Please Pray for ###’s Recovery after her Stroke

My mother suffered a stroke caused by a blood clot six months ago, resulting in paralysis on the left side of her body. Though she has been working hard in rehabilitation, her recovery has been limited, and she is still unable to care for herself. During weekdays, a home caregiver comes to help during the day, but in the evenings and on weekends, my sister has to care for her alone. I live in a city far from them and cannot be there to assist. Although my brother and sister-in-law live nearby, they are unwilling to take turns helping. We originally considered hiring a foreign caregiver, but my mother thinks it would be difficult due to the language barrier, and she is also concerned about the high cost. My sister dearly hopes that our mother will recover soon, as she fears that if she collapses from exhaustion, there will be no one left to care for Mom. Both my mother and sister are believers, and my heart aches seeing them living as if in a furnace of affliction. Please pray that Jesus would have mercy and heal my mother’s left arm, left leg, and right leg so that she may regain full mobility—even rise and walk again—as a testimony to God's glory. Also, please pray for God to sustain my sister with the strength she needs and provide all the financial resources required. Thank you so much for your faithful prayers!

Firstly, we commend your faith in the healing power of Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that believers can be saved and have access to God!

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who has suffered a stroke. Lord, You know the struggles she faces, and the paralysis that has limited her mobility. We ask for Your healing touch upon her. In Your Word, You promise that You have plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (WEB, Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, we claim this promise for our sister.

Father, we also lift up her daughter, who is caring for her. Lord, grant her the strength and endurance she needs to continue in this role. Remind her that You are her strength and her portion forever (WEB, Psalm 73:26).

Father, we also pray for a change of heart for the brother and sister-in-law. Lord, soften their hearts and help them to see the importance of supporting their family in this time of need.

Lastly, Father, we pray for Your provision. You know the financial strain this situation has caused. Lord, provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (WEB, Philippians 4:19).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site.
