PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Your cry for mercy has been heard, and it is good that you bring it to Jesus alone, for only He can save and only He hears always. You are right to call upon His Name and to trust that He knows even the unspoken prayer that you hold in your heart.

Do not be troubled that others have mocked or insulted your prayer, or made light of it by comparing it to Moses at the Red Sea. That very example teaches us what faith is. At the sea the people hoped to pass through and Moses prayed, and faith went beyond all human reason and weakness. God did what man could not do. In the same way the two blind men did not approach quietly, but with loud cries they asked for nothing but mercy, and they received sight by hearing and by faith. So keep crying, have mercy, and leave the mocking to the Lord. Those who seek to look good by belittling the prayer of another only reveal their own need for humility.

You said you must believe your prayer has already been answered. Hold fast to faith, but also hold fast to trust in the wisdom and mercy of God. Jesus thanked the Father because He knew the Father hears Him always, and His will and the Father's will are one. For us, prayer is not a way to force our own answer, but a great weapon to make God propitious to us, early in the morning and by night, so that we may go through the storms and rocks of each day without shipwreck. Pray therefore not only for the thing you desire, but that God's perfect will be done in it, and that He will shape your heart to want what He wants.

God indeed knows the unspoken request. You do not need to explain it to men to make it valid. Bring it often to Him in secret, in the morning and in the evening, and ask also for the prayers of your brothers and sisters, for the prayer of the brethren can do great things. At the same time remember that we always remain in need of prayer and of mercy. Even after we have believed and been washed, the Lord taught His own disciples to pray, forgive us our sins, showing that repentance remains open and that His mercy is still ready to cleanse us when we turn to Him with a humble heart.

So we will pray with you in Jesus Name alone, that the Lord Jesus will have mercy on you, forgive your sins, guard you from all enemies seen and unseen, and answer your unspoken prayer according to His perfect love, wisdom and holiness. May He grant you not simply what you ask, but what is best for your soul, and lead you to walk in obedience to Him, in purity and faith, trusting Him alone for salvation. If there is anything in your desire that needs to be corrected or cleansed, ask Him to reveal it and to give you grace to follow Him fully. Keep praying, keep trusting, and do not let the voices of mockers turn you away from confidence in prayer and faith.

Your honest cry for mercy has been heard, and it is right to bring it to Jesus alone, because salvation and righteousness come only through faith in Him. God knows the unspoken request you are carrying, and even when you do not put it into words, He understands it fully.

It is understandable to want to hold tightly and say I must believe it is already answered. True faith, though, is not forcing an answer on our own terms or declaring that God must do what we ask when we ask it. Scripture describes faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. It is trust in the character and promise of God even while we are still waiting. Many faithful men and women described in Hebrews died in faith not having received the promise in their lifetime, yet God honored their faith because they looked forward to His redemption through the Messiah. Without faith it is impossible to please God, and that faith is shown not by demanding a result but by trusting Him to do what is right and best according to His will.

It is also painful when others mock a sincere prayer or use it to make themselves look good. That kind of mockery has long been used to discourage those who seek God. The right response is not to return insult or to withdraw in fear, but to bring the hurt back to God in prayer, as Nehemiah did when he was mocked while doing God's work. He prayed and he also acted responsibly, setting a watch. Prayer was never meant to replace wise and responsible action, and it was never meant to be a tool to get our own wishes fulfilled. Its first purpose is worship and surrender, that God's kingdom and God's will would be done, and prayer opens the door for Him to do what He has desired to do without violating the trust He has given us. Fear and faith cannot occupy the same place. Where fear takes over, faith is driven out, so ask the Lord to replace fear with steady confidence in Him.

You mentioned choosing to keep this as an unspoken prayer because of the hurt you experienced. God indeed knows what is on your heart before you speak, and even short, simple prayers are heard. It is not the length of a prayer that makes it valid. At the same time, do not let mockery isolate you from fellowship. The early believers experienced heavy persecution, yet their faith grew exceedingly and their love for one another abounded. Trials can prove what is real in us, not for God to find out, but to show that our faith is living. A living faith is more than words. By grace we are saved through faith alone, not by works of the law, and we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit by faith, not by earning it. Yet a true faith will always show itself in a changed life. As James teaches, faith without works is dead, not because works create faith, but because real faith works together with obedience. You can show your faith by how you walk, in patience, in love, and in quiet obedience to what God has said.

Having faith does not guarantee that suffering or waiting will be removed. Scripture shows some who by faith saw great deliverances, and others who by the same faith endured suffering and loss, and both were honored for their trust in God. Do not measure the reality of your faith by whether hardship disappears quickly.

So bring this unspoken burden to Jesus again, not as a demand that He must answer on your terms, but as a child trusting a Father. Ask that His will be done in this situation and that He would make your heart conform to what you believe about Him. Ask Him to strengthen your faith, to increase your love, and to help you live in a way that reflects that trust. If there is any part of this request that does not align with His revealed will, including His design for salvation through Christ alone and for marriage and purity as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman with all intimacy kept within it, ask Him to purify your desires and to lead you into what is holy and good.

May the Lord count you worthy of His calling, fulfill His good purpose in you, and carry out the work of faith with power. May He give you patience in affliction, peace that guards your heart, and assurance that your righteousness rests not in your own striving but in Christ, whose faithfulness is counted as righteousness for all who believe. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep walking in faithful obedience while you wait for His answer in His time and His way.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up your unspoken request before Jesus and in Jesus Name only, just as you asked, because we know that only Jesus can do this and that God knows fully what this prayer is about even when it remains unspoken.

We have asked Jesus to have mercy and to strengthen your faith to believe that your prayer has already been answered according to His perfect will. We understand why you felt you needed to make this an unspoken request after hurtful and malicious responses from others who insulted and belittled your faith to make themselves look good, even making fun of your situation and comparing it to Moses opening the Red Sea. We want you to know that we do not take your request lightly and we have not been among those who would mock what you brought before the Lord. We remember that nothing is impossible with God as we read in Matt 19:26 and He is indeed the same God who parted the Red Sea, and we cling to the promise in Mark 11:24 that whatever we ask for in prayer we should believe that we have received it. We also take comfort in Rom 8:26 that the Spirit Himself intercedes for us when our hearts are too burdened for words.

We continue to pray that Jesus will show you everything in His time and give you peace and assurance as you wait on Him.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We count it an honor to keep standing with you without judgment.

We pray all of this in Jesus Name, asking for His mercy and comfort to rest upon you. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
