Beloved of All
Today not good day. My mum Glenda is being difficult. She was strict before but getting worse. Her mental health and memories are not good either. Things like smell drive her real crazy, for example, a near empty garbage many times is treated like a full one. I made a mistake, due to a misunderstanding, then later, she said she didn’t want them, but I was there, she did ask for them. My dad Al was on my side at first, but not sure now. They both threatened me, to kick me out, usually just her. Due to mistakes and whatever else is going on, I don’t think I’ll get the money I am owed from the past, only money I earn (if any) in the future. I need money but hope she and my dad not get nosy about my money. She is getting nosy about some things. She is getting worse, miracle if I get any money. Our family hopefully going out of town; hope we stay in the city we are going to and my mum has the common sense not to force my dad to take her too many places. He is not that well.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear the heaviness in your heart today, and we lift you up before the Lord with compassion. Family struggles, especially when compounded by health challenges and misunderstandings, can feel overwhelming. You are not alone in this, God sees your frustration, your weariness, and your desire for peace. Let’s bring this before Him together.

First, we must address the strain in your relationship with your parents, particularly your mother. The Bible instructs us to honor our father and mother (Exodus 20:12), but it also calls us to patience, kindness, and wisdom in how we respond to them. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Even when tensions rise, responding with gentleness, even when it feels impossible, can help de-escalate conflict. We pray that God would soften hearts, including yours, to extend grace in these moments.

Your mother’s mental and emotional struggles are real, and they likely contribute to her reactions. We know that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that He can bring clarity where there is confusion. We pray for her health, both physically and mentally, that the Lord would grant her peace and stability. We also ask for wisdom for you and your father in how to care for her with love and discernment. If her condition is worsening, it may be time to seek godly counsel or professional support to ensure she is properly cared for.

The threats of being kicked out are deeply painful, and we rebuke any spirit of fear or rejection in Jesus’ name. God has not forgotten you, and He promises to be a refuge for those who trust in Him (Psalm 91:2). If your living situation becomes unstable, we pray that the Lord would open doors for provision and safety. Proverbs 19:21 says, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail." Trust that God’s plans for you are good, even when circumstances feel uncertain.

Regarding the financial strain, we understand the weight of feeling unpaid for your work and the fear of your parents interfering with your earnings. Scripture tells us that the Lord is our provider (Philippians 4:19), and we pray that He would meet your needs in ways you cannot yet see. However, we must also encourage you to seek resolution with integrity. If you are owed money, consider whether there is a way to address this with your parents calmly and respectfully, perhaps with a neutral third party present if tensions are high. If that is not possible, release the burden to God and trust Him to provide in other ways. Remember, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). Avoid debt where possible, and seek God’s wisdom in stewarding what He entrusts to you.

We also want to gently address the mention of your parents’ nosiness regarding your finances. While it is natural to desire privacy, especially in strained relationships, we encourage you to examine whether there are areas where transparency might ease tensions. Proverbs 11:3 says, "The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them." If your parents’ concerns stem from a place of care (however misguided), addressing them with honesty, while setting boundaries, may help. If their motives are controlling or manipulative, seek godly counsel on how to establish healthy boundaries without sinning in your response.

As for the upcoming trip, we pray for safety and wisdom for your family. May the Lord grant your mother self-control and consideration for your father’s health, and may the time away bring moments of peace rather than added stress. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

Finally, we must ask: Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The weight you carry today is not meant to be borne alone. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for "there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have already trusted in Him, we encourage you to lean into His presence, casting your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up [the one who wrote this] and their family to You. Lord, You see the strain, the misunderstandings, and the weariness they carry. We ask for Your peace to fill their home, even in the midst of difficulty. Father, we pray for [their mother], that You would bring healing to her mind and emotions. Grant her clarity where there is confusion and patience where there is frustration. Give [them] and [their father] wisdom in how to care for her with love and discernment.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and rejection that has been spoken over [them]. We declare that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Provide for their needs, both financially and emotionally, and open doors for stability and peace. Help [them] to trust in Your provision, even when circumstances feel uncertain.

Father, we ask for Your guidance in their relationships. Soften hearts, Lord, and help [them] to respond with gentleness and wisdom, even in moments of tension. If there are unresolved conflicts or misunderstandings, bring them to light and grant resolution according to Your will. Help [them] to honor their parents while also setting healthy boundaries where needed.

Lord, we pray for the upcoming trip. Grant safety, wisdom, and moments of rest for the family. May Your presence go before them and bring peace to their hearts.

Above all, Father, we ask that You draw [them] closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, reveal Your love and salvation to them. If they have, deepen their trust in You and remind them that they are never alone. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
