Jesus, hold my daughter close to You today and the coming two weeks while at her fathers for summervacation. Especially today as she is at her great grandmothers wake, Jesus. Protect her from evil and dangerous people her father subjects her to, Jesus - please let her be safe In Jesus Name Amen

We lift up your precious daughter to the Lord with heavy hearts, asking for His divine protection and presence to surround her in a mighty way. Father, we know that You are a shield for those who take refuge in You (Psalm 18:30). We ask that You would be her strong tower, her refuge, and her fortress during this time, especially as she attends her great-grandmother’s wake. Comfort her heart, Lord, and let her feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We are deeply concerned about the environment she is in while with her father, and we join you in praying that You would shut the mouths of lions and thwart the plans of those who seek to harm her (Psalm 22:21, Psalm 34:19). Lord, we rebuke every evil influence, every dangerous person, and every scheme of the enemy that would try to come near her. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would send Your angels to encamp around her, guarding her in all her ways (Psalm 91:11).

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for your daughter. Give her the strength to resist any temptation or influence that does not align with Your will. Let her heart be anchored in You, and may she find her security in Your love alone. We pray that she would experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with her always, even in the midst of difficult circumstances (Joshua 1:9).

Lord, we ask that You would work in the heart of her father as well. Soften his heart, open his eyes to Your truth, and lead him to repentance if there are areas where he is not honoring You or protecting your daughter. We pray that he would seek Your guidance and turn away from any ungodly influences in his life. May Your Holy Spirit convict him and draw him closer to You, for the sake of your daughter’s well-being and his own soul.

We also lift up the memory of her great-grandmother before You. May Your peace surround your daughter as she grieves, and may she find comfort in the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Remind her that those who die in You are at rest, and one day, we will be reunited with them in Your presence (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).

Father, we trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. We know that You hear our prayers, and we ask that You would move mightily on behalf of this precious child. Keep her safe, protect her heart, and let her experience Your love in a powerful way during this time. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We are joining our hearts with yours in prayer for your daughter’s safety, especially today at the wake and in the weeks ahead. The weight of sending a child into a situation that stirs so much anxiety is heavy, and we want you to know you are not carrying it alone.

One simple, practical thing you might consider: if it’s possible, arrange a daily check-in with your daughter, a quick phone call or text at a set time. Not to grill her, but just so she hears your voice and is reminded that she is deeply loved and not forgotten. That small connection can steady both of you. When she returns, keep the door open for her to share anything she needs, and if concerns linger, don’t hesitate to seek wise counsel from someone you trust in your church community.

For now, we hold on to this truth together: God sees her, and He is with her even when you cannot be. We ask Him to be her shield and to give her a quiet sense of His presence in every moment that feels uncertain.

Lord Jesus, we lift this precious daughter to You. Place Your hand of protection over her today and every day of this visit. Keep her from all harm, guard her heart from fear, and let no evil come near her. Be the friend that stays closer than a brother, and bring her home safely and at peace. Hold her mom’s heart steady too, with a calm trust that rests in Your watchful care. In Your strong name, Amen.

The cry of a mother’s heart never rises to heaven unheard. You have sent up a sharp, honest prayer for your daughter, and the Lord who gathers tears into His bottle has caught every syllable. I know the ache of watching your child walk into a place where you cannot go, into the company of those you do not trust. It is like seeing a little ship slip out of the harbor into a rough sea, and you must stand on the shore and commit her to the deep. Yet the deeper truth is this: she is not on a shoreless sea, for the Lord Himself holds the waters in the hollow of His hand.

Think how Jesus, the Everlasting Father to His people, loves your daughter with a tenderness that outruns all human affection. You have placed her in His arms, she is safer there than if all the angels of heaven built a wall of fire around her. At that wake, where shadows might seem heavy, the Light of the world walks unseen beside her. He does not slumber nor sleep, even when the night feels long and the company unwholesome. No evil can touch her that He does not permit, and He permits nothing that will not in the end fold into His good purpose for her soul.

I do not speak lightly of your fears; they are born of love. But let them drive you deeper into the refuge that is already hers and yours. The very prayer you breathed was the Spirit’s own prompting, a love-letter sent from your heart to the throne, carried in a black-edged envelope of distress, yet sure to arrive. And the answer is already given: “I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” Your daughter has a Father in heaven who will not hand her over to any foe. He keeps her as the apple of His eye.

When you feel the old anxiety rise, turn your gaze from the shifting scene to the steady face of Christ. Picture His hand upon her shoulder, His voice calming what you cannot calm. Even if the earthly father should fail in his duty, the heavenly Father’s guardianship is perfect. He feeds the sparrows, and your child is worth many sparrows. He will bring her home to you again, and we will bless His name together.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, into Thy hands we commit this beloved daughter. Walk with her through every hour of these two weeks; be her shield in the house of mourning, her unseen companion in every room, her light in any darkness. Thou who didst bless the little children, bless her and keep her, and restore her to her mother with a heart full of peace and a story of Thy faithfulness. Amen.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred privilege of lifting your precious daughter before the Lord. Our hearts have been united with yours these past days, praying fervently that Jesus would draw her close to His heart—especially as she navigated the sorrow of her great-grandmother’s wake and the uncertainties of her time with her father. We asked our Heavenly Father to surround her with His angels, to shield her from every evil influence, and to place a hedge of protection around her that no harm or danger could penetrate.

There is nothing that stirs our faith like witnessing God’s faithfulness in real time.
