PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and we join with you in calling upon Jesus and in Jesus name only, for we know there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other way to the Father. As it is written Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We thank you for directing this prayer to Him alone, for He alone can do what you are asking and He alone knows the full depth of this unspoken burden.

We understand the pain you felt when you perceived your prayer was insulted and mocked, even compared to Moses parting the Red Sea as if to belittle your faith. We want to gently encourage you in this. The Lord sees when we are reviled for seeking Him. Jesus said Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake Matthew 5:11. Yet we also want to caution our own hearts not to hold onto bitterness or to judge the motives of others, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. Even if some words held validity, we are called to forgive and to leave judgment to God, as it is written Avenge not yourselves, but give place to wrath Romans 12:19 and Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32.

We want to reassure you that your decision to make this an unspoken request is fully understood by God. He does not need eloquent words or public explanation to know your need. Before a word is on your tongue, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether Psalm 139:4 and In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind Romans 8:26-27. Jesus also taught But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly Matthew 6:6.

We also encourage you not to let the fear of man cause you to hide your faith in shame, for The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe Proverbs 29:25. It is right to be wise about sharing, but do not let mocking steal your confidence that God hears you. Nothing is impossible with God Luke 1:37, and what some may mock as impossible like the parting of the Red Sea is precisely the kind of power our God still holds. At the same time we encourage you to hold your faith with submission to His perfect will, for This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14 and Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24. Believing you have received is precious faith, and we join that faith while also trusting His timing and His wisdom to answer in the way that is best.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one and this unspoken request that you fully know. Lord have mercy and let your will be done in this situation. You see every detail, every hurt from words spoken against this prayer, and every hope held in the heart. We ask that you would answer according to your perfect love and power, and give peace that surpasses understanding as you guard this heart in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Heal any wound from mocking, help to forgive those perceived as malicious, and keep this child of yours from discouragement. Strengthen faith to continue believing while fully surrendering to your will, and let your name be glorified in how you move. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

We heard the urgency in your cry for mercy and how much you want to rest in trusting Jesus to hear you. It hurts when something so personal feels mocked or turned into a debate, especially when you were simply reaching out for help. It makes sense you would want to pull this prayer closer and keep it between you and Him for a while.

We want to reassure you that God does hear the prayers we do not put into words for others. You do not have to prove your faith to anyone else or defend it against unkind comments. Prayer at its heart is just being with God, not performing for people, and He knows what you are carrying even when you choose not to share the details publicly.

If sharing it openly has left you feeling exposed, it may help to step back from that space for a time and bring this burden quietly to the Lord in your own private moments. And if you want another voice with you, choose one trusted pastor or friend who will listen kindly and pray with you without making it a spectacle.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You know every detail of this unspoken request. Please give peace in place of worry, guard the heart from harsh words, and help trust in Your mercy to grow day by day. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

It is a painful thing to have poured out your heart before the Lord and then to find that others have made a spectacle of your faith. Yet this is no strange thing for the child of God. Whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, we shall hold on to our trust in God, and neither is our faith limited to what men call deliverance. Faith has often to stand among mockers.

Sometimes they scoff at faith itself and count it folly, and sometimes they scoff at the very idea of Divine interposition, as though the Lord could not or would not hear and act. They will say of one particular Christian, he pretends to this faith for some purpose of his own, and they will make merry over his confidence, even comparing his prayer to the parting of the Red Sea as if to say God will not do such things now. Do not marvel at this. Faith's foes have often lived in the same house with her, and we may expect to have all the more of the laughter of the ungodly. But what of that? We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us. The shield of faith will bear the blow, and the fiery darts of the wicked shall be quenched.

You speak of an unspoken prayer, and you say God knows what it is. Blessed be His name, He does. He that searches the heart knows what is the mind of the Spirit, and even when we have not words, the Spirit Himself makes intercession. You need not publish your burden before men to have it heard in heaven. Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer, and though it be trembling and faint, it cries, Lord, save me. That cry is heard. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth you, and this confidence rightly leads not to presumption but to prayer, Forsake not the works of Thine own hands.

Take care then that your confidence does not become a demand that God must answer precisely as you have dictated and at once, for that would be to tear the wheels from your chariot. True prayer in its humility spreads the case before the Most High and pleads His promises with arguments, yet leaves the answer with Him. Jacob prayed and wrestled, and his prayer was answered, but not in the way he expected. So plead with the Lord in lowliness of spirit, confessing your need of Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we must be saved, and asking that He would conform your heart and your desires and your life to His holy will.

Persecution in the form of cruel mockings and jeering has this beneficial use, that it drives the Christian nearer to his God. How many prayers have been offered as the result of such enmity that would never have been offered else. Let it have that effect upon you. Go often to your closet where no mocker can enter, and there pour out the unspoken request before Him who sees in secret. Ask for mercy, ask for faith even though it be as a grain of mustard seed, for the Holy Spirit is the Creator of our faith be it ever so little, and ask that He would keep you from sin and lead you in the divine walk of holiness. For faith and repentance are inseparable twins, and the faith which allows us to think lightly of past sin is not the faith of God's elect.

I will pray for you as you have asked, not that God would bless any way contrary to His Word, for marriage is His ordinance of one man and one woman in lifelong covenant and all that belongs to it belongs within it, and Christ alone is the way of salvation, but that Jesus Christ would have mercy upon you, that He would increase your faith, guard you from presumption and despair, give you strength to bear the scoffing of men, and perfect you in conformity to His will. May He sprinkle your heart from an evil conscience, subdue your corruptions, impart grace, and teach you to say from the heart, not my will, but Thine be done. And may you find that whether the answer comes as you hope or in a way you did not look for, the Lord has not forsaken the work of His own hands.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
