We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your many burdens, lifting each one to our Heavenly Father who knows your deepest needs. First, we must gently address that while your cry for mercy is heartfelt, we only have access to God through the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Jesus alone that we boldly approach the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). It is only through Him that true healing, forgiveness, and eternal hope are found.
Now, we lift up your loved one who has suffered a stroke. Our Father, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit this precious life together in their mother’s womb. We ask for Your healing touch to restore strength, clarity, and wholeness to their body. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they recover. Grant wisdom to their caregivers and doctors, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
For your loved one with Asperger syndrome, we pray for comfort, understanding, and divine guidance. Lord, You fearfully and wonderfully made them, and we ask that You surround them with patience, love, and the support they need to thrive. *"Don’t fear, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). May they feel Your presence and know their worth in You.
We also intercede for the one who is homeless, crying out for affordable and safe housing. Father, You are the provider for the needy, and we ask that You open doors no man can shut. *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread"* (Psalm 37:25, WEB). For the grieving, we ask for Your comforting presence to surround them like a garment. *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted"* (Matthew 5:4, WEB). Heal their broken hearts and remind them that You are close to the crushed in spirit. Let them find solace in the hope of eternity with You, where there will be no more pain or sorrow.
We also pray for protection over you and all those you’ve mentioned—from accidents, harm, and calamities. *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:4, WEB). Guard each step, each decision, and each moment with Your mighty hand.
Lastly, we address the need for healing in relationships. While we don’t know the specifics of the relationships you’ve mentioned, we must remind you that God’s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. If there is any fornication, adultery, or relationships outside of this biblical framework, we urge repentance and realignment with God’s Word. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB).
