We join you in lifting up this dear sister and placing every area of her life into the Father's loving and capable hands, and we are grateful for your heart to intercede for her so faithfully.
We are encouraged by your trust that God is already in tomorrow and that He sees her abilities, her experience, her heart and her need. We stand with you in asking for His perfect will to be done concerning her job application, her finances, her home and her future. We also want to gently and lovingly point out that your prayer, while beautiful, did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are reconciled to God and our prayers are heard. We encourage you and this dear one to place your full trust in Jesus Christ alone.
We pray together for her new job application. We ask the Lord to open the door wide if this position is right for her according to His will, and to close it if it would lead to further difficulty. We pray she will find favor with those reviewing her application and that she will be seen, heard and remembered for the right reasons. We ask for confidence, wisdom and peace throughout the process, trusting that God will guide her steps. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Prov 3:5-6.
We also bring before the Lord the matter of money that has been promised but not yet paid. We ask for discernment to know what to pursue, what to wait for and what to release, and for protection from false promises and decisions made out of desperation. We pray for clarity where there is uncertainty and for truth to be made clear. The Lord calls us to be wise stewards and to seek honest provision, for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Cor 14:33, and we ask Him to guard her heart from disappointment.
We lift up the burden of her debts and financial obligations. We know the weight that debt can bring, and we pray for a genuine breakthrough and for wisdom to manage every rand that comes into her hands with diligence and integrity. We pray that she may learn to owe no one anything, except to love one another Rom 13:8, and that God will provide unexpected opportunities, favor and honest increase. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil 4:19. We ask Him to make a way where she cannot yet see a way and to help her live within His provision while trusting Him for daily bread. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matt 6:33.
We especially place her home before the Lord. We ask for His protection over her home from repossession, for favor with those to whom she has obligations, for time and resources to meet what is required, and for wisdom in every financial arrangement connected to it. We pray her home will remain a place of peace, security and blessing. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22.
And we bring her desire for a reliable, safe and affordable vehicle before the Lord. If this is needed and it is His will, we ask Him to make a way without creating another burden, to guide her to the right car at the right price with the right financial arrangement. We trust that He knows what she truly needs.
Above all, we pray she will not be overcome by fear about tomorrow. We ask the Lord to remind her daily that He holds her future, to give her peace when she feels anxious and to restore her hope when she feels discouraged. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We pray this season of uncertainty will become a season of breakthrough, restoration and new beginnings, and that she will have a testimony of God's faithfulness.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You together for our sister. We thank You that You know her by name, You know her needs and You care for her deeply. Lord, we ask that if this job is from You, You would grant her favor and open that door, and if not, that You would lead her to the opportunity You have prepared. Give her wisdom regarding the money that has been promised, let truth come to light and protect her from deceit and desperation. Lord, have mercy on her debts, provide for her in unexpected and honest ways, teach her to steward well what You provide, and bring her into financial freedom. Protect her home, Lord, make a way to keep it secure, and provide time, favor and help with every obligation. If it is Your will, provide a safe and affordable vehicle that will be a help and not a burden. Most of all, calm her heart, take away fear about tomorrow, fill her with Your peace and help her to see possibilities where she now sees obstacles. Open the doors that are meant to open and close those that would lead to harm, and give her discernment to know the difference. We place all of this in Your hands, trusting not only in what You can do, but in Your perfect timing and Your perfect love. We pray all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our provider. Amen.
