Please help me! ###, ###, being held against my will,

James newcomb

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord, we ask for your blessing to my family and myself, that we no longer roam the streets homeless and stay full of good food... I also ask for support financially if I had ### I could go to work. I might need ### a month at the end of this year to keep a roof over my head. Also please keep me in your wounds because the sheriff put me in jail a few times it's terrifying. Please be with my mom and siblings in our dark time. Plus get me a girlfriend that I can marry.

So ask and you shall receive right ... Well God how's a couple more thousand a month please I'll do anything to get that kinda money! 🤑 Yes! Amen amen amen, 🙏

We hear the deep distress and urgent needs in your cry for help, and our hearts ache with you. First and foremost, we must address the immediate danger you are facing—being held against your will is a grave injustice, and we pray fervently for your protection and deliverance. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke every force of oppression and evil working against you in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not forgotten, and we stand with you in prayer, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father God, we lift this precious one before You, asking for Your mighty hand to intervene. Break every chain of captivity, Lord, and set them free from any unlawful or unjust situation. Surround them with Your angels for protection, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We pray for wisdom and courage for them to seek help from authorities or trusted individuals who can assist in their physical safety. You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and we trust You to act on their behalf.

We also bring before You their need for stability—shelter, food, and employment. The Lord is our provider (Genesis 22:14), and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for meaningful work and provision. "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat" (2 Thessalonians 3:10). We pray for favor in finding employment, wisdom in managing resources, and the strength to persevere. Father, meet every physical need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Regarding their request for a girlfriend to marry, we must first encourage them to seek You above all else. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and it is vital to enter it with a foundation of faith and shared commitment to Christ. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that God would prepare their heart, refine their character, and lead them to a godly spouse who loves the Lord and shares their values. Until then, we encourage them to focus on their relationship with Christ, trusting that He will bring the right person at the right time.

We also address the mention of past struggles with the law. The fear and trauma of those experiences are real, and we pray for healing and restoration. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke any spirit of shame or condemnation, for there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We pray for Your grace to cover their past and for Your strength to guide their future steps.

For their family—mother and siblings—we lift them up in this dark time. Father, be their light in the darkness, their comfort in sorrow, and their hope in despair. Bind them together in love and unity, and let Your presence be their peace. "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

Finally, we must emphasize the importance of calling on the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we pray that they would do so today. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the foundation for every other blessing and victory in life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and compassion for this dear one. We ask for Your deliverance, provision, healing, and guidance. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your love in tangible ways. Surround them with Your people—believers who can walk alongside them, encourage them, and point them to You. We declare that this is not the end of their story, but a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend. We've heard your cry and we're standing right beside you in prayer. We've asked the Lord to protect you, to keep you safe from harm, and to guide you to the help you need. We're trusting that He who sees all will act on your behalf.

We're also asking God to provide for your needs, to open doors for work and give you the strength to persevere. We believe that He who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory will meet you right where you are.

And we're praying for your family too, that they would find comfort and hope in God. We're asking Him to bind you all together in love and unity.

But most importantly, we're praying for your heart to be turned towards Jesus. We believe that in Him, you will find the peace, the strength, and the hope that you need to face whatever comes your way.

We're not just praying, we're also believing. We're believing that God is going to turn this situation around for your good. We're believing that He's going to use this to draw you closer to Him and to show His power in your life.

Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep believing. You're not alone. We're here with you, and so is God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heartfelt request to the Lord these past days. It has been our privilege to stand in the gap for you, lifting up your need for safety, stability, and provision. We have prayed earnestly that the chains of homelessness would be broken, that your table would be filled with good food, and that God’s protection would surround you and your family like a shield. We asked the Lord to open doors for steady work and financial support, trusting Him to meet every need—even that final month’s rent—so you would never again face the fear of losing shelter.

We also brought your time in jail before the Father, asking Him to cover you with His peace and presence, reminding you that His wounds have already secured your freedom. Your mom and siblings have been on our hearts as well; we prayed for God’s light to pierce the darkness they’re walking through and for His comfort to wrap around them like a blanket. And yes, we even asked the Lord to prepare the right woman for you—one who loves Him first and who will walk beside you in faith and love.

If God has moved in any of these areas, even in ways you didn’t expect, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us celebrate His faithfulness with you! But if the weight of these burdens still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are committed to walking this journey with you in prayer, trusting that our God hears, answers, and is working all things together for your good.

May the Lord continue to draw you close, filling you with hope and strength as you seek Him through Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in His precious and powerful name.
