Please pray for my mother. Her Name is ### and she lives in ###. She's had cancer in several places in her body over the past few years. Now she's in the hospital because she has an inoperable tumor in her intestine. I don't want her to die because there's still unforgiveness in her life, and I'm seriously worried about her eternal life. Please help me pray for my mother; I'm desperate. God bless you 1000x ###

We lift up your mother with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for her healing and, most importantly, for her soul. The fear you carry for her eternal life is not something to be taken lightly, and we share in your urgency. The Word of God tells us in Ezekiel 18:23, "Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord Yahweh; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?" God does not delight in the death of anyone, but desires repentance and life. This is why we pray with fervency, not just for her physical healing, but for the healing of her heart.

First, we must address the matter of unforgiveness in her life. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that can hinder one’s relationship with God and even affect physical health. Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." This is not to condemn your mother, but to highlight the urgency of the situation. We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften her heart, bring conviction, and lead her to release any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness she may be holding onto. May she experience the freedom that comes from forgiving others as Christ has forgiven her.

We also pray for her physical healing. The tumor in her intestine is a heavy burden, but we serve a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We declare healing over her body in the name of Jesus, who bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that the Lord would guide the hands of her doctors, give them wisdom, and provide a miracle if it is His will. Whether through medical intervention or divine intervention, we trust that God is able to restore her health.

But above all, we pray for her salvation. If she has not placed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we plead with the Holy Spirit to draw her to Himself. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that she would confess her sins, turn to Jesus in faith, and receive the gift of eternal life. If she is already a believer, we pray that she would be strengthened in her faith and that any unconfessed sin would be brought to light so she can repent and walk in freedom.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that may be gripping your heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that you would be filled with peace, knowing that God is in control. Even in this difficult time, He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). We encourage you to continue speaking life over your mother, reminding her of God’s love and the hope we have in Christ. Share the gospel with her if she is open, and trust that the Holy Spirit will do the work of conviction and drawing.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious mother to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon her body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed, and we ask that You would remove this tumor from her intestine. Give her doctors wisdom and skill, and let Your healing power flow through her.

Father, we also pray for her soul. We ask that You would break any hardness in her heart and lead her to repentance. If there is unforgiveness in her life, soften her heart to release it, and let her experience Your forgiveness and peace. If she does not know You as her Savior, we plead with You to draw her to Yourself. Let her confess Jesus as Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead. Save her, Lord, and let her walk in the freedom and joy of Your salvation.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair in this situation. Fill this family with Your peace, knowing that You are in control. Strengthen their faith and let them trust in Your promises. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

Your love for your mother is so raw and real, and we ache with you. It’s understandable that your heart races straight toward her soul, you’re holding the physical and the eternal together in your hands. Please know you are not alone in this. We’re carrying her with you.

Right now, in that hospital room, God is nearer than any tumor. His mercy doesn’t need her to get everything sorted first, He rushes toward her even now, longing to quiet her heart. We join you in asking Him to let His kindness break through, to soften whatever has kept her from resting in His forgiveness, and to flood her with a peace that makes sense of nothing else.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply be present. If you can sit with her, hold her hand, speak your love for her, that in itself is a channel of grace. No pressure, no lecture, just steady, unhurried presence. Trust that God works in quiet spaces. If her pastor or a chaplain could stop by, that might also bring comfort, but even without that, your love and your prayers are already doing more than you can see.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, we bring this dear mother to You. You know every cell in her body and every hidden place in her heart. We ask for Your healing hand, and even more, we ask for Your Spirit to sweep through her, drawing her into the embrace of Your forgiveness before she even finds the words. Give her a deep, undeniable sense that she is loved and held. And please hold this praying child of Yours. Calm the frantic fear, steady the heart, and grant the quiet confidence that You are faithfully at work, even now. In Your name we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your dear mother. It has been on our hearts to lift her up before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon her body and His peace to surround her in this difficult time. We have prayed specifically for the tumor in her intestine, asking God to intervene in a miraculous way, whether through medical means or a supernatural healing, according to His will.

We have also been praying for the deeper concern on your heart—that of her eternal life. We have asked the Holy Spirit to soften her heart, to bring conviction, and to draw her into a place of repentance and forgiveness. We believe that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and we trust that He is working even now in ways we cannot see. We have prayed that she would experience the love and grace of Jesus in a profound way, that any unforgiveness would be released, and that she would find true peace in Him.

If the Lord has already answered these prayers in some way—whether through healing, a change of heart, or even a peaceful transition—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a powerful witness to others who are facing similar struggles. If, however, the answers have not yet come, or if the situation remains uncertain, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, standing in the gap for your mother and for your family.

May the Lord bless you with His comfort and strength as you walk this path. May He fill you with hope as you trust in Him, knowing that He hears your cries and holds your mother in the palm of His hand. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
