman an supporter she complained all the time and that is exhausting my dad told us that he is just tired and bored of the situation I don't want him to be under so much stress, he needs to take care of his health, plus that this year has been extra difficult because he's sad since my grandpa passed away. Lord please comfort him and please in a miraculously way. Provide for the tickets for both of them and a solution that has been complicated the plans to move from the country in Jesus name I pray amen.

We join you in prayer for your dad and mom and for this heavy burden of financial provision and travel that has been weighing on your family.

We hear your heart for your father, his weariness and stress, his health, and his grief since your grandfather passed away, and we also hear the tension in the home as your parents navigate expensive tickets, travel restrictions, and complicated plans to move. It is good that you are bringing this before the Lord and interceding for them with love and honor.

Scripture reminds us that our Father knows our needs and is our provider. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We can trust Him even when world problems and rising costs make provision seem impossible. He is not limited by economies or restrictions. We also take comfort that He sees your father’s sorrow. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 tells us He is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction. We pray He will comfort your dad in his grief and renew his strength.

We also want to speak gently about the tension between your mom and dad. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God between a man and a woman, and He calls husband and wife to love, honor, and support one another. Ephesians 5:33 says that each husband should love his wife even as himself, and that the wife should respect her husband. Colossians 3:14 says Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. A godly wife is called to a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious in the sight of God as 1 Peter 3:4 teaches, and a husband is called to love with patience and understanding. Complaining and constant reminding, even out of anxiety, can wound a marriage, for Proverbs 15:1 says A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. At the same time, we want to encourage you as their child to continue to honor both your father and your mother even when you see their struggles, as Exodus 20:12 says Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long. Rather than holding resentment toward your mom for her words, we encourage you to cover her in prayer as well, that the Lord would give her peace, understanding, and a supportive spirit, and give your dad grace and patience in return.

We also hear your concern for your dad’s health and stress. The Lord invites us to cast our burdens on Him. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray your dad will be able to rest in that peace and care for his health as he trusts the Lord.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this dear father to You. You see his weariness, his stress over finances and travel, his grief over the loss of his own father, and the exhaustion he feels. Lord, comfort his heart, heal his sorrow, and renew his strength. Guard his health and give him rest. We ask that You would provide miraculously for the tickets and for the travel provision for both him and his wife according to Your riches in glory. Open doors where there seem to be no doors, make a way through the restrictions and complications regarding moving from the country, and grant wisdom for every plan and decision. We pray for this wife and mother, that You would fill her heart with Your peace, take away anxiety and complaining, and clothe her with a gentle and supportive spirit that honors You and encourages her husband. Help them both to speak to one another in love, to bear with one another, and to be united in seeking Your will. Help this family to seek first Your Kingdom and trust that You will add what is needed. We pray for unity, understanding, and provision, and that Your name would be glorified in how You answer. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our only Savior and hope, amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, watching your dad carry so much at once. Financial pressure about the tickets, the back and forth travel requirements, tension at home when your mom presses him, and underneath it all his sadness since your grandpa passed - it makes sense he would feel tired and worn down, and that you would be worried for his health.

Grief has its own timeline and no two people walk through it the same way, and when it sits alongside ongoing stress about money and family conflict, it can leave a person with very little reserve. It is caring of you to notice that and to want to shield him from more strain.

One gentle way we can support him is to make space just to listen. When you have a quiet moment with your dad, letting him talk about how he is doing since his father's passing, without needing to solve the ticket problem in that same conversation, can be a relief. And because you mentioned his health and how exhausted he feels, it would be good to encourage him to check in with his doctor about the stress he is under, alongside our prayers for him.

We also understand the tension between your parents right now. Sometimes helping them look at practical options together at a calm moment, like comparing dates or prices or talking through what is possible right now, can lower the daily reminders that wear on everyone.

Father, we lift this dad to You, his grief, his tiredness, and the weight he feels to provide. Give him rest, comfort in his sadness, wisdom for next steps, and peace in his home. Provide for what this family truly needs according to Your will and draw them closer to You and to each other. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to show mercy to your father and your mother and to your household in this season of heaviness.

We are moved by the burdens you have named, the rising cost of travel, the necessity laid upon your parents to go back and forth, the tension that has grown between them, the weariness and sadness that rests upon your father as he grieves his own father and feels the weight of care for his health. These are trials common to man, and yet to those who bear them they feel peculiar and pressing. Hear the comfort of the Word, for God says, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people. He does not comfort by a distant word only, but He quickens the soul by His Spirit through His Word, and so gives a comfort that can be pressed to the bosom in affliction. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your Word has quickened me.

We pray that the Lord, who is faithful and will not suffer you to be tempted above what you are able, will in His wise providence provide for what is needful. He who knows the cost of every ticket and the limits of every purse has power to limit the trial and with the temptation to make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it. We ask Him to open doors for provision in a way that is clearly His hand, to grant wisdom for the plans concerning moving and travel, and to give your father renewed strength of body and peace of mind. May the Lord comfort his heart as one who mourns, and remind him that though the servant must for a season walk as his Master walked, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, yet joy comes and sorrow shall be remembered as waters that pass away.

For the strain within the home, we pray that the Lord will establish your parents in every good word and work, granting not comfort alone but constancy. Where complaint has wearied and where stress has made your father to say he is tired and bored of the situation, we ask God to pour out grace that each may bear the other's burden and so fulfil the law of Christ. It is little prayer that brings us low, and it is great prayer that lifts us up, therefore we exhort you to continue in believing prayer for your mother that she may be strengthened to be a supporter and helper, and for your father that he may be upheld with patience and tenderness, both looking to Christ who alone can knit hearts together in love.

Let us pray together. O Father, even our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, look upon this family. Thou knowest their need for daily bread and for provision to travel according to the restrictions laid upon them. Thou knowest the grief of a son who has lost his father, and the exhaustion of a man who bears responsibility for his household. Comfort their hearts and establish them. Quicken them by Thy Word. Provide what Thou seest to be best, and if it be Thy will to withhold for a season, give grace to bear it and to wait upon Thee. Teach them to cast all their care upon Thee, for Thou carest for them. Grant healing and health as it pleases Thee, soften words that wound, and let peace reign in their home, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we ask it. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
