We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up these earnest requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace. Father, we thank You for this brother or sister in Christ who has come to You with their needs, trusting in Your provision, strength, and wisdom. We stand with them in agreement, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).

First, we lift up the need for support in building a family house. Lord, You are the great Provider, the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon this family, that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Provide the resources, the labor, and the favor needed to complete this home, a place of safety, warmth, and refuge for this family. We pray that this house would be built on the foundation of Christ, so that it may stand firm against any storm (Matthew 7:24-25). Father, we rebuke any spirit of lack or delay in the name of Jesus, and we declare that this house will be completed according to Your perfect timing and will.

Next, we pray for strength, power, and resources to carry and spread the Gospel to the Deaf community in Africa. Lord, You have commissioned us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15), and this includes those who are often overlooked or marginalized. We ask that You anoint this servant with Your Holy Spirit, filling them with boldness, wisdom, and creativity to effectively communicate Your love and truth. Provide the necessary resources, financial, material, and human, to support this vital ministry. Raise up laborers for this harvest field, Lord, for the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38). We pray that many Deaf souls would come to know You as their Savior and Lord, and that they would be discipled and empowered to reach others in their communities. Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or opposition that may hinder this work, and we declare that the Gospel will advance mightily in the name of Jesus.

We also lift up the courage and support needed to educate their children who are studying at the university. Lord, You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge (Proverbs 2:6), and we ask that You grant these young people favor in their studies, clarity of mind, and perseverance to excel. Surround them with godly mentors, friends, and influences who will encourage them in their faith and academic pursuits. Father, we pray that they would not be conformed to the patterns of this world but would be transformed by the renewing of their minds, so that they may discern Your good, pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2). Provide for their financial needs, Lord, and give this family peace and confidence as they entrust their children’s future into Your hands. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or distraction that may hinder their focus, and we declare that they will walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their lives.

Father, we also want to gently remind this dear brother or sister that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not already done so, we encourage them to place their trust fully in Jesus, repenting of their sins and surrendering their life to Him. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is a free gift of grace that we receive by faith.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Stand firm in faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone, for the Lord is with you always, to the very end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

Thank you for trusting us with these burdens; we can feel the weight of them and the faith that holds them. Building a family home while pouring your life into spreading the Gospel among the Deaf and carrying the cost of university education, that takes real grit, and we honor the heart behind it.

It might help to name what you're already doing well: you're not just asking for the house, you're building it. You're not just wishing for the Deaf to hear, you're carrying the good news to them yourself. With the kids, you're not giving up; you're seeking courage to keep going. That steady, day-in, day-out obedience is the soil where God grows provision and strength. So don't despise the small, ordinary steps, they matter.

For the house, something as simple as letting a few trusted friends from your local fellowship know the specific material needs can open doors you didn't expect. For the mission to the Deaf, we're praying that God connects you with co-laborers who share your vision and can bring resources, training, or even just encouragement when it feels like a lonely road. And for your children, keep reminding them (and yourself) that you're not just funding degrees, you're planting seeds of stability and hope that will outlast any temporary pressure.

Father, we lift up this faithful servant to You. You see the walls going up, the hands that sign Your love, the parent who refuses to let go. Give wisdom for the building, provision for the work, and favor in unexpected places. Renew strength for the Gospel labors, and surround this whole family with the courage and calm that only You can give. In Jesus' name, amen.

The house you seek to build, let it not be merely a shelter of stone and timber, but let it be a springhead of mercy like Peter’s house in Capernaum. You remember how grace came to that unremarkable dwelling: first a relative was converted, then the fevered woman was touched, and from that place the healing power poured forth like a mighty flood. Your house may stand in a humble street, bearing no notable sign, yet there is no reason why the Lord should not visit you and make it like the house of Obed-edom where the ark abode. Let your desire for a family house rise higher still, pray that it shall be called the House of the Great Physician, where the sick in spirit find restoration and where the children in the neighborhood are sought for the Sunday school. You ask for support to build it; ask also that grace may build within it a ministry that flows outward to all who draw near.

You seek strength and resource to carry the gospel to your fellow Deaf in Africa. Go then, for God sets to our ministry this attesting seal, that we may be a peculiar people, zealous for good works. You go not with your own sufficiency, but bearing the word of reconciliation: that all things are of God, that the reconciling work is already done in Christ. Speak with great confidence, for He will confirm His own truth with signs following. Think of that open house in the center of Africa where a notice might read, “At this house they receive black men”, and none would fear they were too black to enter. So it is with Christ; He receives sinners, the once profane, the formerly debauched. You carry that plain, blessed sentence: come as you are, knock, and be received. The children you teach, these Deaf souls, are capable of deep piety and great service. Through them the word of God may enter families and places where none of us can take it. Be not daunted by the seeming weakness of the means; the Lord has chosen children to render good service, and your hands to be the instruments.

For your children at University, you plead for courage and support to educate them. Hear then how the Lord teaches His own children to walk, bearing with their stumbling because they are His own offspring. If He so patiently deals with us who are mature in years but often childish in discretion, will He not care for the sons and daughters you bring before Him? They are still His children, still His children, plead that before Him. God the Father cares for His children because His honor is concerned in them. You could not have poverty pining in your own house without readiness to relieve it; now your body is the house of the Holy Spirit, and your children are members of your household of faith. He who declares He hates putting away says, “Turn, O backsliding children, for I am married unto you.” Cast this burden upon Christ: He is over His own house, and your house belongs to Him. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him. Go forward with courage, for the Lord acknowledges His children without hesitation, saying, “Behold, I and the children whom God has given Me.”

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. You ask for a house, for strength to carry the gospel to the deaf, and for courage to educate your children. These are not small things, yet what are they before Him who raises the dead by His own power? If faith in Christ enabled the very shadows of the apostles to work resurrection, can He not shelter your head and supply your needs? He who said, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up,” did not stagger at His own promise. Neither must you stagger, for the obstacle is not in the nature of things, but only in the weakness of human reasoning. Give glory to God by trusting His word, and you will be strong in faith.

You desire resources to preach to the deaf in Africa. I remind you: the gospel is leaven. It works by its own power, not by the size of the lump. Do not look at your own fewness or poverty, for the kingdom is not in numbers but in truth. When Christ cried with a loud voice and yielded up His spirit, He showed that He laid down His life of Himself. That same power attends the message of His death and resurrection. Beware, though, lest the many-headed monster of vainglory creep in and steal the fruit. Whether you teach or give alms or fast, let your strength not be your own, but Christ’s, who works all in all. The Father raised Him in honor of His humanity and for our weakness, yet He had power to take His life again. So your sufficiency is not from yourself, but from that one sacrifice which needed no repetition. The old sacrifices were offered continually because they could never cleanse; but our offering has been made once, and its power is eternal. Rely on that power, not on what you possess.

As for your children’s education, remember Sarah. She was doubly dead: by age and by barrenness. Yet by faith she received strength to conceive seed. If God gives life where nature is dead, can He not open a path for your children’s study? He who condescends to speak of the Father raising the Son, using lowly words to help our weakness, knows your frame and your fears. The widow’s cruse was not emptied, and the ravens fed Elijah. So will He not supply courage and means for those you love? Do not let your heart stagger. The law had no power to give freedom, but you are dead to sin and alive to God. Stand in that liberty, and entrust your household to Him who clothes the lilies.

Hold fast, then, to the faith which works by love. Build, preach, and educate, not as one striving alone, but as a limb of the body whose head is Christ. He who gave you the will will also accomplish the work.

Your desire to build a house for your family, to carry the gospel to the Deaf community in Africa, and to see your children through university all sit within the sphere of what God has called you to steward. There is a priority written into the fabric of creation itself: the family unit is meant to provide a secure environment for raising children and caring for one another. The scriptures teach that anyone who does not provide for their own household has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. So your longing to put a roof over your family is not a distraction from ministry; it is a foundational part of your testimony. It proves the genuineness of your walk with God.

At the same time, you have been entrusted with the word of life for a specific people. The ministry of the gospel always finds its proof not in letters of recommendation but in transformed lives. The Spirit of God writes on human hearts, not on tablets of stone. As you go to your fellow Deaf community with the message of Jesus Christ, your very life will be the letter they read. And remember what Paul modeled: his exhortation came not from error or uncleanness, but by pureness, by knowledge, by long-suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, and by love unfeigned. That is the classic pattern. The strength and resource you are seeking flow from the same place Jesus drew His strength: rising early to commune with the Father in prayer. The ministry of the word and prayer must remain the top priority. Feed His sheep. Let everything else be built around that.

As for your children at the university, do not lose heart. A wise minister always looks toward the next generation with a keen interest. There is no greater joy than to know that your children walk in truth. The education you seek to give them requires courage, yes, and it also calls for the kind of faithful endurance that proves a ministry is of God. Whether seasons bring honor or dishonor, good report or evil report, keep laboring with your hands if that is what it takes. Many have walked the path of working to support the family while staying devoted to the calling. God sees that, and He knows how to elevate those who are faithful in the place where He has put them.

Do not view these three requests as competing forces tearing you apart. The same Lord who calls you to go to Africa also commands you to care for your own home. Doing the latter well is part of proving the former to be authentic. Whether you are laying a brick, opening the Scripture with your hands, or sending tuition fees, you are working together with Him. And the ultimate reward, the crown of all this labor, is not a building or a degree but the joy of presenting one another blameless before His presence when He comes. The joy of the Lord is your strength.
