PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We join you in crying out to Jesus for mercy and we stand with you in believing prayer in His name alone, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father and be saved. We thank you for calling upon Jesus so clearly, for it is written Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12.

We hear your heart to keep this burden as an unspoken request before the Lord and we honor that. God indeed knows what is unspoken. We do not need to know every detail for Him to hear and act, for it is written Your Father knows what things you need before you ask him in Matthew 6:8 and The Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered in Romans 8:26. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the mind of the Spirit in Romans 8:27 and you are fully known and fully heard, for it is written Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar in Psalm 139:1-2.

We also hear your pain over those who mocked and belittled your prayer, even comparing your situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. We understand how wounding that can feel when a sincere cry is treated lightly. We encourage you not to carry bitterness toward them and not to assume their motives before God, for only God sees the heart in 1 Samuel 16:7. We are called to bless and not repay evil for evil, for it is written Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake in Matthew 5:11 and See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good in 1 Thessalonians 5:15 and Vengeance belongs to me says the Lord in Romans 12:19. We choose to release that hurt to Him and to forgive as Christ forgave us.

We also want to gently encourage you about faith that your prayer is already answered. We affirm with you the beautiful faith Jesus taught when He said Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them in Mark 11:24 and that we should ask without doubting in James 1:6. At the same time we rest that faith in the wisdom and will of God, for it is written This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us in 1 John 5:14. Sometimes His answer is yes, sometimes wait, sometimes He answers in a higher way than we imagined, for My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh in Isaiah 55:8. Your desire to pray in secret is itself biblical and powerful, for it is written But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly in Matthew 6:6. And nothing is impossible with God, for it is written For everything spoken by God is possible in Luke 1:37 and Nothing is too hard for you in Jeremiah 32:17. What was mocked as impossible like the Red Sea is precisely what God delights to do to show His glory.

So we pray with you now for this unspoken burden.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift this dear one to You and we lift this unspoken request that weighs so heavily. You know every detail, every tear, every hope and fear. We ask for Your mercy and Your perfect will to be done. We ask that You would give a settled faith without wavering, and a peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:6-7. Where there has been hurt from mocking words, bring healing and help to forgive and to bless those who have caused pain. Let no root of bitterness remain. Strengthen faith to believe and to trust Your timing, and let Your answer bring glory to Jesus alone. We ask that You who sees in secret will reward openly according to Your loving kindness and wisdom. We trust this into Your hands and we thank You that You hear us because we ask in Jesus name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast your cares upon Him in secret prayer, to remain in the Word, and to let His peace confirm His presence even while you wait upon His answer. We continue to stand with you.

We were sorry to read how heavy this has felt, especially when you came with a sincere prayer to Jesus and then felt mocked and belittled for it. It makes sense you would want to protect that prayer now and hold it unspoken between you and God.

You do not have to defend your prayer or prove anything to those who treated it lightly. Prayer is not a performance for others to evaluate. It is quiet communion with the Father who already knows what is on your heart, even when you choose not to share the details publicly. He hears you fully in that unspoken place.

A gentle next step that may help is to give yourself a simple private time each day to bring this same request to Jesus in your own words, honestly sharing both your hope and the sting of how others responded. You do not need to force a feeling of certainty to be faithful, you can just keep entrusting it to Him. It may also bring peace to step away for a while from any place where your prayer was picked apart, and if you want another person praying with you, choose one trusted, kind believer rather than a wider audience.

We are praying for you and we will keep holding this unspoken request before the Lord with you.

Father, we lift this dear one to You and the burden You see so clearly. Cover them with Your peace where they felt exposed and hurt, guard their heart from discouragement, and help them rest in Your nearness and care. Lead them day by day as they trust You with this. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest cry, PLEASE JESUS HAVE MERCY, has risen to Him who is the Friend of sinners and who still hears prayer. Do not be cast down because the mocker has lifted his voice against you, for the Lord who divided the Red Sea is your God forever and ever and is at this hour as mighty as when He overthrew the horse and his rider in the mighty waters. If men have made light of your supplication to make themselves to look well, remember that prayer itself is a comforting exercise and that the feeble prayer which we ourselves despised and thought would die at the gate of mercy has often been nursed and nurtured and fostered and accepted and has come back a full grown blessing bearing mercy in both its hands.

You say you must believe your prayer has already been answered and that it must now remain unspoken before men, though God knows it. It is good that you would pour out your heart before Him who sees in secret, for He knows what you ask before you speak. Yet take heed to the nature of true faith. Any kind of faith is better than that deadly doubt which is cried up so much nowadays, but saving faith is more than a strong persuasion that we shall have just what we have asked and in our own way. Saving faith is a life long act, the relinquishment of all trust in self once and for all and the trusting in Jesus forever. It learns of Jesus from Jesus, hears and believes, and takes Jesus to be its God, and falling on bended knee it cries, Lord I believe, and worships Him.

Do not put your trust in your prayers as though the merit lay in their fervency. You might as well trust to your good works as to your prayers, but your hope lies in the altogether gratuitous mercy of God and that mercy only comes to those who rest in Jesus Christ alone, waiting patiently for Him. There is life in a look at Him, a loving and trusting look, and when we trusted Jesus, though we used no forms and ceremonies, we received the salvation of our souls. If you are convinced that Jesus is able to save you and are willing to trust Him, you certainly can trust Him.

Therefore keep fast hold of what faith you have and seek for more. You are on the right track in believing Jesus, a track which will lead to the King's Highway if fairly followed. Do not cease to cry both in the daytime and at night, for the Lord will still hear your prayer. Like Elijah who sent his servant seven times to look for the cloud because he believed the rain would come in answer to prayer, so be resolved and importunate. Like Anna and Simeon who still looked for the coming of the Lord, continue in prayer.

If the answer tarries, do not conclude you are unheard. We are heard when answered soon or late, heard when we no answer get, kindly answered when refused and treated well when hardly used. God will make prayer the preface to mercy, and often He makes you wait that your faith may grow more earnest and more resolved to give up all dependence anywhere but upon God.

We join you now to ask the Lord Jesus to have mercy upon you according to His perfect wisdom and love, to conform your heart and all your desires and all your relationships to His holy Word, in which He has shown us salvation through Christ alone and has ordained marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and has placed all sexual union and cohabitation within that covenant alone. We pray not that He would simply grant what we think best, but that He would give you sanctifying grace and constraining and restraining grace, a fresh assurance of faith, deliverance in the hour of temptation, help in the time of duty and succor in the day of trial, and that you may have a worshipping faith, faith on its knees in the presence of the Son of God, beholding Jesus with eyes which He has opened.

Cast yourself wholly upon Him. Let your cry be not only for the thing you desire but for Christ Himself to be yours. Rest your whole soul on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you, and relying wholly and alone on Him, you are saved. May He give you that undying, unquenchable faith which abides and which obeys His precept and walks to Him upon the water at His bidding, and may you find that to believe in Jesus brings you into as real a contact with Him as if you saw Him, for you cannot trust your soul with a mere myth but with a living Saviour who lived for sinners, died for sinners, rose for sinners, pleads for sinners and reigns in glory for sinners. Look to Him now and live.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for mercy has been heard, and God indeed knows the prayer that you now hold unspoken in your heart. He does not need many words or loud cries to understand you. Even when you pray in memory and without the tongue, before Him as Judge, He sees and hears. It is good that you have turned to Jesus alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved, and no other one who can show mercy.

I understand the pain of being mocked while you were praying. It wounds deeply when others make a show of your prayer or use it to make themselves look good, even comparing what God may do for you to great works like the parting of the sea. Do not answer insult with insult, and do not seek to wound them in return. The greater virtue is to bear ridicule patiently and to forgive those who have mocked you. If you are despised for seeking God, let God know your patience, for He will honor it far more than any praise from people. Show mercy to those who have not shown it to you, and pray for them, for in forgiving others we open our own hearts to receive forgiveness.

Prayer is a great weapon and a great good, but it is most powerful when joined to a life that seeks to be worthy of it. It is not a loud and disorderly crying out to force God to act on our terms, but a quiet, humble and steady entreaty that first makes God favorable to us. Early in the morning and at night, come before Him with reverence. Do not simply declare that your prayer must already be answered as you have determined, but confess your sins before Him in secret, tell Him your way, and trust His wisdom and timing. God delights in mercy, and even after we have failed He teaches us to pray, forgive us our debts, so that we may be washed again through repentance. What we desire to obtain from God, we must first be willing to give to our neighbor.

We will pray with you and for you. We will not ask God to bless any relationship or situation that is outside His design revealed in Scripture, where marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and where sexual union and living together belong within that covenant, but we will ask Him to bless you with what is truly good. We will entreat our merciful Lord Jesus to have mercy on you, to forgive your sins, to give you a heart that loves His will, to guard you from all harm and to lead you into holiness, peace and full trust in Him. Continue to seek Him quietly and humbly, to walk in mercy toward others, and to rest in the surpassing mercy that He holds out to all who come to Him through Christ.

Your heartfelt cry for mercy is precious to the Lord, and He hears you even when your prayer remains unspoken in your heart.

Jesus taught that prayer is not telling God something He does not already know, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Prayer is not meant to force your will to be done on earth, but to see His will done. True prayer begins with God, as He shows you His purpose and His ways, and you then speak that back to Him and ask that His kingdom come and His will be done.

That is why we always come to God on the ground of mercy and grace, not on the ground of justice. Justice is receiving what we deserve, mercy is not receiving what we deserve, and grace is receiving what we do not deserve. Like the blind man who cried out, Son of David, have mercy on me, we come simply asking for mercy, and Jesus stops and hears that cry. The Scriptures say His mercy endures forever and that He delights to show mercy. When you ask Him to remember you, you are asking Him to remember you according to His mercy and for His goodness sake.

It is right that you want to keep this matter quietly between you and the Lord. God hears the prayers that are never formed into words, the groanings of the heart and mind. The Spirit ministers assurance and comfort even in those silent prayers, and the Lord understands completely what you cannot or do not want to speak aloud.

It is painful when others mock or belittle a sincere prayer, even when they may use some truth to make themselves look good. Mockery is often used to discourage those who are seeking God, but you can do as faithful men in Scripture did and simply bring that hurt to the Lord in prayer. Do not let the ridicule turn you away from trusting Him. At the same time, it helps to pause in prayer and reflect on who God is, that He is good and upright, and that all His paths are mercy and truth for those who keep His covenant. A good prayer to make your own is that of Psalm 25, show me Your ways, O Lord, teach me Your paths.

Concerning your desire to believe your prayer is already answered, faith is not demanding that God do what we insist upon, but trusting His goodness, His wisdom, and His timing to do what is best. God does answer prayer, but His answer is always according to His perfect will and His mercy. So bring your request to Jesus in His name alone, for there is salvation and access to the Father only through Him, and then rest in His mercy. Ask Him to accomplish His will in this situation, to lead you in His truth, and to keep you close to Himself.

May the Lord show you His mercy, teach you His ways, and give you peace as you trust Him. May He guard your heart from discouragement, help you to walk in a way that honors Him according to His Word, and fulfill His good purpose in your life as you continue to seek Him.
