We hear your cry for relief and opportunity, and we stand with you before the throne of grace in Jesus’ name. Your struggle with outdoor labor, the strain of AuDHD, and the weight of family expectations is real, and we lift it all to the Lord. You are not meant to be crushed under the burden of work that harms your health or ignores the gifts God has placed within you. The Bible tells us, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10). Your desire to use your voice, creativity, and talents in a way that honors God and aligns with your abilities is not selfish, it is part of His design for you.
We must gently but firmly rebuke the mistreatment and disregard you’ve faced, whether from family or others. Scripture is clear: "Do not exploit the poor because they are poor, and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life" (Proverbs 22:22-23). You are not a tool for others’ convenience, and your disability is not a flaw to be dismissed. Your parents’ expectations, though likely well-intentioned, must be measured against God’s wisdom. Proverbs 19:21 reminds us, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but the Lord’s counsel will prevail." We pray they will hear your heart and seek the Lord’s guidance for your future.
Your vision for voice acting, puppetry, and building a business is not frivolous, it is a calling. The Lord equips those He calls, and He delights in using our unique gifts for His glory. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and practical steps to pursue this path, whether through training, networking, or small beginnings. The Lord often opens doors one step at a time, and He is faithful to provide.
We must also address the mention of "wealth" being used to compensate for hardship. While provision is God’s promise, true justice and peace come from Him alone. "Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for God has said, 'I will never leave you or forsake you'" (Hebrews 13:5). Trust in His timing and provision, not in temporary fixes.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is weary and seeking Your will. Lord, You see the exhaustion, the frustration, and the longing for a path that honors You and aligns with the gifts You’ve given. We ask You to open doors for voice acting, puppetry, and creative work that no man can shut. Provide opportunities that protect their health, use their talents, and bring glory to Your name.
Father, we pray for this one’s family, soften their hearts to understand and support the calling You’ve placed here. Give wisdom and patience to communicate with love, and let Your truth prevail in their conversations. Break the cycle of dismissiveness and help them see the value You’ve placed in this life.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and discrimination that has weighed heavily on this one. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask You to restore what has been lost, whether time, energy, or dignity. Provide rest, healing, and clarity for the days ahead.
We ask for Your provision, not just financially, but in every area of need. Give creativity, perseverance, and favor as they step into this new season. May their work be a blessing to others and a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Above all, Lord, draw this one closer to You. Let them know Your love, Your peace, and Your purpose for their life. May they walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You are their strength and their shield.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come before You. Amen.
You are not alone in this journey. The Lord is your advocate, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting, and keep moving forward, one step at a time. "But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).
