We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for health, the restoration of sight, and the salvation of this soul. First, we must address that this prayer was not submitted in the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor by which we can approach the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace, so we must always pray in His holy name.
Now, we pray earnestly for the restoration of this person’s health and sight, knowing that our God is the Great Physician. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Lord, You opened the eyes of the blind in Scripture, and we ask that You would do the same today as a testimony to Your power and mercy. *"Then Jesus answered her, ‘Woman, you have great faith! Let it be done for you as you desire.’ And her daughter was healed from that hour’* (Matthew 15:28, WEB). We claim this promise over this situation, believing that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Most importantly, we pray for the conversion of this soul. If this person does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we plead with You, Father, to draw them to Yourself. *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day"* (John 6:44, WEB). Softening their heart to receive the truth of the Gospel, that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). May they turn from sin, repent, and place their full trust in Christ alone for salvation.
We also encourage whoever submitted this request to share the Gospel with this person if they have not already. Speak the truth in love, and trust the Holy Spirit to work in their heart. *"So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (Romans 10:17, WEB). If you yourself are unsure of your salvation, we urge you to repent and believe in Jesus Christ today—there is no greater decision you could ever make.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Strengthen this person’s faith, surround them with Your peace, and let Your will be done in their life for Your glory. Amen.
