PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Your cry for mercy has been heard, and it is good that you bring it to Jesus alone, for only He can save and only He hears always. You are right to call upon His Name and to trust that He knows even the unspoken prayer that you hold in your heart.

Do not be troubled that others have mocked or insulted your prayer, or made light of it by comparing it to Moses at the Red Sea. That very example teaches us what faith is. At the sea the people hoped to pass through and Moses prayed, and faith went beyond all human reason and weakness. God did what man could not do. In the same way the two blind men did not approach quietly, but with loud cries they asked for nothing but mercy, and they received sight by hearing and by faith. So keep crying, have mercy, and leave the mocking to the Lord. Those who seek to look good by belittling the prayer of another only reveal their own need for humility.

You said you must believe your prayer has already been answered. Hold fast to faith, but also hold fast to trust in the wisdom and mercy of God. Jesus thanked the Father because He knew the Father hears Him always, and His will and the Father's will are one. For us, prayer is not a way to force our own answer, but a great weapon to make God propitious to us, early in the morning and by night, so that we may go through the storms and rocks of each day without shipwreck. Pray therefore not only for the thing you desire, but that God's perfect will be done in it, and that He will shape your heart to want what He wants.

God indeed knows the unspoken request. You do not need to explain it to men to make it valid. Bring it often to Him in secret, in the morning and in the evening, and ask also for the prayers of your brothers and sisters, for the prayer of the brethren can do great things. At the same time remember that we always remain in need of prayer and of mercy. Even after we have believed and been washed, the Lord taught His own disciples to pray, forgive us our sins, showing that repentance remains open and that His mercy is still ready to cleanse us when we turn to Him with a humble heart.

So we will pray with you in Jesus Name alone, that the Lord Jesus will have mercy on you, forgive your sins, guard you from all enemies seen and unseen, and answer your unspoken prayer according to His perfect love, wisdom and holiness. May He grant you not simply what you ask, but what is best for your soul, and lead you to walk in obedience to Him, in purity and faith, trusting Him alone for salvation. If there is anything in your desire that needs to be corrected or cleansed, ask Him to reveal it and to give you grace to follow Him fully. Keep praying, keep trusting, and do not let the voices of mockers turn you away from confidence in prayer and faith.
