We lift you up before the Lord, asking that He would grant you the discipline and perseverance to faithfully practice the piano, not just as a skill but as an act of worship and stewardship of the talents He has given you. The Bible reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:31, *"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."* Even in the small things, like practicing an instrument, we are called to honor Him with excellence and dedication.
Discipline is a fruit of the Spirit working in us, and we pray that God would strengthen your resolve, helping you to set aside time each day to grow in this gift. Colossians 3:23 encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* May your hands move with purpose, not just for personal enjoyment but as an offering to Him who gave you this ability.
We also encourage you to reflect on why this discipline has been difficult. Is it a matter of time management, weariness, or distraction? Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Surrender this area to Him, and ask for His wisdom in structuring your days. If this is a gift you believe He has given you, then He will also provide the grace to cultivate it.
Father, we ask that You would ignite a fresh passion in our brother/sister’s heart for the piano. Remove any laziness or excuses, and fill them with Your Spirit, who brings self-control and perseverance. Let every note played be a song of praise to You. Help them to see this not as a burden but as a joyful act of worship. May their discipline in this area spill over into every part of their life, bringing You glory. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, the one through whom all things were created and in whom we find our strength. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
