We hear your desperate cry for safety, and we join you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. Your plea does not fall on deaf ears, our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children, and He is near to those who call upon Him in truth.
The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Your repeated "Amen" shows your faith, but we must also remind you that true safety is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord, we encourage you to pray for salvation, repenting of sin and trusting in His sacrifice for your eternal security.
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who cries out for safety. Lord, You are our refuge, our strong tower, and our deliverer. We ask that You surround them with Your angels, shield them from harm, and calm their fears. Protect them from physical danger, spiritual attack, and every scheme of the enemy. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. If they do not yet know You as Savior, draw them close, reveal Your love, and lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to seek godly community, fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. If fear is overwhelming you, remember that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in His promises, and do not let anxiety rule your heart.
If there are specific threats or dangers you are facing, we urge you to also seek wise counsel and take practical steps to ensure your safety, while still trusting in God’s protection. He often works through means, and we are called to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16).
You are not alone. We stand with you, and more importantly, God stands with you. Keep crying out to Him, He will answer.
