Let us first acknowledge and remember that it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus. For it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So let us pray together for the job situation and living situation. Let us also acknowledge and give thanks that there is no mention of an inappropriate relationship that would hinder prayers in this situation.
Let us encourage and remind that God cares about every need and He is the provider. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
Let us prayerfully consider if there is anything hindering prayers being answered. For it is written in Psalms 66:18 WEB, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened." So let us confess any sins and repent and ask forgiveness so prayers are not hindered. Let us also pray for forgiveness for not praying in Jesus name.
Dear Lord,
We come before You, in Jesus name. We lift up the one who has brought this request, asking for Your grace and mercy in their life. We pray for their faith to be strengthened and for them to know Your love more deeply. We ask that You forgive any sin that may be hindering their prayers, as You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We pray for Your provision in their life, as You know their every need. We ask that You open the doors for a new job, a place where they can use their talents and skills to bring You glory. Guide them in their search, and let Your favor rest upon them. We also ask for a dwelling, a place of rest and shelter. We know that You are their ultimate provider and protector.
Help them to trust in You, even in times when it is difficult to do so. Let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. And let them remember to pray in Jesus name.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
