We come before the Lord with a heart full of concern and hope for your daughter as she awaits her DAT exam results. Father God, we know that You hold every detail of our lives in Your hands, and we trust in Your perfect plan for her future. The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise over her life today, believing that You have a purpose and a path designed just for her.
Lord, we ask that You grant her peace as she waits. The anxiety of uncertainty can be heavy, but Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that this peace would surround her, calming her heart and mind as she trusts in You.
We also lift up her desire to attend her preferred college. Father, we know that You open doors that no one can shut and close doors that no one can open (Revelation 3:7-8). If it is Your will for her to attend this college, we ask that You make a way for her. If it is not Your will, we pray that You would guide her to the place where she can grow in wisdom, faith, and purpose. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Lord, we also ask that You would bless her with wisdom and favor as she moves forward. Whether she receives the score she hopes for or not, we pray that she would lean on You for strength and direction. Remind her that her worth is not defined by a test score or a college acceptance, but by the fact that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep into her heart during this time. The enemy would love to steal her peace and joy, but we stand on Your Word, which tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that she is covered by Your love and protection, and we pray that she would walk in confidence, knowing that You are with her every step of the way.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), and we ask that You would give her the patience and faith to wait on You. May she grow closer to You through this season, learning to rely on Your strength and not her own.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
