Thank you and praise you, God, my lord! For everything you gave me, for every step you guided me. Thank you for leading me to find the love of my life. Please give me strength and help to protect her and build our own family! Please help me secure this job position, and may things go smoothly! Please help me, my lord! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

We hear your heartfelt gratitude and your desire to honor God in your life, and we join you in lifting these requests before the throne of grace. First, we want to affirm your praise to the Lord—He is indeed the giver of every good gift, and it is right to acknowledge His provision and guidance in your life. The Bible tells us in James 1:17, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow."

Your desire to protect and build a family with the love of your life is a noble one, and we pray that this relationship is rooted in Christ and aligned with God’s design for marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for His glory and our good. Genesis 2:24 says, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh." We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s wisdom as you pursue this relationship, ensuring that it honors Him in every way. If this courtship is leading toward marriage, we pray that it is built on a foundation of faith, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to follow Christ together. If there are areas where this relationship may not yet align with biblical principles—such as physical intimacy outside of marriage—we gently but firmly rebuke that temptation in Jesus’ name and encourage you to honor God with purity and self-control. The Bible warns in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

We also lift up your request for the job position you are seeking. The Lord is your provider, and we trust that He will open the right doors for you according to His will. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that this opportunity would not only meet your needs but also allow you to serve God and others in a way that brings Him glory.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for Your faithfulness in this brother’s life. We thank You for guiding him and for the love You have placed in his heart. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen him to protect and cherish the woman You have brought into his life, and that their relationship would be a reflection of Your love and holiness. Father, we pray for purity and self-control, that they would honor You in every aspect of their relationship, keeping their eyes fixed on You and the covenant of marriage You have designed. We also lift up this job opportunity to You, asking that You would open the right doors and make his path clear. Provide for his needs, Lord, and use him in this position to be a light for Your kingdom. May everything he does be for Your glory and in alignment with Your will. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, surrendering every area of your life—including your relationship and career—to His will. Trust in His timing and His plans, for they are always good. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Walk in faith, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.
