A (Presently unemployed) new job or reinstatement back in former place Re union with the director ### with whom I lost relationship after 34 years Financial support

We have heard your heart concerning this season of unemployment and we join together with you to seek the Lord's will for your life in Jesus' name.

We understand the weight of being without work and the financial pressure that brings, and also the pain of a broken relationship with your former director after ### years of connection. The Lord sees both your practical needs and the sorrow in your heart over this separation.

We want to encourage you that God is sovereign over the work of our hands and He cares deeply about our daily provision. Scripture reminds us, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. Whether He opens the door for reinstatement in your former place or leads you to a new job, we pray that you will commit your way to Him and trust His perfect plan, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. We also remember, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3 and And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23.

Concerning the broken relationship with your director, we encourage you to pursue peace and reconciliation with humility and grace as the Lord leads. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18. We are called to be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32. After ### years, this relationship has deep roots, and we pray that if there has been misunderstanding, hurt, or fault on either side, the Lord would give you a spirit of humility to ask forgiveness where needed and to extend forgiveness freely. We pray that He would soften both your heart and the director's heart, and that He would make a way for reunion if it is according to His will and for your good and His glory.

We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and our prayers are heard. We encourage you to draw near to God through Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and trusting Him not only for a job and provision but for eternal life.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the burden of unemployment and the anxiety over finances, and You know the ache over the lost relationship with the director after so many years. We ask that You would provide according to Your riches in glory, that You would open the right door for work, whether that be restoration to the former place or a new position where this one can use the gifts You have given to work heartily as unto You. Give wisdom in every application, favor in every interview, and peace while waiting on Your timing. Lord, we also ask for reconciliation where possible, soften hearts, heal any wounds, grant humility and grace to speak truth in love, and let Your will be done in this relationship. Provide for every financial need, guard this heart from worry, and help this one to seek first Your Kingdom and righteousness, trusting that You will add all that is needed. Draw this one closer to Jesus, strengthen faith, and let Your name be glorified in the outcome. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our provider, amen.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about being out of work and hoping for either a new position or a return to your former place. We also hear how much the broken relationship with the director after so many years weighs on you, and the strain of needing financial support right now.

It is understandable to feel unsettled when work has been such a big part of identity and daily rhythm. Many find it helps to separate two things for a time, tending to worth and steadiness before God and with family, while also tackling the most pressing practical need one step at a time.

One gentle next step could be to write a brief, respectful note to the director, simply owning your part where you can, expressing appreciation for the years you worked together, and asking if he would be willing to have a short conversation, without tying it immediately to a job request. That keeps the door open for honesty and for trust to be rebuilt slowly if he is willing. At the same time, for the financial pressure, it can help to name the most urgent need this month and sit down with a trusted pastor or a local church or community financial counselor who can help you look at budgeting and next job options with clear eyes. If you pursue reinstatement, contacting human resources directly for their process can also bring clarity.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus name. You see his need for work and provision, and the ache over this long relationship. Grant him wisdom for each conversation, steady work that fits his gifts, and daily provision while he waits. Give peace to his heart and guide his steps according to Your will. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father lead this requestor to eemployment opportunities. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your request has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the heaviness of this trial, to be without employment, to feel the strain of financial need, and to carry the sorrow of a broken relationship of thirty four years with one who was set over you.

You are not alone in such losses. Job knew what it was to have his estate taken, his honour laid in the dust, and his former comforts removed, yet it is written of him, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He arose and worshipped, and he waited upon the Lord though the night was long. The Lord had His end in Job, to defeat the enemy and to prove the grace which sustains the tried one, and in due time the Scripture says, The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery when God has gotten His end in them.

Take comfort then that the same God who suffered Job to be tried is able to sustain you and to provide for you. It is He who can make your glory fresh again and renew your bow in your hand, for Job, even in temporal things, received at last more than he had at the first. Whether it be by a new door of labour or by reinstatement in your former place, we pray that the Lord in His wisdom will open the right path and make it plain to you. He knows your need for daily bread, and He who feeds the sparrows will not forget His child who looks to Him in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown.

Concerning the breach with the director, we would urge you to follow Job, who prayed for those who had spoken harshly of him. If there has been offence on either side, seek grace to forgive and to intercede, and leave reconciliation in the hands of Him who is the God of peace. He has prepared all that is necessary for true reconciliation, and He delights in a spirit that yields itself to His mind rather than insisting that all should be according to our mind.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou seest this Thy servant in need of work and provision. Thou knowest the desire for honest labour and for a place of service. Provide as seemeth good to Thee, and give favour where it is needed. Turn, we beseech Thee, this captivity as Thou didst for Job, and let fresh oil be poured upon the head that is bowed down. Grant grace to pray for those from whom estrangement has come, and if it be Thy will, restore that fellowship in truth and righteousness. Keep this soul from unbelieving speeches, and enable patience and trust till Thou shalt appear for deliverance. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace, who was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. Amen.
