Beloved of All
I'm shaking, in a state of shock, just seen firemen with a waterpipe hose to turn out fire, they were right before my gate, and I did not know a visitor has tried to burn some branches (without telling me) to help me gardening but it is strictly forbidden, may he not be fined and may this never happen again please pray in Jesus Name. Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in this moment of fear and shock. The sight of fire so close to your home must have been terrifying, and we grieve with you over the recklessness that put you and your property in danger. Father, we thank You for the swift work of the firemen and for protecting this dear one from harm. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 91:2-4, "I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Lord, we claim this promise over this situation, be their shield, their refuge, and their peace.

We also lift up the visitor who acted so carelessly. While their intentions may have been to help, their disregard for safety and authority was dangerous. We pray they would not face fines, not because they deserve to escape consequences, but because we ask for Your mercy to soften hearts and bring about repentance. Proverbs 19:20 says, "Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come." May this be a lesson for them, and for all of us, to seek wisdom before acting, especially when our actions affect others.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of recklessness and foolishness that led to this moment. We declare that fire will not consume this home or this life, and we stand against any further danger in Jesus’ name. We pray for a hedge of protection around this property, that no harm would come near it, and that wisdom would guard every decision made here. May this never happen again, and may the fear that lingers be replaced with Your perfect peace.

We also take a moment to acknowledge the power of the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we can boldly come before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. He is the only way to true peace and eternal security.

Father, we ask that You would comfort this dear one now. Calm their trembling heart, steady their hands, and fill them with the assurance that You are in control. Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love in this moment of distress. We trust You to turn this frightening experience into a testimony of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We can only imagine the jolt you felt seeing the firemen and the hose right at your gate, and then processing that a visitor had started a fire without your knowledge. No wonder you’re shaking; that kind of shock sends a flood of adrenaline through the body and makes everything feel unsettled. In the middle of that, it’s okay to simply pause. Sit down somewhere quiet, let your breathing slow down, and give yourself a few minutes for the chemical rush to ease. You don’t have to fix this or make any decisions right now.

We’re joining you in asking God to step into this with both mercy and protection, that the visitor wouldn’t face a fine, and that this frightening situation never repeats itself. Once the dust settles, you may want to have a calm, clear conversation with the person about the strict rules, just so the danger isn’t revisited. But for now, the priority is your own peace.

Lord, we lift up our friend who is still trembling from what they saw. Settle their heart and quiet the racing thoughts; replace the edge of fear with your steady presence. We ask for leniency toward the one who started the fire, that no penalty would add to the strain, and we pray for safety over this home from now on. In Jesus’ name, amen.

How your heart must tremble, but it is written, “Fear not, for I will help thee.” The Lord has not given you the spirit of bondage again to fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. This sudden alarm, this shaking of the soul at the sight of the waterpipe and the firemen, let it drive you not to unbelief but to the throne of grace. You cry, “May he not be fined and may this never happen again,” and that is a proper petition, for we are to pray in everything. Yet see here a mercy mingled with the terror: you were preserved, your gate was not consumed, and the flame was quenched before it devoured your dwelling. Is not the Lord faithful who has said, “When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”? He has laid a supernatural restraint upon the blaze, and you have beheld a token of His watchful care.

But let the fear that now shakes you work caution in you and in your visitor also. The fear of God brings blessings, but the fear of man brings a snare. This act, though meant in kindness, set at naught the ordinance of men, and it is written, “Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake.” The way of peace is not to trifle with transgression, however small it seem. If the authorities chasten, receive it as from a Father who would teach obedience; if they forbear, let gratitude deepen reverence. Above all, seek that perfect peace which is the portion of those whose minds are stayed on Jehovah. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.” Men may cry, “Fire! fire!” and the heart be dismayed, but the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge round about. Cast this care on Him; trust in His promised strength, and then, though you be a worm, yet shall you not fear, for the Lord Himself will be your help and your shield.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your body shakes now because you have seen a sudden fire and feared the law’s penalty, but let this outward trembling teach you what every soul must feel when it stands before the judgment seat of Christ. There is a fire that shall prove each man’s work of what sort it is, and a river of flame rolls before Him when He comes in the clouds. You rightly call upon the name of Jesus, for it is mercy alone that delivers us from the fire that never shall be quenched. Learn from this small blaze to seek the great mercy that quenches hell itself.

Nothing incenses God so much as to be pitiless, yet nothing draws His compassion like our own mercy toward others. This visitor acted without malice, intending help, though he broke the law through ignorance. Blame belongs only where choice consents to evil. You now see how quickly a spark becomes a terror, and so let this fear become oil for your lamp that mercy might shine forth from you. Show pity toward him who trespassed against your garden, forgive any debt of anxiety he caused, and pray that the authorities may deal gently. When we have mercy on our neighbor, we find mercy from the Lord in that day.

Do not merely ask that the fine be withheld, but let your own heart hold no bitterness, that you may say with truth, “Lord, have mercy upon me,” having first had mercy upon yourself by releasing all anger. God’s mercy is a consuming fire against sin but a saving light to those who trust in Christ. This shaking shall pass, yet once more He will shake not only earth but heaven, removing what can be shaken so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Receive this kingdom which cannot be moved, serve God with reverence, and let the memory of those hoses and flames teach you to flee from the hidden things of shame, walking always in the light that mercy kindles. Pray now with calmness, for He who stilled the storms can quiet your trembling heart.
