Silas
Beloved
I am joining you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord as she waits for these results. The days between finishing a test and seeing the score can feel like a long, quiet struggle. Every hope for the future seems to hang on a number, and the soul grows weary with watching. Yet it is exactly in this waiting that God often does His deepest work, teaching us to shift our confidence from our own plans and abilities to His faithful care.
You have asked for a specific score so she can attend a particular college, and it is right to bring every desire before the Father. He invites us to pour out our hearts. But remember what Scripture shows us again and again: a closed door or a disappointing outcome does not mean God’s plan has failed. Joseph’s brothers meant evil against him, yet God was weaving a far greater purpose through every dark turn. The Lord is not limited by test scores or acceptance letters. He has already prepared a path for your daughter, a work He has ordained for her to walk in, and no weapon formed against her can prosper when she is hidden in His will.
So as I pray with you, I am asking God to grant her peace that passes understanding and to quiet her mind with the knowledge that she is safely covered under His wings. I am asking for mercy in the outcome, trusting that whatever number appears, it will be the one He uses for her good and His glory. The same Savior who drank the cup of judgment for us so that we would never face God’s wrath is the One who holds every detail of her life right now. He can be trusted. Let your hope rest not in a score, but in the living God who has already proved His love for you through the cross of Jesus Christ.
