We join with you in bringing this worry before the Lord in Jesus' name and we thank you for closing your request in His precious name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.
We understand the anxious feeling when someone you care about is unreachable and his phone is off, and we hear your heart asking the Lord to watch over him and to bring his voice back to you soon. The Lord knows your concern and He knows where this man is and what his needs are in this moment. We are reminded of what Scripture says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We are also told to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Pet 5:7.
We do not command angels, but we can ask our heavenly Father who in His love and sovereignty commands them, for the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7 and He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We trust that whether his phone is simply out of battery or he is otherwise delayed, the Lord is his keeper and yours as well.
If this man is one you are courting, we pray that your relationship is seeking to honor God and moving toward the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman as God designed, with purity and with Christ at the center, and that you both would trust the Lord with your communication and your future. We encourage you to continue to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Prov 3:5-6.

Your worry over this silence has been laid before the Lord, and He is a God who waits to be gracious. He is not deaf to the cry of an anxious heart, and His long forbearance and singular patience toward His people is our comfort, that when we come back to Him we find Him lovingly waiting to pardon and to help through Jesus Christ alone.
Our Saviour gives this injunction, Do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. You have done what you could, and now you are to leave the result with God. To be anxious because a phone is off and a battery is spent is to let a small outward thing rule the inward peace which Christ would keep. My soul, wait thou only upon God. A waiting people wait only upon God. They are not trusting to the arm of flesh, nor looking to the changeable creature.
To wait upon God is like a traveler waiting the directions of his guide. He is at the helm and His hand is to steer our course in the entire voyage of life. Waiting upon God sustains courage, for it makes us grow small and dwarfs the world and all its affairs till we see their real littleness, and then we receive a mysterious strength through the incoming of the Eternal Spirit into our souls. Therefore be brave in this waiting. Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.
Do not give up prayer because the answer tarries a little. If you think help is delayed, cry yet more earnestly unto God most high, unto God that performeth all things for you, and say, Be merciful unto me, O God, for my soul trusteth in Thee, yea, in the shadow of Thy wings will I make my refuge. Remember that where God begins a good work, He does not ask us to finish it. He always completes His own work.
Let us pray with you. O Lord our God, we ask Thee to quiet this troubled heart and to keep it from fretful care. Forgive our sins and give us salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we may be saved. Teach us to wait only upon Thee, to seek Thy counsel first, and to leave all temporal things in Thy wise and sovereign hands. Give peace that passeth understanding, guard this soul from fear, and order all things according to Thy good will, that we may live with this single care, to bless Thee and to trust Thee.
