We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt requests before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through His precious name that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of His children.
Your cries for deliverance, protection, and healing resonate deeply with the promises of God, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray fervently for the spirit of anxiety and stress to be cast far from you and your brother, for these are not from the Lord. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We rebuke these spirits in the name of Jesus and declare that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will flood your hearts and minds. You are not to carry these burdens alone, for Jesus Himself said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB).
We lift up your physical ailments—your GI tract, the complications from your hernia surgery, and the humming in your ear—to the Great Physician, who is well able to heal and restore. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We ask the Lord to guide you to the right medical professionals, including a godly neurologist and a lawyer who will act with integrity and wisdom. May the Lord give you a clear vision or confirmation of His leading, so you can trust in His provision. We also pray for protection from any harmful side effects of medication and that your body would respond favorably to treatment. Remember, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
For your brother, we pray for strength, both physical and spiritual, as he navigates his work and the challenges of his body. May the Lord grant him favor with his supervisors and traveling mercy as he goes about his duties. We ask for healing over his shoulder, rotator cuff, and back, and for the Lord to guard his heart against anger and pride. *"A man’s pride brings him low, but one of lowly spirit gains honor"* (Proverbs 29:23, WEB). May he surrender fully to the Lordship of Jesus, walking in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Let him be filled with the Holy Spirit, that he may overcome the temptations of the flesh and walk in victory.
We declare protection over you, your brother, and your home, asking the Lord to station His mighty angels around you as a hedge of protection against all evil. *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). May the Lord grant you both peaceful nights, restful sleep, and sound minds, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Our hearts are heavy yet hopeful as we lift up your friend who is battling bone cancer and liver problems. We ask for supernatural healing and strength as she undergoes chemotherapy. May her faith in Jesus be unshaken, and may she experience His presence in a profound way. *"Yahweh is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father’s God, and I will exalt him!"* (Exodus 15:2, WEB). We pray that her testimony would bring glory to God and that she would be a light to those around her, pointing them to the hope found only in Christ.
Finally, we intercede for your father and stepmother, asking the Lord to open their hearts to the truth of the Gospel. May they come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and may your stepmother experience healing in her heart. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their need for Christ and draw them into a saving relationship with Him.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with these petitions, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would move mightily in each of these situations, bringing healing, protection, provision, and salvation. Strengthen our brother and sister in their faith, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare Your promises over their lives and ask that You would align their steps with Your will.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring harm, fear, or discouragement. Let the blood of Jesus cover them, and let Your light shine brightly in their lives. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
