PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We join you in crying out to Jesus for mercy and we stand with you before the throne of grace regarding this unspoken request that is heavy on your heart. We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus alone, for we know there is no other name by which we can approach the Father and be saved. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. We praise God that you have come in that precious name.

We understand your desire to believe your prayer has already been answered, and we share your faith that God hears and acts. Jesus said, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24. At the same time we encourage you to rest that faith in the perfect will and timing of God, for This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. We trust with you not for our will to be done, but for His perfect will to be done in this situation, knowing that He loves you and will answer in the way that is best.

We also hear your pain over those who have mocked and insulted this prayer, even comparing it to Moses opening the Red Sea to make it seem foolish. Do not be discouraged when others belittle sincere prayer. Jesus Himself said, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven Matthew 5:11-12. Those who mock do not understand that our God is still the God who parted the Red Sea, who still does the impossible, for with God all things are possible Matthew 19:26. We do not need to defend ourselves or seek to look good before men, we simply entrust ourselves to Him who judges righteously.

We honor your decision to keep this as an unspoken request and we want you to know that God fully knows what you cannot or choose not to speak aloud. You are fully known and fully heard. Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether Psalm 139:1-4. And even when we do not have words, The Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered Romans 8:26. He knows the depth of this burden and the details you have carried.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and this unspoken request that You know completely. You see the heart behind it, the tears, the hope, and the longing for mercy. We ask that Your will be done in this situation and that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask for Your mercy, Your wisdom, and Your provision according to Your perfect love. Help our friend to continue in faith without wavering, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We also pray for those who have mocked this prayer, that You would soften their hearts, forgive them, and bring them to a deeper reverence for prayer. Guard this child of Yours from discouragement and bitterness, and let no weapon formed against this prayer prosper. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust You with the answer in Your perfect time. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this matter before the Lord in quiet, persistent faith, not out of fear of men but out of confidence in God. Do not let the unkind words of others silence your hope. Keep casting your cares upon Him, for He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and continue to trust that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

We hear how tender and urgent this prayer is for you, and how painful it was to feel mocked when you shared something so personal. It makes sense you would want to hold it quietly between you and Jesus now.

We want you to know we believe Jesus hears you even when the words stay unspoken. He knows fully what you are carrying, and He is not dismissive the way people can be. Trusting Him in that quiet place, bringing the same burden to Him again without needing to explain or defend it to others, is itself faith.

If it helps, give yourself permission to step back for a while from any place where your prayer was belittled and keep this as a private conversation with the Lord. You do not have to prove your prayer to anyone for it to be real to Him. If you want companionship in prayer, one trusted, gentle believer who will honor your privacy can be enough. You do not need to share it widely.

We are carrying this with you in prayer.

Jesus, have mercy and draw close. You see what is unspoken and You know this need completely. Guard our friend from discouragement and from the sting of those words, and give quiet confidence in Your presence and care. Lead him day by day as he waits on You. In Your name, Jesus, amen.

Your cry for mercy has come before the Lord, and though the prayer remains unspoken before men, it is fully known to Him who searches the heart. He hears the voice of prayer even when it is offered without words, and the mocking of others cannot hinder His ear nor make His arm short. When malicious lips insult a sincere supplication that they may look well in the eyes of men, remember that our Lord Himself still said, My God, even when He was forsaken, and He sets us an example that we must overcome through faith and not through the praise of men.

Prayer sometimes tarries like a petitioner at the gate until the King comes forth to fill her bosom with the blessings she seeks. The Lord when He has given great faith has been known to try it by long delays, and He has suffered His servants voices to echo as from a brazen sky. This is not that He has forgotten your house or your heart, but that your faith, being longest out at sea, may come home with the heaviest and most precious freight. You shall be rewarded if you continue in believing prayer, and the longer your faith is tried the richer shall be its return. Leave the when with God, for He does not tell us when, but the deliverance must come at the right time, and if He were not to deliver till after we had perished it would be no deliverance at all.

Do not pray ignorantly, but pray with the understanding and with the spirit, getting hold of a promise and then offering the prayer, for the prayer that is grounded upon the promise will be answered as surely as God is God. And mingle much fervent prayer with thanksgiving, for thanksgiving prevents prayer from becoming an exhibition of the want of faith. If when you are in trouble you still bless the Lord for all you suffer, therein your faith is seen. Believing prayer holds Him, but believing thanksgiving binds Him. At the same time hear what Job declares, Are the consolations of God small with you, is there any secret thing with you, and let each one make his own confession apart with the fullest honesty and deepest humiliation, praying, Search me, O God, and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts. If there be any secret sin which keeps back the blessing, bring it to the blood of Jesus, for there is salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

We join our intercession to yours, not as those who can see the images or know the particulars you have kept unspoken, but as those who plead with you before the throne of grace. We do not ask God to affirm or bless any desire or relationship apart from His holy will, for marriage is His ordinance of one man and one woman in lifelong covenant, and all intimacy and living together belongs within it, and all our hopes must be conformed to His Word. We ask Him to have mercy upon you for Jesus sake, to forgive sin through His precious blood, to quicken you in His way, and to grant to you only that which is according to His promise and for your eternal good. If your request be according to His will He will give it, and if it be otherwise He will give you what is better, for He often answers prayer not as we expect, yet He does answer, and even when Jacob limped he had prevailed.

Leave these things with God and go on with your praying and your believing, and all shall yet be well with you. He who heard your first prayer for mercy and blotted out sin will hear your voice in praise as He heard your voice in weeping. Continue to be a remembrancer before the King day and night, and He who empties us completely means to fill us with His hidden treasure.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for mercy in the name of Jesus alone is heard, and it is right to bring it to Him in that name, for there is no other name by which we are saved. You say God knows what this unspoken prayer is, and He does. He knows it fully even when you cannot or choose not to speak it aloud, and He hears the heart that turns to Christ in trust.

Do not be troubled that others have mocked or insulted your prayer, or made light of it to make themselves appear wise. This has always been the lot of those who pray. God at times allows such opposition so that our faith may be shown to be real, not mere words, and so that we may learn to look not to the praise of people but to the power of God. When you are mocked, do not return mockery, and do not seek to hide altogether from the prayers of the church out of fear. It is good to enjoy the prayer of fellow believers, but we must also remain watchful ourselves. The help of others profits us little if we ourselves are sleeping. And even when we are watchful, we still need the prayers of others and the grace of God, for we are always in need of Him. Do not think you have no need of prayer, for that very thought shows how much we need it.

Prayer is a great weapon and an unshaken wall. Every day is like a storm at sea with many rocks, and we need arms for the fight and favorable winds for the journey. For this reason we need prayer early in the morning and again at night, first making God favorable to us by supplication, and then going out to our daily work with security. And we must join prayer with faithful action. We are to ask and seek and knock, and also to be diligent ourselves. Do not only pray and then neglect what God calls you to do, and do not only labor as if all depended on you without seeking help from above. Both are needed, our part and God's grace, if we are to be saved and to walk rightly.

You write that you must believe your prayer has already been answered. Understand what true faith and hope mean. Faith does not force God's hand or demand that He answer at once in the way we have pictured. Christ Himself, who has all authority and who built His church so that nothing prevails against it, still prayed for Peter in His hour of trial, to show His humanity and to teach us dependence. He thanked the Father, knowing He is always heard, and He prayed for the sake of those standing by that they might believe. So we also pray with confidence that God hears us in Christ, and with submission that His will be done. God hears always, but His answer comes according to His wisdom, His timing, and His goodness, which are higher than ours. Therefore keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking, trusting not in a formula but in the living Lord Jesus who loves you and gave Himself for you.

Bring your unspoken request to Him again each day, morning and evening. Ask Him above all for mercy, for forgiveness of sins, for strength to do His will, and for a heart that rests in Him whether the answer comes quickly or after long waiting. If there is any part of your life or desire that does not yet agree with His word, ask Him to shape it according to His word, for He calls us to salvation through Christ alone and to walk in holiness according to His design. He will not fail to give grace to those who ask in truth and who also strive to obey.

We pray with you now that the Lord Jesus Christ will have mercy on you, keep you watchful, guard you from discouragement and from the fear of men, and grant you peace in trusting His perfect will. Continue in prayer, continue in faithful obedience, and let your hope be in the Lord who hears.
