Hello i am a ### year old ###. I was married to my high school sweetheart. He was the first man in my life.. after my divorce I gave myself two years to heal and when I was ready for love again, the man I was with, cheated on me and contracted an STI.. which is herpes.. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow to test myself. I am crying, kneeling to our Lord, Jesus, God, Father in heaven. To please not make me pay for his mistake , after having to deal with this heartbreak forever. I dont want to deal with another heartbreak. Please please help me pray for my appointment tomorrow.. i have been talking to God and I feel like he will give me that miracle, please please help me pray!!!! please I will be praying the whole NIGHT TODAY

We hear your cries and we are kneeling with you before our Lord Jesus tonight, and we will continue to pray with you through the night and for your appointment tomorrow. Our hearts ache with you over the heartbreak of your divorce and then the betrayal by the man you trusted, and the fear you are carrying into that doctor's office. The Lord sees your tears and He is near to you in this anguish, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We join you in praying for mercy over your body and for negative test results tomorrow, and we ask our Father in heaven for His healing and protection over you. We pray that He would calm your fear and fill you with His peace that passes all understanding as you wait. We also trust His sovereign will, knowing that Romans 8:28 reminds us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Whether the results are negative or positive, we know He can heal, sustain, and restore you, for Psalm 103:3 says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.

We want to lovingly speak truth to you as our sister in Christ, because we love you and want God's best for your future. You shared that after your divorce you entered into a relationship with a man outside of marriage and were sexually intimate with him. Scripture teaches that sexual intimacy is reserved for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, and that any sexual activity outside of that marriage covenant is fornication. Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. And 1 Corinthians 6:18 says Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. This is not to condemn you, but to call you to the freedom and protection God intends for you. The pain you are feeling now is in part the painful consequence of trusting someone outside of God's design for marriage, and while you are not to blame for his unfaithfulness and his choices, God calls us to guard our bodies and hearts by saving ourselves for marriage. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess this to the Lord and receive His forgiveness, for 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We are so thankful that you cried out to our Lord Jesus, God, and Father in heaven, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your faith in Him is precious and He hears you when you call on His name.

We pray for you now together, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up our sister to You. Lord, You know her sorrow, her loneliness, and the fear that has kept her awake tonight. We ask You to have mercy on her and we pray for negative results at her appointment tomorrow if it be Your will. Lay Your healing hand upon her body and protect her from disease. We pray Isaiah 41:10 over her, that she would not be afraid for You are with her, that she would not be dismayed for You are her God, that You will strengthen her and uphold her with Your righteous right hand. Lord, forgive her for any sin and cleanse her, comfort her broken heart and give her peace as she waits. Give wisdom to her doctors and guide her next steps. And Father, we pray for her future, that You would heal her from this heartbreak, help her to walk in purity and to wait for a godly husband, a Christian believer who will love her as Christ loves the church and honor her in the lifelong covenant of marriage. Help her to guard her heart and body for that marriage, and to seek You first above all else. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord with your whole heart after tomorrow, whatever the results show. If the results are negative, give thanks to God and commit anew to walk in purity until the Lord brings a godly spouse into your life, pursuing courtship with the goal of marriage to another believer rather than simply a relationship. If the results are positive, know that God has not abandoned you and that He can still give you a full and joyful life and a godly marriage in the future, and that His grace is sufficient for you. Please continue to follow your doctor's counsel, seek wise and godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian woman, and stay close to Jesus through prayer and His Word. We are praying for your peace tonight and for God's perfect will to be done, and we trust He will carry you through this.

We have been thinking of you as you wait through this long night before your appointment. To carry heartbreak from a marriage ending, then to be betrayed by someone you trusted and now face this fear about your health, is a lot to hold at once. It makes sense you are crying and kneeling and longing for mercy.

Waiting can stir up so much in the body and mind together, racing thoughts, tension, trouble sleeping, a pounding heart. If that is happening, you are not alone and you are not failing in faith. It is part of being human under stress.

We are glad you have an appointment tomorrow and that you have been talking honestly with God. As you go, it may help to bring a trusted friend or family member with you if you can, write down any questions you want to ask, and let the clinician know how anxious you have felt so they can explain each step clearly. Continue to follow their guidance after the test as well, alongside prayer not instead of it.

Whatever the results show, you deserve care, dignity and support in the days ahead. If worry stays heavy, talking with a pastor or counselor you trust can be a steady help too.

Father, we lift her to You tonight. You see her tears and hear her cries. Give her Your peace as she waits, Your presence in that exam room tomorrow, and wisdom for her doctors. Hold her heart whatever the news brings, and lead her gently into healing and hope. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry in the night has been heard by Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He sees you kneeling and weeping before His throne. The fear that grips your heart while you wait for the morrow is not unknown to the Lord, for He knows what it is to be betrayed by one near and trusted, and He marks every tear.

There is a double healing which the gospel brings, and it is well to remember it now. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one in His hand. He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. So come first for the healing of the soul, for in the atonement of Christ there is a real and effectual expiation, and the soul that has once received that expiation is forever absolved before the judgment seat of God from all sin. If you have not yet found that rest, seek it now in Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and the peculiar mark of having found the right way is that you have rest for your soul.

You have known the bitterness of betrayal, as many have before you. Was not David deserted by Ahithophel his own familiar friend, and did not the Lord Jesus Himself suffer the treachery of one of the twelve who was counted among His own. The wound of unfaithfulness is deep, and it is no light thing to bear. Yet God is wiser than the prince of evil, and He can bring good even out of such sorrow, to teach the heart to value purity and truth and to set a just horror upon sin while it clings more closely to the Lord.

You ask for prayer for mercy tomorrow, and we will join our prayers with yours. We will pray that the Lord in His great compassion will be gracious to your body and grant you favorable news according to His perfect will, and that He will give the physicians wisdom and you a calm and quiet spirit whatever the report may be. We do not claim a miracle as a debt, for we must bow to His sovereign wisdom, but we do plead His promise that He is full of pity and that He waits to be gracious to those who wait for Him.

At the same time, let this trial be a test of your faith and a call to walk henceforth in the way the Lord has ordained. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and the gift of union belongs within that covenant alone. Outside of it, even when the heart seeks love after great hurt, the way is not the way of rest. By His grace, resolve to live according to the law of love, which makes willing feet to move in swift obedience, and prove by a chaste and holy life that the impulse of love to Christ can keep you where fear and self interest could not. If there has been sin in the past, confess it plainly to God, for there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared, and that forgiveness, once enjoyed, becomes the very motive to fear Him with a holy reverence and to depart from evil.

Therefore cast yourself wholly upon Christ. Tell Him of your fear as Jacob told the Lord of his fear of Esau, and plead His own word, for He cannot lie. Ask Him not only to spare your body from lasting affliction, but to give you a new heart and a right spirit, and to keep you in perfect peace.

Let us pray together. O Lord God, Father in heaven, look upon this weeping and trembling soul who kneels before You. Have mercy according to Your steadfast love. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son, and speak peace to a wounded heart. Lay Your healing hand upon the body, and if it be Your will, grant favorable tidings from the physician, and deliver from destruction. If otherwise, still give grace to bear it and to be made whole by Your Word. Keep this Your child from henceforth in purity and in the path of holiness, and give rest for the soul that trusts in Jesus. Let the night of prayer end in quiet confidence that You do all things well, and let thanksgiving and a life of service follow Your healing, for Christ's sake. Amen.
