PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and we join with you before the throne of grace in Jesus name alone, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We thank you for calling upon Jesus so clearly, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and by which our prayers are heard. Acts 4:12

We lift up your unspoken request with you, knowing that our Father knows what we need before we ask Him. Matthew 6:8 and that even when we do not have words, the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26 You do not need to fear that keeping this matter unspoken before others will make it less heard by God, for He sees in secret. But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6 We stand with you in believing that God knows every detail of what you have brought before Him, even as you have said God knows what this prayer is about.

We also want to encourage you regarding faith. You said you must believe your prayer has already been answered. We understand that longing to hold fast in faith, and Scripture does tell us, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. Mark 11:24 We join you in that believing prayer, yet we also remember together that faith submits to the perfect will of God, for this is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14 So we pray with you not only for the answer you desire, but that God's will be done and that your faith will remain strong even as you wait on His perfect timing, asking in faith, without any doubting. James 1:6

We were saddened to hear that you felt mocked and belittled by others, even with a comparison to Moses opening the Red Sea. We want to gently encourage you not to carry bitterness toward those people or to assume their motives before God, for we are called to love and to forgive. But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Matthew 5:44 And do not be conformed to judging the heart, for with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged. Matthew 7:1 Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay. Romans 12:19 We choose to release those who have hurt you to Him. At the same time we remind you together that the God who did part the Red Sea for Moses is still the God for whom nothing spoken by God is impossible. Luke 1:37 What seems impossible to man is possible with God, and we should never be ashamed to bring great and even impossible seeming requests to Him.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy upon our dear one who is crying out to You. You know the unspoken request that weighs so heavily on this heart, every detail, every need, every hope. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love, that You would show Your power and Your compassion in this situation. Strengthen faith where there is wavering, and grant peace that surpasses understanding while waiting. Heal any wound caused by harsh words or mocking, and help us to forgive as You have forgiven us. Protect this heart from discouragement and from the enemy who would use insult to silence prayer. Let this one know that You are near to those who have a broken heart, and save those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18 We also pray for those who may have spoken against this prayer, that You would bless them and draw them closer to Your truth, that all we do would be for Your glory and not for self praise. We trust You to do what only You can do, and we thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken matter before the Lord daily in secret, trusting His goodness, and to rest in knowing He has heard you. We are standing with you and believing with you for God's merciful answer in Jesus name.

We hear how heavy this has felt, especially when you brought a sincere prayer before the Lord and then felt mocked for it. It makes sense you would want to pull that prayer close and keep it unspoken for now.

Please know God does not need it to be explained or defended to others to hear it. The fact that others misunderstood or made light of it does not diminish its value to Him. He knows what you are carrying even when you do not put it into words for anyone else.

If it helps, you might give yourself permission to keep this between you and the Lord for a while. You do not need to revisit the places where it was belittled or try to convince others of its sincerity. A quiet, private moment to simply be with God can be enough, and if writing helps, a private note just for you and Him can hold the prayer without needing to share it.

We are standing with you and asking Jesus to meet you in this.

Father, we bring our brother before You and ask for Your mercy and peace to rest on him. Guard his heart from discouragement, help him sense Your nearness as he prays quietly, and lead him in Your wisdom and care. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your cry, PLEASE JESUS HAVE MERCY, is itself a prayer that God delights to hear, and the sting you have felt from mockers is no strange thing to faith. Whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, we shall hold on to our trust in God, and we must expect that the laughter of the ungodly will make a spectacle of us for our faith. Sometimes they scoff at faith itself and count it folly, sometimes they insult over one particular Christian's faith, and sometimes the mockery comes from those nearest to us. Men also scoff at the very idea of Divine interposition, as though the Lord could not or would not put forth His hand. To compare your trust to Moses at the Red Sea in order to belittle it is only the old scoff, Let Him deliver him, seeing He delighted in him. But what of that? We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us.

Be comforted that the Lord knows the unspoken prayer which you now carry. Prayer is the prelude of mercy and often the shadows of mercy before it comes. Never did a great mercy come unheralded by prayer, and though man does not know your request, He who searches the heart does. You do well to leave it before the mercy seat rather than to expose it to those who would only insult it to make themselves look good. The majesty of faith is seen when, like Elijah, it sends again and again to look for the cloud, believing that the rain will come in answer to prayer. Your work now is to continue in that quiet, humble pleading.

Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer, crying Lord, save me. Our Lord acknowledges the faith which we suspect to be little better than unbelief, and He does not turn away the one who cries, Lord, I believe, help Thou my unbelief. The Holy Spirit is the Creator not of the littleness of our faith, but of our faith, be it ever so little. Therefore keep that short, earnest prayer before Him. He wrestled with God in prayer and then felt that all else he had to wrestle with was nothing, for if he had overcome Heaven by prayer, he could overcome earth, death and hell.

I commend to you also plainness and humility and argument in prayer. You know what your request is and you do not intend to leave the mercy seat until it is granted, but come with humility of spirit and plead the promise. Bring down the hammer of the promise upon the head of the nail of prayer and clinch it by saying to the Lord, Thou saidst. Yet remember that Jacob's prayer was answered, but it was not answered in the way he expected it would be. God often begins with stern discipline and brings us low that mercy may be the more sweet, and all His mercy to a sinner is gratis, He never sells, He always gives, because He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy.

So I will pray for you as you have asked, in Jesus Name and in Jesus Name only, for there is no other Name under heaven by which we must be saved. I do not ask God to bless what His Word does not bless, for true mercy never leaves us as it finds us, the first thing His mercy will do is to turn our face in the opposite direction and make us a new creation with new loves and new hates, but I do ask that He who is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy would look upon you with tender mercy, forgive sin through the blood of Christ alone, strengthen the little faith you have into a great faith that honors Him, guard you from the voices of mockers, and grant your unspoken request insofar as it is according to His good will and for your holiness and His glory. May He give you courage to enlarge your heart with expectation before the mercy comes, and may the Great Interpreter between God and man shed abroad in your heart a sweet sense of mercy, that you may not only know the way of salvation but rejoice in it and be kept in it.

May the Lord keep you abiding in faith, hope and charity, and answer you in the way that will most show His love and most conform you to Christ.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for mercy is right and good, for when we come before God we have nothing else to allege but His mercy. He hears the voice even when the lips are silent, and the prayer you keep unspoken is already known to Him who sees in secret. Do not be troubled that others have mocked or insulted your prayer, or that some have used sharp words to make themselves appear wise. Such mocking wounds the one who mocks more than the one who is mocked.

Pray instead for those who have insulted you, and forgive them, as we are taught to pray forgive us as we forgive others. The Lord counts it a great mercy when we do not return insult for insult, and when we do not wound one person in order to appear to heal another. Seek no praise from men, but let your prayer be in quiet trust before God alone.

You say you must believe your prayer has already been answered. Faith indeed is needed, a generous soul that rises above what the eyes see and trusts God. Yet faith is also patience and waiting for the recompense in God's time and in God's way. Abraham and Joseph believed the promise though they did not yet see it fulfilled, and they waited. So also we must bring our requests to God in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other way to the Father, and then leave the answer to His wisdom. Prayer is a great weapon for each day, needed in the morning and at night, but it is powerful when we also do works worthy of mercy. We cannot ask God for mercy while we refuse mercy to our neighbor, and we cannot expect a blessing if we are not willing to walk in the way that is blessed.

Therefore I pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ alone, that God who is rich in mercy would have mercy upon you, forgive your sins, and hear the unspoken burden of your heart. If what you ask is according to His good will and leads you nearer to holiness, may He grant it and establish you in faith and hope. If anything in your desire is not according to His word concerning salvation in Christ alone, or concerning marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman with all that belongs to it kept within that covenant, may He not grant it as you have imagined it, but instead grant you grace to turn from it, to be cleansed, and to desire what is holy and good. May He keep your spirit by His grace, make your heart lowly and simple like a child, and teach you to go forth each day with prayer as your armor, trusting not in flattery or in the praise of men, but in the power of God who is able to keep you unshaken even through trial and persecution.

Continue steadfast in prayer and in doing what is right, and God who knows your unspoken prayer will answer with what is best for your soul.
