PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your cry for mercy and your deep desire to stand firm in faith, believing that your prayer has already been answered in Jesus’ name. Your trust in the power of Christ alone is commendable, and we join you in declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the battle is the Lord’s (Isaiah 54:17, 2 Chronicles 20:15). The malicious words and mockery you’ve encountered are not from God, and we rebuke them in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to sow doubt, division, and discouragement, but we stand on the truth that God’s Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). If these attacks have come from those who claim to speak for God, we must remind them, and ourselves, that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). Let us not be distracted by the noise of man but fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

You are right to recognize that some prayers must be unspoken, laid before the Lord in the quiet of your heart. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words when we do not know how to pray (Romans 8:26). God knows the desires of your heart even before you speak them (Psalm 139:4), and He is faithful to answer according to His will. We encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness or offense, for the enemy would love nothing more than to see you stumble over the words of others. Instead, let us cling to the promise that vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay (Romans 12:19). Your faith is not in the approval of man but in the finished work of Christ.

We also lift up the concern that these attacks may have come from those who seek self-praise or validation. Scripture warns us about those who preach Christ out of envy, rivalry, or selfish ambition (Philippians 1:15-17). Even if some of their words carry truth, their motives can be tainted by pride. Let us pray that their hearts would be softened and that they would seek God’s glory rather than their own. We must also examine our own hearts, are we seeking God’s will above all else, or have we allowed pride or insecurity to creep in? Let us humble ourselves before the Lord, and He will lift us up (James 4:10).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You hear the cries of Your children. Father, we rebuke every spirit of mockery, division, and pride that has sought to undermine this prayer. We declare that no weapon formed against Your servant shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You would shield their heart from offense and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray for those who have spoken against this prayer, whether out of ignorance or malice. Soften their hearts, Lord, and turn their eyes toward You. Let them see the error of seeking self-praise and turn instead to humility and repentance. May they preach Christ out of love, not rivalry or selfish ambition (Philippians 1:16). We also ask that You would search our own hearts, Lord. Reveal any areas where we have allowed pride, insecurity, or bitterness to take root. Cleanse us, Lord, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10).

We thank You, Father, that You know the unspoken prayers of our hearts. You see the desires we dare not speak aloud, and You are faithful to answer according to Your perfect will. We trust in Your timing, Lord, and we declare that this prayer has been answered, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Strengthen our faith, Lord, so that we may walk in confidence, knowing that You are working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us hold fast to the truth that God is our defender, and He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). The enemy may roar like a lion, but we serve the Lion of Judah, who has already overcome the world (Revelation 5:5, John 16:33). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). You are not alone in this battle, we stand with you, and above all, God stands with you.

We hear the frustration and hurt in your words, the sense that something precious you brought before God was trampled on, and that others seemed more interested in scoring points than in standing with you. That stings, and we’re sorry you experienced it. When we’ve opened our hearts in prayer, it cuts deep when someone treats it lightly.

What stands out to us is the steady ground beneath your closing thought: “God knows what this prayer is about.” That is not a retreat, it’s a quiet, profound act of trust. You are placing the whole matter into the hands of the One who sees what no one else can, who needs no gallery or explanation to understand the weight you carry. There is something deeply honoring to God in bringing a request so close that it remains between you and Him alone.

In moments when others have let us down or added to our anxiety, we can find steady ground by remembering that Jesus Himself often withdrew to solitary places to pray. His connection with the Father wasn’t dependent on a sympathetic audience. Your prayer is no less real, no less heard, and no less powerful because you are now guarding it in silence. Christ’s mercy is drawn to a trusting heart, not a perfectly worded plea.

A quiet next step you might consider: if it would help your own heart, you could write the full request out in a private place, perhaps a journal kept only for your eyes and God’s. Not because He needs reminding, but because the act of writing can help release the burden from our shoulders onto the page, and then into His care. It can be a way of saying, “I have placed this here; it is Yours now.”

We pray with you in that same quiet trust.

Jesus, You know the cry that words cannot fully shape. Meet this one in the silence, with the peace You promised, the peace the world cannot give or take away. Calm the inner noise and the sting of past words spoken against this prayer. Anchor their heart in the certainty that nothing entrusted to You is ever lost, mocked, or unheard. Draw near in mercy, and let them sense Your presence even now. In Your name alone, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a mercy it is that the Lord knoweth the thoughts which we cannot utter! When the noise of the adversary filleth the ear and the clamour of the scornful seeketh to drown your cry, remember that the whisper of the heart is louder to God than the shout of the multitude. Do not be dismayed when even professed believers make light of your wrestling; the Lord did not despise the silent groaning of Hannah, nor will He turn away from the unspoken prayer of a contrite spirit.

Persist, then, in your suit. Though you see no sign as yet, send forth the watchman again and again, as Elijah did upon Carmel. The cloud may be but the size of a man’s hand, yet torrents of mercy are in it. Prayer is the preface to blessing; great mercies spring from great supplications. Delay is not denial; often the Lord waits that He may train your faith and make the answer the sweeter when it cometh.

Take heed that no sin be cherished while you wait. Search your heart, for sometimes an unanswered prayer is a loving rebuke for secret iniquity. But if you have fled to Christ alone for refuge, you have the surest ground of hope. Trust not in feelings, nor in the approval of men, but in Jesus only. He that cometh unto God by Him must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Even a feeble faith, if it be true faith, shall not be cast out. Go on, then, crying mightily unto the Lord; let your private prayer be without ceasing, and your confidence immovable. He who opened the Red Sea can make a pathway through your deep necessities, and no scorner shall hinder His arm.

You cry out for mercy, and that cry is not unheard. When the blind men approached the Lord, they cried aloud, and their only word was "mercy." They did not elaborate, they did not justify themselves, they simply cast themselves upon His compassion. And He, seeing the earnestness of their faith, granted their request. So too, your unspoken prayer is known to God, for He sees the heart. Yet do not think that demanding an answer in your own mind is the same as possessing faith. Faith is not a command given to God, but a trusting surrender that says, "If You will, You can make me clean." To insist that the answer must already be yours is to risk mingling presumption with your plea. True faith clings to God's mercy, but leaves the time and manner to His wisdom.

You say malicious voices have mocked your prayer, comparing it to the crossing of the Red Sea. Let them mock. Did not the Israelites stand before the sea with the enemy behind them, and yet Moses cried to God? The deliverance came not through eloquent arguments, but through the silent trust of a people who afterward sang His praise. Consider those early believers who took joyfully the plundering of their possessions, knowing they had a better and enduring possession in heaven. Their full assurance of faith was not in words, but in deeds: they showed it by how they endured. Do not let the laughter of the scornful rob you of that same assurance. Pray in secret, as the Lord taught, and let your Father who sees in secret reward you openly.

But take care: the mouth that asks for mercy must itself be merciful. If we desire God to have pity on us, we must first show pity to our neighbor. "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." And the prayer that rises from a heart unwilling to forgive those who insulted you is a prayer that stumbles. You perceive that some have used this prayer to seek self-praise and belittle you. That is indeed a wound. But what does the Apostle say? "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." Before you ask again for Jesus to show you everything, ask Him to show you how to pardon those who have wronged you. Then your prayer will rise with a true heart, sprinkled clean from an evil conscience, and in full assurance of faith.

The mystery of Christ is not that we dictate to Him what He must do, but that we are brought near to God through Him. In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. So approach with confidence, yes, but also with the humility of a child. The innocent children interceding in the liturgy obtain mercy because they are lowly and simple. Imitate their simplicity. Let your prayer be, "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner." That short cry, often repeated from a humble heart, reaches the throne of grace more powerfully than many words wrapped around a sore pride. God knows your need. Entrust it to Him, and then rise and do works worthy of the mercy you seek, so that when our Lord comes, He may say to you, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

I hear the desperation in your cry, and you are right to cast yourself wholly on the mercy of Jesus. Prayer is not about impressing anyone else; it is a cry from the heart to the Father who sees in secret. When others mock or belittle a sincere plea to God, they may be seeking their own praise, but your standing before the Lord does not depend on their approval. He knows the unspoken groan of your heart far more deeply than any words can capture.

Faith and fear cannot share the same room. The enemy often uses fear, whether from outward attacks or inward doubts, to drive faith away. But you began your request by calling out for mercy, and that is the very essence of an effectual, fervent prayer. It rises from desperation, and it moves the heart of God. He is not deaf to the cry, even when it remains silent before others.

You said you must believe your prayer has already been answered. That kind of trust pleases Him. Jesus Himself asked whether He would find faith on the earth when He returns. Hold fast to that confidence. The answer may not always appear instantly, but He is faithful to His word. He is the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and mercy. He hears, and He will act.

Do not let the scorn of those who misunderstand drive you into isolation. While it is wise not to cast pearls before those who would trample them, your prayer life is first and foremost a private walk with your Father. He knows your need before you ask, and He invites you to keep coming with boldness, not because you are worthy, but because Jesus has made the way. The prayer that begins with “God be merciful to me, a sinner” is always heard. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

So continue to pour out your heart. The God who parted the sea is the same Lord who works in your situation today. Stand watch with faithful expectation, even as you pray. He will not fail you.
