We join with you in prayer together in Jesus' name and bring all of these needs before our heavenly Father.

We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace and it is in His name that we find help, mercy and peace. We lift up your desire for rest, for peaceful sleep and for strength to wake in due time. We pray the Lord will grant you sweet and restoring sleep and help you to wake refreshed and on time for all that He has set before you. As it is written, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8, and so also for he gives sleep to his beloved Psalm 127:2.

We pray for cooperation among all those involved and for the Lord to bless every appointment this week. We ask that He would order your steps, remove hindrances, and grant favor and punctuality, and that you would know His cooling and comforting presence in the heat and in any discomfort. We ask for His protection over you and over all those who will be traveling soon, that He would keep you from harm and bring everyone safely to their destination. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8.

We agree with you to rebuke the difficulties, chaos and confusion that have pressed upon you and your family. Our God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Corinthians 14:33, and we pray He will replace every anxious thought and disorder with His perfect peace. We bring every care to Him, trusting His promise that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning and for Your faithful watch over us. We ask You to send Your help through those You have appointed, to move hearts to cooperate quickly and graciously. Grant deep, peaceful rest tonight and help us to wake at the right time, alert and strengthened for the day. Bless every appointment this week, let all go smoothly and on time, and cool us by Your hand and give relief from the heat. Cover us and all those traveling soon with Your safety, keep us from accident and harm, and let no chaos or confusion take root among us. We rebuke every difficulty and disorder in the name of Jesus and invite Your order, clarity and blessing to reign in our homes and in all our affairs. Pour out Your mercies, blessings and protection upon us speedily, according to Your perfect will. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Thank you for sharing so openly with us. We hear how tired you are and how much you are hoping for this week to go more peacefully, with good sleep, waking on time, appointments that go smoothly, people cooperating, travel kept safe, and some real relief from the heat and confusion.

It makes sense that when so many things are stacked together it feels chaotic and hard to rest. Wanting calm and order is a good and human desire, and we are glad you brought it to Jesus so directly.

One small thing that has helped others when weeks feel this full is to get everything for the next day ready the night before in one place, times, addresses, what to bring, and then share that simple plan with anyone who needs to cooperate. It will not fix everything, but it can lower the scramble in the morning and make it easier to rest knowing the plan is set. If sleep continues to be a struggle, it can also help to talk with your doctor or clinic alongside prayer.

Jesus, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your mercy and care this week. Grant rest tonight and help to wake in time, give favor and cooperation in each appointment, keep safe those who are traveling, cool and calm what feels overheated and chaotic, and quiet confusion with Your peace. We trust You with each need. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we bring it before the throne of grace with you, entreating the Lord to show you His tender mercy.

There is a sweet promise for such a time as this, that He will keep in perfect peace, peace upon peace, the soul whose mind is stayed upon Him, because it trusts in Him. When duties press and appointments crowd upon you, and when confusion and chaos would break in, to do the will of Jesus is rest, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. May the Lord grant you that inward peace which remains even when sorrows surge around, and may your heart be stayed upon Christ who is Himself our peace.

We pray also that He who giveth His beloved sleep will grant you quiet rest and a safe waking. It is the Lord who makes His people to dwell in safety, and He gives sleep not as the sleep of carnal security, but as the gift of a Father to His children, a rest that comes from a conscience at peace with God through the atoning blood. May He cool your cares, settle your spirit, and renew your strength, and bring you in due season to your appointments with punctuality and calmness of mind.

For your journey and for those who travel soon, we commend you to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory. Your safety lies not in your own watchfulness but in your Savior, who is both able and wise to keep you. We ask Him to rebuke all that would hinder and to scatter the confusion that assails you, to make the way plain, to move upon the hearts of all with whom you have to do that there may be cooperation and kindness, and to cover you and yours with His protecting hand.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, cause His face to shine upon you, and give you that profound and heavenly peace which is His own gift, purchased by Christ and wrought in the soul by the Holy Spirit. We leave you in the keeping of Jesus, in whose care both you and your loved ones are safe.

O Lord, grant rest, grant safety, grant perfect peace, and let Thy mercies and blessings be upon these Thy people for Jesus sake. Amen.
