We join with you in Jesus' name and we thank you for coming boldly before His throne seeking mercy, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that our prayers are heard. We are encouraged that you have asked in Jesus' name and in Jesus' name only, for as it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.
We hear the burden of your heart even as you hold this as an unspoken request before the Lord, and we want to assure you that our Father knows what you need before you ask Him Matthew 6:8 and that He searches and knows your heart. You, God, know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar Psalm 139:2. We also take comfort that when we do not have words, the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered Romans 8:26. We stand with you in faith for this unspoken petition, even though you have not shared the details publicly, God knows every detail perfectly.
We understand your desire to believe your prayer has already been answered, and we encourage you in biblical faith. Jesus said, Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24. True faith trusts that God hears us, as it is written, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. So we encourage you to continue to believe, while also surrendering fully to His perfect will and timing, for My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh Isaiah 55:8. We pray that you will have peace as you wait, as you cast your burden on Yahweh and He will sustain you Psalm 55:22 and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
We also hear your hurt regarding those who have mocked or insulted your prayer, even comparing it to Moses opening the Red Sea in a belittling way. We want to gently encourage you not to let the words of others cause you to hide your faith in fear, but also to guard your heart against bitterness. Jesus said, Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake Matthew 5:11. Our calling is not to repay insult for insult, but to entrust ourselves to Him who judges righteously. Do not return evil for evil, but give place to God's wrath, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. We encourage you to forgive those who have seemed malicious, even if they sought self praise, and to pray for them, for love covers a multitude of sins and God sees the motives of every heart. If your Father in secret sees what is done in secret, your Father who sees in secret will reward you Matthew 6:6, so your unspoken prayer offered humbly before Him is precious and not diminished by the opinions of others. Remember that with God nothing is impossible, and He did indeed open the Red Sea, so no request is too hard for Him when it aligns with His will.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one and this unspoken burden that You know fully. Lord, have mercy and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect wisdom, Your perfect love, and Your perfect timing. Strengthen faith where there is doubt, and help our friend to trust You even while waiting, believing that You hear and that You care. Grant peace that surpasses understanding and guard this heart from discouragement, from the sting of mocking words, and from any spirit of fear or shame. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to keep praying with perseverance and humility. We ask that You would show Your power and Your mercy in a way that brings glory to Jesus alone, so that all will know it is by Your hand. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken request before the Lord daily in secret, with thanksgiving, trusting His goodness. Be still, and know that I am God Psalm 46:10. Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, for everyone who asks receives Matthew 7:8, and keep your hope anchored in Christ, for Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen Hebrews 11:1. We are standing with you, believing God will show Himself faithful.
