Your cry has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord with sorrow for the great distress you describe. The weight of feeling hunted, tormented, and unable to find rest is a terrible affliction, and we grieve that you and others have endured such fear and exhaustion for so long.

We want to pray with you in a way that honors God and seeks His mercy and justice. Scripture teaches us to entrust vengeance to Him and to ask Him to restrain evil, to deliver the oppressed, and to bring both justice and repentance according to His perfect wisdom. For that reason we will not ask God to kill anyone or to take away what they value as a means of coercion, for that is not how Christ has taught us to pray. Instead we ask Him to do what is holy and right, to stop what is evil, to expose what is hidden, and to protect those who suffer. We pray that He would bring lawful justice, that He would change hearts that do harm, and that He would grant repentance where there is sin, while also bringing relief and safety to those who are afflicted.

We prayed that God, who alone saves through Jesus Christ, would draw near to every person caught in this torment and grant release. We asked that He would lift the weight of fear, confusion, and endless assault, that He would guard minds and bodies, grant clear thought and calm, and surround the suffering with His peace. We asked that He would remove oppressors from having power to harm, that He would restrain every work of darkness, and that He would provide refuge, wise counsel, and faithful people to walk alongside those who feel trapped.

In our own teaching we have often recalled how the Lord did not come to His disciples at once upon the sea, but in the fourth watch of the night, instructing them not to hastily demand deliverance but to bear what comes with endurance while trusting Him. In the same way we are taught to pray that we may not come into temptation, and if we do come into it, to bear it nobly, looking to Him who has already won the victory. The gospel is called the gospel of peace, and when we are at war with the evil one, we can be at peace with God through Christ. That peace does not always mean immediate escape from trial, but it does mean that God hears, that He is present in the trial, and that He will not allow temptation beyond what we can bear without providing a way through.

So we continue to pray for you that God would give you endurance without bitterness, clarity without despair, and hope that does not fade. We pray that He would give you a sound mind, restful sleep, protection day and night, and the comfort of His presence. We pray that He would lead you to trustworthy pastors and believers who can support you in person, listen with care, pray with you regularly, and help you seek practical help and safety as needed. We pray that He would do justice in His time and in His way, and that He would let you live in quietness and dignity as His child.

If these thoughts continue to overwhelm you, please reach out promptly to a faithful pastor, a mature believer you trust, and to appropriate local help for your safety and care. You do not need to carry this alone.

We will keep praying that the Lord in His mercy would bring deliverance, that He would silence every cruel work, that He would heal what has been wounded, and that He would fill your heart with His peace which passes understanding through Jesus Christ our Lord.
