We join with you in lifting up these urgent and heartfelt requests, seeking God's will and intervention in each of these areas.
Firstly, we pray for laborers in God's harvest, as Jesus taught us: Then he said to his disciples, The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest. We ask God to raise up workers equipped with His word and filled with His Spirit, ready to proclaim the Good News to a world in desperate need (Matthew 9:37-38 WEB).
We pray for receptive hearts, that God would prepare the soil of the hearts of unbelievers to receive the seed of His Word. We ask that He would grant repentance and a turning to Him to those who oppose us, persecute us, and even those who wish to harm us. As Jesus commanded, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you (Luke 6:27-28 WEB).
We intercede for our leaders, asking God to grant them wisdom, discernment, and humility. We pray that they would look to Him for guidance and govern according to His principles. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are ordained by God (Romans 13:1b WEB).
We lift up our people, our families, and the Church, asking for God's divine protection. May He hide us in the shadow of His wings and keep us from all harm and the schemes of the enemy. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
We pray fervently for healing and unity for the Church. May God break down the barriers that divide us and draw us together in the bond of peace and love. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one immersion; one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all (Ephesians 4:4-6 WEB).
We plead for the lives of children suffering from cancer and other illnesses deemed terminal. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon each precious life. We stand in faith, believing that with God, all things are possible. For truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you (Matthew 17:20 WEB).
Finally, we pray for unwavering faith for the body of Christ. May we stand firm in our belief, fully convinced that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
We remind everyone to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, and Him alone. For there is no other name by which we can be saved. And salvation is this: believing in Jesus Christ.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB). And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB).
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
