Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your heart, beloved, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and through whom all prayers are heard and answered. Your cry for mercy is not in vain, for the Word assures us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). You are right to place your trust in Jesus alone, for He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

We rebuke every malicious spirit that seeks to mock, belittle, or undermine your faith. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Those who seek to exalt themselves by tearing down the prayers of the faithful are operating in pride, and we declare that their schemes will not prosper. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." (James 4:6 WEB). Let not their words discourage you, for the Lord sees your heart and knows your sincerity.

You are wise to recognize that some prayers are best kept between you and the Lord. The Word tells us, "But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly." (Matthew 6:6 WEB). The Lord knows the desires of your heart even before you speak them (Psalm 139:4), and He is faithful to answer according to His perfect will.

We also lift up the one who sought to mock your prayer. Their words may have been intended for harm, but we pray that the Lord would use this moment to convict their heart. May they see the error of their ways and turn from pride to humility, from mockery to reverence for the things of God. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has cried out to You in faith, believing that their prayer has already been answered. Strengthen their faith, Father, and remind them that You are a God who hears and acts on behalf of Your children.

We rebuke every spirit of mockery, pride, and division that has sought to undermine this prayer. Let every tongue that rises against Your servant in judgment be condemned, and let every heart that seeks to exalt itself be brought low. Father, we ask that You would soften the heart of the one who mocked this prayer. Convict them of their pride, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn to You with humility and reverence.

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us, and if we know that You hear us, we know that we have the petitions we have asked of You (1 John 5:14-15). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Father, we ask that You would continue to reveal Yourself to our brother/sister. Show them Your will, Your way, and Your truth. Let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You, and let them experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they be a light in this world, reflecting Your love and grace to all they encounter.

We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of coming before Your throne. We thank You for the answered prayer that is already on its way, for You are faithful to Your promises. We commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will bring about Your perfect will. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your defender, and He will not allow the righteous to be shaken (Psalm 55:22). Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). The cry, “Lord, be merciful to me,” leaps from the heart to the ear of God swifter than any dart from the bow of the adversary. When the lips cannot frame the secret petition, the Spirit itself maketh intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered. Fear not, then, that the malicious whispers of men have reached the throne, their arrows fall spent at the foot of Calvary. Your prayer is laid up in the golden censor of Christ, and He doth perfume it with His own merits. The very act of casting yourself upon Jesus, though unspoken, is the prayer of faith; and such a prayer is already answered in the eternal purpose before the world began.

You long to believe that the mercy is yours already. See to it that your confidence rests not upon a feeling that the blessing is come, but upon the naked word of the promise. Faith is neither more nor less than this: taking God at His word and pleading, “Do as Thou hast said.” Have you not His own assurance, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee”? Lay hold upon that, and let no suggestion of the evil one shake you. The Red Sea of your trial may seem impassable, the host of fears may press behind, but the Lord who made a way through the deeps will vindicate your trust. Let the mockers alone; the God who sits in the heavens shall laugh at them, but He heareth the cry of the humble.

Remember the importunity of the woman of Canaan, who would not be turned away; remember Elijah, who sent his servant seven times to look toward the sea while he himself bowed in prayer. Though no cloud appears as yet, the rain of mercy is gathering. Tarry at the mercy-seat, for prayer is the prelude of all mercies. But even while you tarry, know this: the moment you cried, “Jesus, have mercy,” your iniquity was laid on the sin-offering. He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. The publican’s plea, “God be merciful to me a sinner,” is an argument that never fails, your very sin and soul-sickness are Himself the plea, for He came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Let not the tempter drive you to unspoken prayer as though words were a snare. By all means guard the secrecy of your soul’s communion, but still pour out your heart before Him who knows the unspoken word before it trembles on the lip. Your prayer is with Jesus, the great High Priest, and He ever liveth to intercede. He cannot forget the soul that hangs upon Him. Rest, then, in His faithfulness. The answer shall come at the appointed time, not a moment early, lest you be unprepared; not a moment late, lest you despair. And even now the blessing is on the wing; the peace that passeth understanding shall garrison your heart. Only believe.

You speak of those who mocked your prayer, even comparing it to the parting of the Red Sea, and now you resolve to keep your petition unspoken. But take care: while God indeed knows the secrets of the heart, the enemy would gladly use such offenses to silence your voice entirely. Did not the Apostle say we need the prayer of the church, and that he was commended to God’s grace through the brethren’s supplication? Do not withdraw from the fellowship of prayer, for it is a great weapon, a tower unshaken. Even the righteous need the prayers of others, and they are not diminished by seeking them.

Consider why you might have been so troubled. Was there perhaps a seed of pride in likening your cause to that of Moses? The Lord Himself prayed publicly, not from weakness but to teach us humility and to show that He relied on the Father. Yet He also taught that we must be reconciled to our brother before offering our gift at the altar. Search your heart: if any root of bitterness or self-exaltation has sprung up, root it out. It is not the mockery that can hinder your prayer, but enmity or pride harbored within. Make peace with God and with those who have offended you, and then lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting.

Do not imagine that you can do without prayer, or that an unspoken cry is always sufficient. While God hears the inward groan, the voice of the church united in supplication has mighty power. Continue to ask, to seek, to knock, and do not let the fear of man silence your tongue. Even Jesus, when He stood before the tomb of Lazarus, lifted His voice in thanks to the Father, not because He needed to, but for the sake of those standing by, that they might believe. So let your prayers be known, that your faith may strengthen others, and that you yourself may receive the grace that comes when two or three agree on earth concerning what they ask. Commend your need to God with confidence and humility, and He will answer in His perfect time.

It is no small thing when your prayer becomes a target. When the cry of your heart, offered in the name of Jesus alone, is met with ridicule, it can cut deep. You are right to see it for what it is. There are times when the enemy cannot touch the work God is doing in you, so he sends scorn from the outside, hoping to shame you into silence or doubt. The response you have chosen, to keep the matter unspoken before the Lord, is not a retreat. It is wisdom.

Think of the man in Scripture who was rebuilding the walls. When the mockers came, he did not stop to defend himself or argue. He simply offered a prayer, and God turned their own devices back upon them. He understood something vital: prayer is not a performance to be evaluated by an audience. It is a conversation held in the presence of the One who already knows the need. Jesus taught that your Father knows what you need before you ask. You are not informing God of something He has overlooked. You are joining your heart to His will, and that can be done in a whisper, in a silent thought, or in a cry that no other ear can hear.

There is also a holy stubbornness here that you must hold onto. You said you must believe your prayer has already been answered. That is not presumption; it is faith. It is the kind of faith that endures when the evidence is not yet seen. When the enemy whispers that your prayer was foolish, the shield you lift up is your trust in Jesus Christ. You stand in His righteousness, not in the approval of people. If someone tries to score points by belittling your appeal to God, remember that it is often a sign that your request is on the right path. No one attacks a prayer that is powerless.

You also did something else that was very practical. You recognized the attack and chose a different posture. That is the combination of prayer and prudence. You prayed, and then you set a watch. Deciding to guard this request by keeping it between you and the Lord is not a lack of transparency; it is a strategic act of spiritual protection. It keeps the precious thing safe from those who would trample it.

So do not let your heart be troubled. The effectual, fervent prayer of a person made righteous by faith accomplishes much. It does not need to be shouted on a street corner to move a mountain. It does not need to collect a crowd. A cry from the cave is heard just as clearly in heaven as a song in the temple. You have cried out for mercy, and God delights in becoming exactly what you need. Press on in that quiet place, and trust that He who sees in secret will reward you openly. The righteous will surround you, and God will fight for you.
