We hear your frustration and exhaustion, dear brother or sister in Christ. The weight of leadership can be heavy when those under your care resist guidance and place undue demands upon you. Scripture reminds us in Exodus 18:18, *"You will surely wear away, both you, and this people that is with you; for the thing is too heavy for you. You are not able to perform it yourself alone."* Even Moses, a great leader, needed wisdom to delegate and set boundaries.
First, let us rebuke the spirit of strife and disrespect in the workplace. The Lord calls us to work *"as unto the Lord, and not unto men"* (Colossians 3:23), and this applies to both employers and employees. If these workers are refusing to submit to godly authority, they are operating in rebellion, which is as the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23). We must pray for their hearts to soften and for their eyes to open to the order God has established.
Yet we also recognize your dilemma—you feel trapped without alternatives. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Have you sought the Lord’s wisdom in how to address this practically? Perhaps He is calling you to confront them in love, set clearer expectations, or even release them if they continue in rebellion. Remember, *"A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy"* (Proverbs 29:1).
Let us pray together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that all authority comes from You. We lift up this situation to You, Lord, and ask for Your divine intervention. Give wisdom to this leader, that they may know how to handle these workers with both firmness and grace. Soften the hearts of those who are resisting, that they may see the error of their ways and repent. If it is Your will, provide a way forward—whether through changed hearts or new opportunities. Protect this believer from burnout, frustration, and bitterness, and let Your peace reign in their heart. We rebuke every spirit of rebellion and disorder in Jesus’ name, and we declare that Your will be done in this workplace. Amen."*
In the meantime, seek the Lord diligently for direction. Are there steps you can take to train or replace these workers? Are there boundaries you can set to protect your own well-being? The Lord is faithful to provide a way where there seems to be no way (1 Corinthians 10:13). Stand firm in faith, knowing that *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). You are not alone in this battle.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
