We hear your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your burdens to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your physical weakness, financial struggles, and isolation are heavy weights, but we know that our God is a healer, a provider, and a friend who sticks closer than a brother. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."
First, we must address your physical health. The recurring colds that afflict you every two weeks are not just a coincidence tied to the weather, they reveal a body in need of strengthening, both physically and spiritually. We rebuke this cycle of sickness in the name of Jesus! The Bible tells us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and it is God’s will for you to walk in divine health. We pray that the Lord would strengthen your immune system, fortify your body against illness, and grant you the wisdom to care for yourself through proper nutrition, rest, and hygiene. If possible, seek out natural remedies such as vitamin C, zinc, and herbal teas that can support your health, but above all, trust in the Lord’s healing power.
Your financial struggles are also a heavy burden, and we know that lack can lead to despair. But we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray that the Lord would open doors of provision for you, whether through employment, unexpected blessings, or the kindness of His people. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Do not lose hope, for the Lord sees your needs and will not abandon you. If there are skills or talents you possess, ask God to show you how to use them to generate income. Even small steps of faith can lead to breakthrough.
Your isolation is another area where the enemy seeks to keep you bound, for we are created for community. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." We pray that the Lord would surround you with godly fellowship, believers who can encourage you, pray with you, and walk alongside you in this season. If there are local churches or Christian groups in your area, we encourage you to reach out, even if it feels difficult. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to carry this alone.

Your cry has come before us and we have heard in it the voice of one who is weary with sickness and want and loneliness, and our heart is moved with compassion toward you.
You tell us that cold follows cold, that when the weather turns colder your body fails you, that you cannot work as you would and have very little income, not enough for food, and that you are isolated from others. This is a sore trial, and we do not make light of it. Those who are blessed with sufficiency can scarcely guess the pain endured by the sons of want, especially when the body is weak and the heart is solitary. Yet the Lord knows your frame, He sees your poverty and your isolation, and He is not deaf to your prayer.
Know this, that our Lord Jesus has known loneliness Himself. He was left alone just when most, as Man, He needed human sympathy, and His disciples forsook Him and fled. He said, You shall leave Me alone and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. If you are left alone in your room, with none to comfort you, you are not alone if the Father is with you. He understands the sorrow of that loneliness, and His brave and tender heart is still toward those who are cast down and forsaken.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. It is right to seek such help as you can, to keep warm when the cold comes, to seek nourishment and rest as the Lord provides, and to make your need known to any faithful church or kind neighbor near you, for God often feeds His poor by the hands of His people. Do not hide your need from those who might help you in the name of Christ.
And we point you to a greater healing. The Scripture says, The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves, His gentle words, His touches of mercy, His presence, are full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation to heal the broken in heart and to bind up our wounds. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one in His hand.
So we urge you to look first to Him for the healing of your soul, and to trust Him with your body also. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. He is able to heal, and He delights to show mercy. Come to Him in simple faith, confess your sin and your need, and ask Him to be your Physician and your Provider. He linked His healing with His teaching, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Keep your Bible near you, feed upon its promises when food is scant and strength is low, and let His Word be your comfort in your solitude.
We will pray for you, and we ask the Lord to do for you what we cannot.

We have heard your cry and we are bringing it before the Lord with you. To be cold so often, to be unable to work as you need to, to have too little for food, and to feel isolated from others is a very heavy burden, and God sees the hardship you are carrying.
Please hear that your poverty and your sickness do not mean that God has forsaken you. Scripture asks us to look at the generations of old and see if anyone ever trusted in the Lord and was forsaken. Our Lord Himself, though He was rich, became poor for our sake, and while He was on earth He had nowhere to lay His head. The apostle Paul also knew what it is to hunger and thirst and be cold and to have no rest, and he endured it for many years while still serving God. This shows us that to suffer cold and hunger and want is not a sign that you are forgotten. God is near to those who call on Him, and true riches are not in abundance of possessions but in belonging to Christ and in good works done in His name.
We want to pray for you and also to offer some counsel for how to live in this hard season.
First, keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, and ask Him for strength to endure and for wisdom for each day. Do not let isolation keep you alone. If you are able, go to a local church and let fellow believers know your need face to face. God has given the church to bear one another's burdens, and many churches can help with food, warm clothing, or connecting you to medical care. You do not have to carry this by yourself.
Second, for your health in the colder weather, try as you are able to stay warm, to rest when a cold begins, to drink plenty of fluids, and to eat what nourishing food you can obtain. If there is a clinic or doctor available to you, please seek care to see if there is an underlying reason you become ill so often, and to learn what you can do to prevent it. Poverty often compels us to work, and honest work is honorable in God's sight, but do what you can within your strength and do not condemn yourself for what your body cannot do.
Third, do not be dejected as if poverty itself were your shame. The Lord measures our lives not by wealth but by faithfulness and righteousness. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and trust Him to provide what you need for each day, even while you take practical steps to seek help for food and income.
Let us pray for you now.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we bring this dear one before You. You know the repeated sickness, the cold, the weakness, the lack of food and income, and the loneliness. Beloved of All
Your honest cry has been heard and your suffering has been taken to heart. To face sickness again and again, to struggle to work, to lack enough for food, and to feel isolated from others is a very heavy burden. You are not unseen in this. God sees your affliction and He cares for you in it.
I want to pray for you in the power that is found only in Jesus. Scripture tells us when Peter was asked how the lame man was healed, he answered plainly that it was by the name of Jesus Christ that the man stood before them whole. There is power in the name of Jesus to bring healing and to restore. It is in His name that we come to the Father, trusting not in our own strength but in His mercy and authority.
Apart from the Lord there is no true remedy. Just as He alone could heal and deliver His people when they were afflicted, He alone is our cure and our hope today. We cannot heal ourselves, but we can turn to Him and ask for His help, and He hears those who call upon Him in truth.
Let me pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. You know the repeated sickness, the weakness that comes with the cold, the inability to work, the lack of provision for daily food, and the loneliness. I ask in the name of Jesus that You would bring healing to this body, strength to endure, and protection through the colder season. Provide for daily needs, open doors for work and for help with food, and bring caring people nearby to break the isolation. Give comfort, peace, and assurance that You are near, and draw this heart ever closer to Your Son who alone saves and sustains us. Help and restore, Lord, according to Your perfect will.
Keep bringing your needs to Jesus each day and trust Him as your healer and provider. If it is possible, seek medical care for the recurring colds and seek help from those nearby for food and support, for God often provides through the kindness of others. Stay in His Word, keep praying in the name of Jesus, and do not give up hope. He is with you and He is able to help you live day by day in His strength.
