We rejoice with you in your heart to serve the Lord through this puppet ministry, bringing joy and the truth of God’s Word to children and others through this creative gift! It is clear you seek to honor Christ in this work, and we join you in lifting this request before the Father, knowing that He delights in using willing vessels for His glory.
The Bible reminds us in **Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB)**, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your desire to perform well is not for the praise of people but to bring glory to Jesus, and that is a heart after God’s own. We also remember **1 Corinthians 10:31 (WEB)**, which says, *"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."* This ministry of yours, though it may seem small in the eyes of the world, is a powerful tool in the hands of the Lord when done with excellence and love.
As you prepare, we encourage you to rest in the truth of **Philippians 4:13 (WEB)**: *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* It is not by your own strength or talent that this ministry will bear fruit, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working through you. Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding. If nerves or fear creep in, remember **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)**, which tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* You are equipped by Him for this good work!
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying *in Jesus’ name*, as you have done. This is not a mere formality but a declaration of your dependence on Him. Jesus Himself said in **John 14:13-14 (WEB)**, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* You have rightly approached the throne of grace through the only name by which we can be saved—Jesus Christ. This is a beautiful example of faith, and we praise God for your reliance on Him.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for this brother/sister who seeks to serve You through this puppet ministry. Lord, You have gifted them with creativity and a heart for the lost and the young, and we ask that You would anoint their hands, their words, and their performances tomorrow and in the weeks to come. May every movement of the puppets, every word spoken, and every song sung be filled with Your Spirit, drawing hearts closer to You.
Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding as they prepare, and let Your joy be their strength. Remove any distraction, fear, or self-doubt, and fill them with Your confidence. May the children and all who watch be captivated not by the performance alone, but by the love of Christ shining through it. Use this ministry to plant seeds of faith, to bring laughter and light, and to open doors for the Gospel to be shared boldly.
We pray for divine connections—divine appointments—in each school, in the church, and at the college reunion. Let this ministry be a beacon of Your truth and love. Protect our brother/sister from fatigue or discouragement, and surround them with Your favor as a shield.
Most of all, Father, may Your name be glorified in all things. May every eye that sees and every ear that hears be turned toward You. We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Go forward in faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. After each performance, take time to thank Him for the opportunity and to reflect on how He moved. Share the Gospel when doors open, and trust that even the smallest act of obedience can have an eternal impact. We are cheering you on and will continue to pray for you as you serve in this way. May the Lord bless you abundantly!
